Description: Melwe is naturally fair-skinned, with a spatter of freckles across her nose. Her eyes are jade green, fringed with thick dark lashes. She wears smudged black liner to draw more attention to them. Her dyed black hair is shoulder length and choppily cut, usually swept back from her face with a bit of tied ribbon. She usually accents her thin, muscular frame with a white blouse with a black cincher over it, a black pleated skirt, and black heeled boots.
In terms of personality, she is usually rather bright and cheerful, but has a snarky side to her. Though her parents often used their skillful sleight-of-hand tricks for petty thievery, Melwe grew up wanting to earn her way through life in a more fair fashion, feeling bad for every ill-obtained copper spent. She has gained some mild popularity with the locals as one of the few street performers who is not out to pick your pocket while your attention is occupied. However when a customer suspects trouble, Melwe is often in over her head, as the sacrifice for being so dextrous is that she is not very strong at all, so if someone ever manages to grab her, or catch her unaware, she is all but helpless.
Biography: Melwe grew up in a slums outside of the Gated City with her parents, who would often put food on the table by having her mother perform tricks while her father stole the purses of the audience. At the age of three they began to teach her to perform and pickpocket, and soon they would send her out into the audience instead, as the small girl was far less suspicious.
