Right-o. Here's another boy for you all to play with (one with an even LONGER profile, again, my apologies) :

Name: Joshua Kingsley (Josh to most people his age or younger; Dr. Black probably calls him Joshua)
Sex: M
Age: 20
Faction: Guardians

Mutation(s): Joshua controls fire. He can spontaneously set alight any flammable material, can control the size, temperature, and movement of fires, and on a good day can also put them out. Josh can, in limited cases, transform fire into a solid, shield-like barrier or weapon. (He hasn't yet gotten the chance to experiment much with this element of his power.) Joshua's power is strong but difficult for him to control; as a result, he avoids using it unless he has to. Manipulating fire makes Josh incredibly tired, headachey, and often sick to his stomach. It also leaves his joints sore and his skin sensitive. In extreme cases, it can cause him physical damage such as burns. The usual effects can last for about a day up to 4 or 5 days depending on how much he used his power.

Description: Joshua is of average height and kind of skinny, about 5'8 and 160 lbs. He has brown hair that he keeps short, golden eyes, and large hands and feet. Josh has energy needs disproportionate to his size, due to an elevated body temperature of 115 degrees. As a result, he eats a lot but is unable to gain weight, much to his frustration. His body also gives off a lot of heat, the more so if he is angry or upset. Josh tries to wear fire-resistant clothes like polyester, and favors athletic shorts. He doesn't worry too much about clothes, because he doesn't really get cold.

Unsurprisingly for a fire element, Joshua tends to be cranky and less-than-social. He is easily aggravated and displays a fundamental contrariness. Most of his emotions, including happiness, are tinged with frustration. He is often mildly annoyed, but the instances in which he is legitimately angry are very, very rare because he (rightly) fears that he might lose control of his powers. It takes him a long time to warm up to new people, and he doesn't often show affection. When he has grown to care about someone, however, he will protect them fiercely. Joshua has an unbending moral compass and is very strong-willed. He pretty much does his own thing, regardless of what other people think.

Joshua actually kind of likes living at the base with other people (and especially mutants), but will never admit it.

Biography: Joshua grew up in an orphanage. Being without parents and a home never bothered him much. He didn't really miss the affection he might have gotten; he tended to be a loner anyways. Josh had no idea of his powers until, at the age of 6, some older kids were making fun of him and he threw a tantrum. Everything in the room that was flammable immediately burst into flames. Luckily, the fire was put out quickly and no one was hurt, but little Joshua had learned his lesson. Thereafter, he refused to be ruffled by anything, but at the same time began to develop his now-typical prickly exterior.

Eventually when Josh turned 18 he left the orphanage for good and traveled to the nearest guardian base, hoping he could be of use. That base just happened to be #1.

Other: Josh is very active and finds most physical activities amusing and not overly challenging. He prefers not to sit still and often goes out for a run in the morning so that he's not too twitchy during the day. Despite his energy, he's not hyperactive nor does he really like to talk.

Phew. Double post, in both this and the real Frisky and Bob. But I feel it's a better alternative than working with two chars in one post, especially since it's Josh's introduction... and we wouldn't want him to feel slighted. Really.

So, I hope my chars aren't too annoying yet... Dorian will get less aggravatingly needy at some point here, I promise. *sigh* I guess I didn't quite realize the depths of his angst... ah, well. Now I know.

I'm really looking forward to seeing how this develops... all of the chars are really interesting so far. I wonder what 's going to happen to them?

Unless you have some way of separating your characters (different posting colors and the like), it just gets confusing for everybody anyway.

And Dr. Black isn't nice. Or she wasn't, anyway... Less creepy than the other scientists of the first role-play, but meh

Mutation(s): Weak self healing, really strong healing

Description: Jade is 5'4" in height. She's got mousy brown straight hair that goes just beyond her shoulders. She's got pale skin, with a few scars from not very well done self healings. She has dark eyes. She normally wears a plain shirt and jeans, and refuses to wear skirts or dresses.
She is a very shy girl. She detests violence and intentional harm. Jade loves to read books and is often found in the library, though she's a dreamer and often forgetful.

Biography: Jade was not aware of her healing powers until she was ten. Her brother had an accident and was in the hospital. She and her parents went to visit him. They were there just in time to see as his heartbeat stopped. Jade instinctively started healing all his wounds, and his heart started working again, but he wasn't truly alive, like an empty shell, missing his spirit. He had forgotten everything, and would just lie there staring up at the ceiling.
Jade's parents became terrified of her after that. They never said so, but she could see through their actions and their rough behavior with her that they did not want her, a freak, a monster. No one ever mentioned the incident, especially since they were supposedly were part of the Protectors. So they claimed that she had died from an unknown illness while they secretly hushed her to one of the Guardians' bases. She hasn't heard from them since.

Okay, after all the distractions, (puppies, dogs, cat, Sims, etc.) I can't remember any of the names I had for the roleplay. However, 'The Age of Change' popped into my head a couple minutes ago. There was another idea, but it sounded too much like a fantasy name, when we're obviously part of a sci-fi game. *Shrugs*
