| Malphas nodded towards Toni, doing his best not to draw attention to herself. He looked around the cafeteria as he sipped his lemonade. That was just a friendly greeting. He was getting paranoid, is all. He had about two hundred dollars in his room, and wasn't ready to leave this place quite yet. He was really starting to like being in the mountains.
Meanwhile, Tomas was outside with a large pushbroom, cleaning off all the various pollens and seeds that collected on the main walk. It had been a few days since she had done this, and it showed. No other weirdnesses happened since talking to Toni, and she was glad. Since the Malphas incident, she was a little more aware and on guard. She didn't want any more of those Nightmare guys coming here.

| Toni did her best not to stare at either one of the other Dreamers. But from her observations, it seemed that Stella was under the weather. And with the sky looking as dreary as it did, it might be a good idea if the other girl stayed in the lodge for a bit. Or, at the very least, she'd need to stay under cover, out of the elements. No need for her to get any sicker.
Malphas wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary. But that was to be expected. He could hardly do anything in a somewhat public area. Well, he probably could, if he had some crazy telekinetic powers. But no one was that stupid, right? No, there were plenty of stupid people out there. But Mal didn't seem like one of them.
The Dreamer slowly drank her water, as she stared out the window. She might need to skip on flying today. Last thing she needed was to get caught in a storm. Or struck by lightning. Tempting fate might be fun, but there was no reason to be stupid. Though, later, she could totally wander around in wolf form.

| Stella grabbed her bottles of water and headed for the main exit of the lodge. She didn't want to wait too much before getting back to her campsite, and she didn't see any good reason to change her mind. She walked slowly down the hall, thinking about what she would do in the upcoming days. Hopefully a good rest tonight would make her feel better and she would be able to restart training soon.
As she passed in front of a window, the girl turned her head and noticed how dark it was getting. The sky was covered by thick grey clouds and a strong wind was starting to blows, announcing a soon-to-come storm. Damn it, the girl thought as she hurried to get to the exit. She reached the entrance hall just in time to see a young family enter the lodge, all wet by the rain that had just started.
Stella stopped in her track and smiled at them as they passed near her. Now, she could risk going out and running to her camp, or she could wait and hope things calm down. Her tent was water proof, and the trees around provided a good cover against the elements anyway. She also had a warm blanket and sleeping bag, so she could easily pass the night outside without problem. The only thing was the path leading to the campsites, which wasn't covered for the most part. And waiting... well, there was no telling when this would stop. She could always rent a room for the night at the lodge, if they had any.
With an annoyed sigh, Stella sat down in one of the chairs in the lobby. She checked the clock on the opposite wall. I'll wait ten minutes and see how thing goes. If it doesn't change, I won't really have the choice to stay here... she thought to herself. She placed her bottles of water on a small side table and looked through the windows, hoping that everybody outside could have made it to a safe spot before the storm started.

| Trent didn't know wether or not he ought to be purturbed or amused by the storm. The announcement of his arrival but way of violent rains was fitting for any nightmarish creature. However, it still meant that he was walking through the rain to get to the lodge. And he would need to walk back to his car to get his things. He parked his car in the closest available space to the main entryway, that wasn't reserved for handicapped people. He might not like the Norms, but that was no reason to be a complete jerk.
He grabbed one of his duffle bags, with his more improtant items and walked up the main path. He saw the busy lodge worker slightly pleased at the girls' work ethic. Trent gave the girl a once over, needing to remind himself that he still had some meat left in his freezer back home. "Good day," he greeted as he walked past.
The Nightmare ran his hand through his hair once inside, trying to straighten the now unruly mess. There were few people inside, a couple people in the eating area, a few people sitting in the foyer, and a family that was currently checking in. He waited behind them, his eyes wandering toward the individuals, wondering.

| Tomas nodded in recognition to the man's voice, but as he walked into the lodge she did a double take. She sensed something odd about him, even though he looked quite normal. She couldn't shake the feeling that somebody else that is somewhat unusual had walked into the lodge, and by means of that, her life.
"Great... not more investigating..." She groaned. Once again, she'd keep an eye on the person. Hopefully, her intuition would be incorrect and he'd just be a normal guy. That's what she wanted, anyways.

