| I used to drink a lot of soda, but kinda out of nowhere, I stopped and now I only drink water, milk and juice. Every now and then though, I pick up a coke or sprite.
In short though, now I can never finish a can of soda. After drinking even a little bit, by throat begins to hurt and my voice cracks. It's really not worth it in the end. :/ I don't like coffee either, so pretty much all caffeine is a no-go for me.
Do you drink a lot of soda or other caffeinated beverages? Does anyone else find such beverages as displeasing as I do? xP From what I can tell, I wouldn't like alcohol either. I have no intentions of trying it in the first place though.

| I no longer drink soda. I used to like everyday i would drink almost nothing but soda. Now though I drink water or juice. I can't drink milk unless its chocolate or has sugar in it. For some reason regular milk makes me sick to my stomach but I am not lactose intolerant.
Anyway yeah I no longer drink soda. I do have the occasional beer or other alcoholic beverage but no to often.

| KoyiTar, milk does the exact same thing to me! I can never drink it straight and only use a tiny bit in my cereal (which has to be sugary or have sugar added, or else the milk makes me feel nauseous). But I'm definitely not lactose intolerant. My diet is about 60% cheese.
My one concession to dieting is now I only drink one soda a day, with my lunch. I can't give up caffeine all together, though. I'm a complete and utter zombie without my tea in the morning. It's not a pretty sight.
As for alchohol, I'm definitely a drinker (although only socially). It loosens me up enough to get past the crushing social anxiety that dogs me all the rest of the time. Except for beer... that stuff's just nasty.

| I don't drink soda nearly at all. If I want caffeine, I go for coffee. I only drink soda when there's some kind of promotion and they hand out small cans of coke for free in the streets. XD The only soda I like is Irn-Bru, but I don't drink it often. Can't get it where I live.

| I used to drink a lot of sodas.
When I decided to go on a diet tho it was the first thing to go. I drink them on occasion but not very often.
I do drink coffee. But thats because it's sometimes necessary to keep away when I go to work in the morning. I keep it to a minimum tho.
I do like alcohol tho. I think it's the Irish in me. I don't like beer tho or anything overly bitter. So I mostly stick to the sweeter not as alcoholic beverages. I also keep this down to a minimum. Once every couple of weeks and I don't drink much.

| When I was younger, I used to always order either Sprite or Sherly Temples. They were my absolute favorite up until I hit puberty.
After that I started drinking juices, milk, coffee and teas more regularly than sodas.
Now I hardly ever drink sodas or any carbonated drinks unless on special occasions -like New Years-.

| I don't drink them alot, but I do like them :-)
Most of the time I prefer juice and milk though. Actually recently I don't like to drink any *water*. Don't know why, doesn't matter if it comes from bottle or tap.
But anything with flavor is okay to me^^

| I really didn't drink soda too much in the first place. However, my boyfriend drank it all the time and it was pretty much the only clean beverage available to us when we lived together my first year at university so I would drink it all the time and I became used to it. Then we both just stopped and now neither of us can finish us a soda by ourselves. I do find them unpleasant at time because they DO hurt to drink them. I like to drink lemonade. My boyfriend used to drink soda with breakfast, I tried it once and wanted to die it was so horrible.
I also, like you hate coffee, I hate it! It makes me sick. I do not tolerate caffeine well at all. I get sick and feel like I'm going to die if I drink coffee or energy drinks. I feel horrible when I see college kids like me guzzling energy drinks around finals.
I also heard a story from a friend that her friend took a couple of diet pills and had a monster or amp (I can't remember which) and DIED. That is right...she DIED. So I want to try to stay away from unnatural drinks.

| When I was 5+ I used to drink 2 litres of fizzy drinks every day. I've never been affected by sugar rushes, hyperactivity or caffeine so my parents were fine with me drinking these. I also used to drink loads of coffee all the time. However when I was 10 or so I started getting really bad and painful stomach cramps whenever I drank anything with caffeine in it. I stopped drinking it from then on and only drinking squash and now only water.
To this day I can't even drink a small can of pop without having the stomach cramps, let alone coffee or energy drinks. Although my favourite drink is cream soda and I love iced coffee (although I can no longer by my favourite brand any more and so have stopped drinking it).
I also pretty much drink any kind of alcohol, even if I don't really like it. I can't stand the taste of alcopops but I'll still drink them if offered one. However I absolutely love brandy, neat vodka and wine, especially red.

| I went from not drinking any at all to drinking like...a bottle of soda a day or having some tea.
Coffee puts me to sleep though.
I'm trying to get back to where I was in high school, though, where I drink soda only on rare occasions and have water, milk, and juice the rest of the time.

Actually, yellow/white cheese has no lactose in it. Certain brands of butter don't either.
I'm lactose intolerant.
I can't drink milk at all. The more fluid-ish it is, the less I can have.
The amount of sugar counts too. Lactose is a carbohydrate, so if a dairy-product has less than 7g carbohydrates per 100g, I should be fine eating moderate doses.
As for the topic:
I used to drink soda everyday, I work at a small convenience-store. Then I gained a shitton of weight, and finally realised it had to stop.
Now I only drink maybe once a week, and only ONE bottle a day.
when I drink coke and eat at the same time, the coke makes the food I eat next taste like mold for some reason

| i used to drink coke like every day... buuuuut seeing as im a very fussy eater, i decided the easiest part of my diet to improve would be what i drink. so now i mostly just drink water or juice. my aim is to only ever drink fizzy when im out with friends and not drinking booze (cos they can screw off if they think im going to pay to drink water in a pub/club or something)
the biggest temptation with drinks is alcohol for me. unfortunately i greatly enjoy its effects, which makes the temptation worse, despite knowing im not supposed to drink it whilst on my medication, and despite knowing it ages the body faster and so on.
as for hot drinks, i think coffee tastes and smells disgusting, and i dont care for tea either, unless its green or peppermint, but even then i'll rarely drink it. im very fond of my hot chocolates when its cold though XD

| I find them awful, and should be banned. Then maybe the obesity rate would go down.
I only drink water, milk and freshly squeezed juice (juice that comes in cartons/plastic jug is just empty calories and sugar, just eat the real fruit if you want the taste that badly...). However, I am trying to squeeze in black coffee before my workouts, I heard it is healthy for you, and it helps you work 36% harder and longer.
