| Rocket launchers are worse than guns, in my opinion. Machetes, however are a good tool to have. I have a couple lying around the house somewhere. However, a kukri, is just a step higher on the scale of useful tools to have in a zombie apocalypse. At least on my list.

| Oh come on...a rocket launcher is only loud around those it's headed toward and is an instant incendiary for what...a 20-30 feet radius?
I love machetes. We were clearing a campsite for my medieval club (SCA) and the roots would not pull, so I dug around them and hacked away when all the guys were stumped as to what to do. It was awesome.

Serious headshot damage without the noise. ;DD

| A lot of that blast is shock wave. If the bodies aren't completely disintegrated, or the brains completely destroyed, you still have a menace on hand. Ankle biters, perhaps, but still as lethal as the shambling abominations. And those are not something you want to trip over in the middle of the night, or worse, in a field of tall grass.
And they and their ammunition are insanely heavy. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not lug around hundreds of pounds of stuff that I'm only going to get a max of four, or five shots out of. Especially if I need to carry other things that are going to help me get through a zombie infested town.
As for sniper rifles. It only seems like there isn't any sound coming from there because you're so bloody far away when you shoot that the sound doesn't travel to the location of your target. And if that's the case, you might as well leave it alone. It's too far away to give you any trouble.

| Yes but what if one has the craving to kill some evil braineaters? U:
Might as well take up location on a roof somewhere and start shooting.

| Lawl, who walks through a field of tall grass when there's zombies about anyway? A bridge is the place to be, if you ask me or a solid room with only one door and no windows, windows are fail during an invasion.

| I can see the reasoning behind your locations. However, if the invasion last more than a few weeks, even months, you're going to have a hard time surviving if you don't find a way to replentish your supplies. You can't grow crops on most bridges. And if you get trapped in either of those two places, there's really nothing you can do besides blow your brains out so that you don't come back as a zombie.

| Hmmm true...potted plants? *grins* That's why you find a base like that, and then make recon missions once in a while *nods* find magazines and extra ammo...gah...*wishes she had a zombie game to play right now*
Question, I heard there were quests on Midorea, where can they be found?

| There are currently no quests available. However, there should be an even in the near future that should have quests. I don't honestly know when, though. I'm not one of the awesome people that are privy to that information.
And how long will potted plants last you? Even if you had a lot on hand, you'd still run into a few problems.
I know, these sound like horrible places to be, but I highly suggest on of these areas to camp out in during an apocalypse; a jail, a cemetary, a boat, or an island.

| Well, a boat or an island yes...but a cemetery, are you kidding? And I dunno if I'd want to be in a jail...if the power goes out...*shudders*
Pots can grow veggies in them and seeds can be replanted. But yeah...most often there aren't any islands around during a zombie invasion which most often happens in rural towns or cities XD usually >.> and you couldn't be on a boat for long either...and not much shelter against the elements.

| Not at all. I'm totally serious about the cemetary comment. With the exception of the bodies in the morgue or in a crypt, there is no safer place to be. There are lage fields of land that can be used for farming. They're usually surrounded by large walls of heavy duty, crash into them with your car and it won't damage them, metal fencing.
You need not worry about zombies rising from the earth. It's physically impossible for a living person. And seeing that zombies have no more strength than the person that died, the likelyhood of them even breaking out of their coffins isn't very high. Not only that, but most of the bodies that interred in the earth are too far decayed to be reanimated.
Jails are meant to be sturdy. Otherwise criminals would be breaking out of them left an right. They basically are miniature cities. And most include back up generators. As long as you know or someone in your group knows how to keep them working.

| Okay, I hear you about the cemetery...stupid inconsistent zombie movies. But the jail would still creep me out too much. I've seen scary movies in prisons...no thanks.
A high rise would be cool, because then you could hope for air lift rescue...
