ugghhhh jeez i cant deal with people like that haha. theres so many pretentious little shits like that at my college and in my town (different places lol) it drives me insane. i dont want anything to do with those sorta people, theyre just losers in my opinion. theres being cofident and then theres being just... a tosser. hahaha.

hehe thanks. im gonna need it, since at the moment playing basketball and walking across town are my ways to exercise, and in london... im gonna be tubing & bussing it everywhere and its highly unlikely im gonna have a garden with a basketball hoop XD

haha ;D british slang is great. tho i also use american words instead of british words sometimes. especially "pants". i constantly refer to my trousers/jeans as pants and people think im talking about my underwear XD the looks i get are so funny heehee...

haha! Paris Hilton... she makes me chuckle. very strange celebrity. did the girls on her show have a lot of different accents? cos people from different parts of britain sound completely different o_o;;

Honestly I wouldn't know what kind of slang we have that isn't universally recognized, only because I've grown up around it. xP

haha, true. i think its easier to be more aware of what slang is "ours" over here because we're exposed to so much american media that you can easily see the differences.

i never had to talk to my mum about it. i just went to the doctor and was like THIS PMT IS DESTROYING MY LIFE, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT

@ecco: Yeah, I've been needing to ask her, but she's been all depressed and stressed out lately. She started talking about how her birth control was fucking up her period and I was like, "Oh, yeah, speaking of which..."

And I want my mom to know about that type of thing. Sam and I respect her too much to go running behind her back every chance we get. And I don't want to upset her by getting knocked up because of a broken condom. Yeah, we didn't tell anyone about it for about six months, but I was still getting used to it all. Talking about it made me really uncomfortable for a while. Now I'm fine, so I told my mom so that she knows that we don't do anything disrespectfully. He and I don't do a thing when anyone's home.

I know... I'm really stupid. ><; For having sex and telling my mom in the first place. But I don't really care about how "stupid" it seems; it's my life. It's not like I'm being an idiot with it. I'd like to think that I'm being mature; you all can look at it however you'd like.

my mum is incredibely liberal, i'm lucky like that. she figured out for herself that i was bound to have started having sex so she just came and told me one day "theres a basket of condoms in the bathroom, help yourself" XD

we talk very freely about sex and stuff like that. not like alot, but in the sense that if i needed to ask her anything i know it'd be ok

i think its good that you told your mum, since you feel that way ^^ i know a lot of people have the same views with the sex & respect thing.

Haha, I wouldn't want to talk with my mom about sex casually. We're fine having our occasional awkward conversations and leaving it at that.

But yeah, my mom is fairly liberal, if you can call it that. She doesn't ask questions, doesn't make assumptions and ends the subject quickly whenever it does come up. She doesn't LIKE that I'm not a virgin, but she knows that there's really nothing that she can do about it now. It does bother her to know that I'm getting that much closer to growing up though.

Really? Most of my friends say, "Fuck my parents, I did it on the kitchen table." or "I'd never let them know, period. I'd rather get pregnant and run off."

I hope it's okay that I'm stepping into your conversation, you said you've told your mom your and your boyfriend are sexually active, right? I think, as a young adult, that was an incredibly bold and honest move. So many people do things for the thrill, because getting caught is an adrenaline rush.

And on the note of birth control, I think it's a Godsend. I need to talk to my doctor about being placed back on it. I have terrible back pains and headaches and the nitty gritty details are even worse when I'm not on it. ;n;
