A Big Hello

Hello everyone, I'm 17 and from England. I am also male which appears to be a rare breed around here.

This is my first avatar site which I stumbled across by seeing some of catghost's art on PixelJoint. I'm not currently active on any sites so unfortunately we can only talk here. The art is amazing and the community looks to be really fun, kind and active - I look forward to becoming a part of it.

I enjoy being creative by drawing and writing in my spare time, although I've haven't been able to do either for a very long time and as such I've pretty much lost all of my previous skills and talents. I'm really hoping to kick start my creativity again and feel that Midorea and it's community will be a big part of it. I would like to develop my roleplaying skills better as I believe this will help improve my writing. I also read books a lot, play computer games and watch anime. So feel free to talk about your favourite titles with me.

I am currently studying to work within the computing industry and hope to become a games designer and programmer / animator. I will be starting my final year in college in September and hopefully be going to university after that to further develop my skills, maybe as an AI programmer. My dream job would be an artist / author; drawing manga, designing games, making animated movies and writing novels - basically combining stroytelling with visual stimulation.

Well in all my time on this site, that sure is the longest introduction of one's self I have ever seen. Although, I have not been here for that long, and my memory may not be the greatest...

I guess I am a bit long-winded, but from what I have seen from others is that many of the people here are quite creative and everyone is very supportive. I suppose that I felt by telling everyone my hobbies and goals would help me meet people that feel the same way as I do as well as feel encouraged somewhat. I do think I may have wrote a bit of a sob story and were looking for a bit of sympathy though with that author's block etc.

I prefer longer introduction. I understand when people just say there name and something about being new, but it's easier to get to know someone if they describe themselves a bit first.