| Toni looked up at the man that entered, thinking little of the mans' entrance. Though, it seemed that he had picked a horrible time to arrive. The rain outside was getting stronger. She was going to need to trek through the elements to get back to her tent. She moved to a seat that was positioned closer to a window, to watch the falling rain.
Meanwhile, Trent had finally made it to the counter. He nodded politely to the elderly lady behind the counter. She was far too old for his tastes. Though some of the other people in the foyer looked appealing. He turned his attention completely on the lodge's co-owner. "Yes, my name is Trent Malcoms. I called last week to put in a reservation," he introduced himself.
Edna went over her roster list of reservations. There were few names outside of the geology class that was soon to leave. "Ah, there you are, Mr. Malcoms. I see you made no preference as to where you were staying. Have you decided on where you would like to stay while you are here?"
Trent nodded. "I hadn't expected the weather to turn like this. So, if it is not too much trouble, I would prefer a lodge room."
The elderly woman nodded. They finished with the paperwork before he was given a key to a room at the end of the hall. He politely thanked the woman before walking off. He deposited his things in his room and returned to his car for the rest of his things. She shot another set of glances at the other partons as well as the young lodge worker, while he passed them by.

| Stella watched as the man pass in front of her, not really caring about him. Her sight was fixed on a nearby window, trying to find the slightest sign that the storm was passing. Uh, no luck, she thought as a strong wind pushed some raindrops into the window. Apparently she would need to stay at the lodge, even if she didn't liked it much. She turned her attention to the clock. The ten minutes she had given herself were running short... I could as well wait another ten minutes and see, she pondered, really not enchanted at the idea of staying at the lodge. It looked fine, but she preferred being in the comfort of her tent, even if it would be very little comfort by a stormy night. She sighed and grabbed a touristic magazine describing the region, figuring she could always pass her time by reading while she waited.

| Trent retrieved the last of his belongings from the trunk of his vehicle just as the wind picked up. Heavy raindrops soaked through his garments with more speed than he was considering giving the weather credit for. He grumbled to himself as he passed the young lodge worker for the last time. "While I appreciate your work ethic," he said. "You won't be doing yourself any favors when you get yourself sick. Besides, you're fighting a loosing battle. The elements are already covering your progress."
He left the girl to ponder his words as he tromped to the building. Hopefully, she would see some sense and move inside. It would be a shame if such a specimen was struck down by something so common as a cold. No, he shouldn't think like that. He wouldn't be staying long enough to merit a hunt. Well, not any hunt that he intended on finishing the spoils. The thought caused him to grin.
He was careful to wipe his shoes in the appropriate place, before moving down the hall to his room. Perhaps a shower was in order, before an early dinner.
In the meantime, Toni wondered if she ought to wait out the storm. Or should she return to her tent? Both were reasonable ideas, but the thought of tracking water into her humble abode was not appealing. If worse came to worse, she could always make a shield with her Dreamscape abilities once she was out of sight of the building. No, that was a stupid idea. She had already been caught turning into a wolf. No need to make things worse. Right.

| Tomas looked up as the man spoke to her, and when he went inside, she finished up the spot she was working on and walked inside herself, feeling the raindrops hit her shoulders. She went over to the closet and put the pushbroom away. She looked around the lobby and eating area to see who was around. Malphas was there, as well as Toni. She walked over to her.
"So... did you see the new guy?" She asked, looking around to make sure nobody was eavesdropping. "He's kinda creepy, don't you think?"

| Toni looked away from the window she was staring out of. She sat so that she could have a decent conversation with Tomas. To be honest, she hadn't noticed much about the new visitor. But then, she hadn't been paying very much attention. She gave her friend a sheepish grin. "I didn't really pay much attention to him," the Dreamer admitted.
She looked at the man in question, who seemed to be lugging his things down the hall and into a room. Her tone was conversational, if not a bit low. "He might seem a bit out of place, but he's certainly not the strangest person here. What's wrong? Did you get one of those strange vibes off him?"

