And I'll have to ponder a bit on that new one.

| The point of this week's question is imagination!
Get creative! Find the world you have been dreaming to escape to!
But that doesn't mean everything's happy and that there's no evil and all that.
Your 'perfect' story must have some flaws, m'kay?

| Okey! Answer to this week's question...I hope.
I think if there was a perfect story for me it would be the main character and his/her friends that would make it a awesome story. Also maybe a creative or original idea that the story circles around.
Usually....I like male characters...cause I like fantasizing (it's true!) but a heroine is always real welcome I guess. I just usually prefer a male protagonist. I really like stories where the protagonist starts out small or passive but ends up learning things and becoming either more self aware or powerful. Maybe both. And when the main protagonist has good friends and supporting characters, it's always a good addition. A supporting character that's maybe kind of quirky and says things that make you think or a really down to earth person that you could relate to. As for a plot or idea for the story, that's for the author to figure out, not me.

| Padfeets- *Highfives* I found it really hard to read those books after watching the movie because the book has a lot of extra bits I guess and I felt impatient trying to read those parts. IT WAS A STRUGGLE. 8U

| Don't kill me, but... I had a hard time with the books, and the movies for me were only a little better. They were a GREAT excuse to get out of the house during the Superbowl, though.

| Haha. Nice excuse. The movies are awesome, especially how they did the war and fight scenes. They were so good and the graphics and effects were cool too.

| Book Update ::
Now Reading ~ Oddly Enough Bruce Coville
Just Read ~ I am Morgan le Fay Nancy Springer
Going to Read Next ~ Shadowmaker Joan Lowery Nixon
:: Annoucement ::
Now, I know that a week has already passed for the latest question, 'In your opinion, what would be the perfect book for you?'.
Well, I decided to change that question since it proved to be a very difficult question to answer...
So, here's the new question!
What book have you read changed your outlook on life?
For me, it would be I am Morgan le Fay by Nancy Springer. The book totally sucked me in, living the sorceress' life. It told me that love is difficult and rather heartbreaking for others.

| Ana- Morgan le Fay as in the Morgan from the Arthur legends and stuff?
And I don't really have an answer to this week's question. 8| Either a book hasn't really changed my outlook or it has and I forgot about it.

| @Chere :: Yeah. Morgan from the Arthur legends...
Quote: |
The equally suspenseful follow-up to Springer's I Am Mordred again reinterprets Arthurian legend through the eyes of an archetypal villain, this time sorceress Morgan le Fay. In stylish prose, Morgan narrates her transformation from a willful, neglected child to a complex young woman who ends up embracing the ugly destiny she has always resisted: "I was the one who would bring down King Arthur.... Damn my fate and damn my future." As a six-year-old child she witnesses an act that she would only later come to understand: King Uther Pendragon, driven by lust for Morgan's mother, murders the Duke of Cornwall (Morgan's father) and, aided by Merlin's magic, disguises himself as the Duke in order to enter his widow's bedchambers. The future King Arthur would be their yield. Thus, Morgan's filial jealousy and her fate as one of the "fey" or fairy realm (her mismatched eyes are a tip-off) lead to her dark deeds. Though she is not always likable, Morgan's power is seductive, and readers will at times summon sympathy for her and her plight. Springer parcels out plenty of magic and adventure to keep fantasy readers hooked. Some parts of the story may be challenging to those unfamiliar with Camelot, but for fans of The Sword in the Stone and other Round Table retellings, Morgan's side of the story will prove engrossing and thought-provoking. |
