"Yes... I am similar, but not quite the same," he said with a solemn nod. It was obvious that made him upset and it was a touchy subject to him. He then completely came out from behind the bush, turning his body slightly to look up at his hut. He was turned to the side, the stubs on his back plainly visible now and they were obvious since they stuck out about three or four inches on each side with jagged edges from his mother's unsteady hand...

"If you desire to rest then... I will allow you to rest in my home if you so desire it," he said and waved his hand towards his hut. It was small, but he didn't mind allowing her to stay there for a little, if she just wanted to rest... He could tell she meant him no harm, but he was still rather cautious and wary... If anything, he was envious of her though because he was sure she actually had a dragon form unlike him... His was snatched away so very harshly from him, so he had something trapped inside of him that would never get out... It even caused his pain sometimes...

"Emmet is the name that was given to me by my human mother," he whispered out to her, shaking his head at the mention of his mother. He then jumped up the side of the mountain some, only about two feet above where he was before. He was on the same level as his hut now, figuring she would take his offer of staying in his home for her resting time.

She saw the stubs almost immediately after he had turned. She studied them for a while but it didn't take her long to figure out that something had happened to him. That something had cut those off and those scars of his didn't seem like normal scars either. She had questions, but she knew better than to be nosy. Especially when it was obvious that the subject was extremely touchy for him.

But even she would slip eventually. She watched him before smiling softly. "That is very kind of you. I will have to take you up on your offer." She followed after him, looking around before glancing back at the stubs on him. "...Do they hurt?" She asked quietly, obviously referring to his stubs but it might have been vague.

"It's okay if you don't want to answer. I understand that this and what we were discussing before was a touchy subject. It's also a pleasure to meet you, Emmet." She said, bowing again before waiting for him to lead the way to his hut even though she had an inkling of where it was.

Silently pleased that she trusted him enough to take him up on his offer, he then began to walk forward slowly, his eyes set on his hut. He didn't see the need for her to rest out here in the dirt as it was, when he had a perfectly good hut with a chair and a bed in it. He also had a tub with working water, so that would be good if she desired a bath. He could leave if she wanted that because he didn't want to invade her privacy. Stretching his shoulders out lightly, he inced inwardly at the feeling of the stubs attempting to stretch out as well.

Stumbling a little when she asked if they hurt, he assumed she meant the oddities on his back or the scars on his skin. Either would be a yes... "They do," he said with a nod and then he listened to what she had to say after that, shrugging his shoulders lightly. He wasn't sure how to react to all of this still and it was confusing him so some extent, only not nearly as bad as before. He let out a soft sigh and then looked back up, beginning to walk back towards his hut.

Getting there, he opened the door and stepped inside, looking around to make sure it was at least a little tidy. He was pleased to see that it was... Then again, he didn't really care because he didn't intend on having her here for too terribly long. He didn't want to make that obvious though because he remembered reading in a book that it was rude to let someone know you wanted them to leave your dwelling...

Ren looked sympathetic but she said nothing more. Instead, she stepped into the hut once they reached it. It was certainly a cute little abode. "Where exactly do you want me to rest?" She asked, glancing between the floor, bed, and chair. She didn't mind as long as she got a little shut eye. She hadn't gotten much sleep the night before because she had been having some nightmares.

In truth, nightmares were quite rare when it came to Ren. She was normally a pleasant girl with pleasant dreams. She tried her hardest to avoid blood shed but she had seen it before. Even when she killed during hunting, she sent a prayer to whatever deity would listen and apologized to the creature before she killed it. She hated taking the life of anything but knew that sometimes it was necessary to survive. She certainly was a strange and interesting young dragon demoness.

She looked at him, patiently waiting for him to answer it even though her body longed to lay down on the soft looking bed and pass out. She was beyond exhausted and she hadn't been eating much.

Watching her walk into his home, he was rather confused. She seemed to be so different from any of the people he was used to... Then again, she wasn't a human so that really made sense to him but he couldn't help that he was surprised and very, very wary. He wouldn't take his eyes off of her because he didn't trust her yet... That was understandable as well. He wasn't used to being around anyone besides the animals, so he didn't enjoy the thought of someone being in his home too terrible much.

Though, he would deal with it for a little while if it helped a maiden on her quest to simply find her brothers. Those two must be a handful if even she cannot catch them. That was too bad and it made him a little sad, actually. It mainly made him sad because he was not allowed to have siblings... He probably had half siblings from his father though and they would more than likely be full demon... He couldn't see his father sleeping with another human after what happened with him.

"You may rest wherever you wish. I do not mind," he said and waved his hand to the bed. That would obviously be the ideal choice... It was the ideal choice for him, so it made sense that she would want to rest there as well.

Ren looked around the small home before she made her way to the bed. She sat down upon it and slipped out of her shoes and placed her bag on the ground. "Thank you." She then rewarded him with a smile before laying down to sleep. She was tired, but it would take some time for her to fall asleep.

She laid there for a good while, eyes closed until finally her breathing evened out as she fell asleep. She looked rather peaceful and innocent as she slept. She seemed like she wouldn't hurt a fly unless she absolutely had to.
