Newbie gifts generally are a donation of 250 silver, a volleyball, and five weak health potions, just to get you started. The other items were mentioned in case Maeve wants to do a raffle or something crazy go nuts like that. So the option is open, but it's not going to happen very often.

If you would like to request a newbie gift, I'd happy to give you one.

Sorry, but I'm assuming you are a mule from EmberWest, and we don't give newbie gift to mule. We just have limited resources, you see.