| Tomas nodded. "Yeah... a little bit. He just passed me by a few times, though. Nothing to get a really good reading of him off of, though." She shrugged. Lately, Tomas had been having a lot of gut feelings. More than usual, and not in the "Don't date that guy" kind of way. These were some strange feelings. And if there was one thing Tomas always did, it was trust her feelings. They were almost always right.
"I got one thing, though. He is definately not normal. I don't know if it's the..." she looked around to make sure nobody was listening, "...'weird powers' sort of strange, or a socially not normal strange, but it's definately strange."

| This was getting crazy. Toni sighed heavily. Her voice held more nervousness than her body language did. There was no reason to call any more attention to themselves. "I don't like this. I don't like this at all. This kind of thing is unheard of. Why here, of all places? We're out in the middle of nowhere." She shook her head before she made herself more upset that she already was.
"Alright," the Dreamer huffed. "It looks like you have another one on your hands. If it makes you feel better, I can probably stick around the lodge. But that would look suspicious, wouldn't it?"

| Stella sighed. Ten minutes have passed, and the rain was still pouring down. She reached a hand in her pocket and grabbed her wallet, looking at how much money she still have. Enough for a room, I think, she said as she looked inside. She looked out the window one more time. Sure, she could have run, or maybe... Maybe I could use some shield like the other day? she pondered. However, she soon chase that idea from her mind. It would look weird if anybody saw her, and she had gotten sick while playing with water. Chances were it wouldn't work better this time and she would end up wet once more.
The blond sighed once more as she got up, placing the magazine she was holding on a nearby table and heading for the counter. A few people were finishing some business, so Stella took a place in the line and waited for her turn to come. She looked outside and hoped her things would be safe in the storm.

| A movement caught the Dreamers' eye. Toni paused for a moment, to look over at the other Dreamers. Stella was on her way to the desk. The other female Dreamer hadn't done anything creepy, nor did she give of the wierd vibe the Nightmares gave off. Tomas would have noticed that. Right?
"Hold that though for a second," she excused herself from Tomas's company. If Stella was just a Dreamer, she needed to know that there were less than friendly sorts about. If she was playing for the other side, well, Toni figured she'd deal with it. She hesitated for a moment when she reached out to get the Stellas' attention.
Oh man. What am I doing? I must be insane! It's bad enough I told a Norm about what's going on. Now Tomas's going to be dragged into this mess. But here I am, going to blow my cover with a Dreamer I don't even know? Toni inhaled deeply, and sighed heavily. Too late to back out now. She looked to make sure no one was close enough to overhear before speaking.
"Hey, Stella," she said in a low but conversational tone. She waited until she had the other woman's attention before continuing. "I know it's not really my business, but, it would be a good idea if you were a bit more discreet with your abilities. We're not the ony ones here, and the others don't seem the sort to be making friends."
That was informative, but cryptic, right?
Trent felt better after having showered. He looked at his room as he toweled off his hair. Everything seemed to be in order. His clothing was stored in the proper places, as well as his mostly empty bags. He had brought a couple books, just in case the weather turned the way it had when he arrived.
He hung his used towel over the side of his shower, deciding that an early dinner was in order. The drive had been long, and tiring. He needed to get his energy back up. For what, he did not know. But he might as well pretend that he was here to enjoy himself. In truth, that was why he chose this location. It was away from the mass majority of people that he saw day to day.
In a handful of minutes, Trent was dressed and heading out of his room, into the hall. He eyed the sparse number of patrons as he casually walked, book in hand, to the dining area. Pickings were slim, but that's what happened when one decided to vacation during the slow season.
He ordered a bowl of a thick hearty soup, and a side sandwich. They ought to tide him over for the evening. They might not have been what he was craving, but he could tell that the meal would not disappoint. He took his dished to an empty table, where he could eat in peace, with his book.
