| Lol I thought maybe. how long you been playing this thing?
Im on level three having hard time with level three earth dragon. Ive beaten it by the skin of my teeth twice it took two low health postions and spartian sword with volleyball combinations. My sword is out now.
Should I forage it or buy something else?
What do I do with all the volleyballs cloging my inventory that have 1 duration on them?

| The baby earth dragons might be too much for you, I would say run away from those.
Level 1-10 can be really tough and can take anywhere from 4-8 days maybe from 1 to 10.. Depending on how many hours you can spend working on your character.
I spent a great deal of time on mine, I started him on Dec 09 and been on and off again over the last 7 months... It takes a very long time...for me it takes about an hour to gain 1k exp. So if I spent 2-4 hours I can earn about 1/5 of my needed exp for my current level. (About 26k exp is required now)
Each class is different though. The magic users (Priest, Wizade/mage and druid) don't need as much as the Monk/Paladin/Knight, which requires the highest amount of experience to my knowledge.
I play a Assassin now, it has amazing level up stats and requires about medium amount of exp compared to the other classes.
Now for your weapon, it depends on the power level. Anything with 1 power isn't worth reforging and can be deleted, unless its an event items. The best/cheapest sword is the Tenro. Its very strong and only costs about 2k. Its the only weapon worth buying early on. The other weapons with elemental properties are for more advanced players who like to take advantage of enemy weakness to kill them quicker while grinding. The cost a pretty penny though, so go for the Tenro first.
Volleyballs can be deleted once they go flat, always have a stock of them though. No point in wasting a better weapons duration on a enemy with only 1-10 HP later on.
At my strength the volleyball can do about 17 damage so it can actually take out the weaker monsters now...with my best weapon doing about 28-29(i forget which) per strike.
Buy the tenro then a super hammer and a few volleyballs and you should be ready to go. The Tenro can pay for itself within a few hours.

| You want my honest opinion?
I would get the Tenro, its got great power (9) which even at a low level can take out a lvl 1-8 monster in a few turns and its not too expensive..
For your classes, I would say become a rogue, it has great early stat gains and be promoted to a Hunter and then the beastly Assassin.
A bard is mix class but it becomes a Druid later on. Its low Armor gain makes it a squishy caster class. Not very cost effective for a new player.
These are the stats you gain per level for each class and its promotion:
Bard
HP: 5
MP: 2
AP: 2
Druid Stats
HP: 5
MP: 6
AP: 2
------
Rogue
HP: 5
MP: 5
AP: 2
Hunter
HP: 8
MP: 6
AP: 5
Assassin
HP: 11
MP: 8
AP: 5
--------
Monk
HP: 5
MP: 3
AP: 2
Paladin
HP: 8
MP: 4
AP: 2
Knight
HP: 5
MP: 4
AP: 5
I have a few more classes but not all of their promotions since I had to gather this information the old fashion way and its very expensive to switch classes and promote and pay to raise a stat needed to gain the next promotion.
As you can see though, the Rogue/Hunter/Assassin is clearly the best for overall stats. The Knight has good stats too but not as much MP. The Paladin has better HP but less armor. The Hunter promotion is a great class to linger in till you reach the point to become an assassin. I played a Barbare (Which I didn't include but is the promotion class of the Fighter) and then a Knight till about lvl 30. Then I discovered the Assassin and never looked back.

| Well I believe so but it doesn't offer that much more then the volleyball. You can check the Blacksmith store under the Shops tab and take a gander. The power lvl and the duration is what you should focus on...

| I've been wondering this for a while, and maybe Branny could confirm, but wouldn't some event weapon be as good (or close) to the tenro and cost a bit less?
Of course, you'll need to find someone selling them in the marketplace, but some weapons, like the Heimweh Segithoz from last winter, have 8 power and 60 duration. The Demonias Segithos has only 6 power, but judging from how many people got during the Halloween event (I have 15, could have gotten 35 more if I had exchange my ghosts in time), it's pretty easy to find and shouldn't cost to much either.

| Well yeah, alot of event weapons are amazing considering their strength and durations. I didn't mention them because I figured it would be easier for a newbie to pick up the tenro, since there isn't any event currently (Not till the summer event anyways).
Actually, the strongest weapon is a event item; Steoraa Ventus. It has 13 power and I forget the duration without checking. Mine two actually have 30 now because I repair it once it reaches 9. I have a high forging level so it helps make it even more beastly.
But yes, event weapons are very useful if you can find someone selling them.
Events are always great times to join Midorea! ^_^
