It only took about five minutes to walk from HQ to the place. Nickolai smiled as he stepped through the doors, hearing the familiar and yet welcoming jingle of the bell over the door.
Thankfully, that was one of the things that hadn't changed in most places... There were still random bells over doors to let people know they had another customer.
As soon as the bell sounded, a waitress was quickly in front of them with a broad smile on her face. "Two, is it?" she asked with a cheer disposition.
"Yes, please," he said and nodded his head. When she asked if he had any preference of seating, he shook his head and they were lead to a booth on the side.
Menus were laid down in front of them and she asked what they wanted to drink.
"I'll have sweet tea with lemon," Nickolai said as he opened the menu, regardless of the fact that he already knew what he wanted.

| The small resturaunt was nice and cozy, not the usual kind of place that Skye would be at, but she thought it was nice.
She took her seat across from Nick and ordered a glass of water, then she took her menu and began searching through it for something that looked good.
"I haven't had a real breakfast in a while... it's always such a rush with my duties and all," she explained to him.
"So, if you come here often, what's good?" she asked him after setting down her menu and messing with a loose thread on her left armwarmer.
