| ((Well, welcome back anyway^^ ))
Millenia flew right back home. Furiously she paced through the balcony and it took her quite a while to notice a letter placed on the table near the entrance to her rooms.
"What's this...?" she approached the table and took the letter. It was sealed with the seal of the high chancellor. The competition, she almost forgot it... She opened the letter and read the message inside.
"A mission briefing at the palace, huh?"
She wasn't sure how she should act around Seth now, but what the heck, she'll just pretend that nothing happened and it'll be okay, right?
With that thought she went to bed and tossed throughout the night without getting any sleep at all. The time they were supposed to assemble grew near and she got up.

| When Seth had made it home, he noticed the sealed letter sitting on top of his prized collection of "Naughty Demonettes". Opening it up without regard for whom sent it, he cursed out loud. The mission briefing was in the morning and all demons entered into the foray. He knew this meant he would have to be close to the one who struck him. The one who called him an idiot for not dodging the attack. The one that for some odd reason was making him question his sanity on how he felt about her.
"Dammit!" He scowled, as he took his clothes off and got into the shower. As the burning hot water washed away the blood, he let his mind wander to what Nia could be doing. He was curious how she was and what tomorrow morning will be like at the briefing. When he was done, he dried off and slipped on a pair of boxers. Laying his head down on the pillow, he passed out and when the alarm, a small winged demon that enjoyed waking the neighborhood up with its screams every morning, went off Seth got up.

| Millenia looked herself up at the mirror. Decent. she decided and took of from her balcony. On her way she could see a lot of winged demons heading the same way as she was. Her thoughts randomly turned to Seth... But every time she shook them off.
Gracefully descending in front of the gate, she made her way through the crowd and towards the appointed room. It was locked so she figured she got there early. The hall was relatively empty as well apart from a couple of guards here and there.
She sighed and leaned against one of the many columns.

| Tossing on a black denim button down shirt and matching jeans, Seth made his way to the palace. As he passed by the alarm clock, he slung a rock and hit the demon dead on. Chuckling as he heard the demon bawling its eyes out, he saw that most demons were crowding the streets to make their was there. Frowning as he had noticed Nia standing next to a pillar and some male demons inching closer to her, he magically pulled out a pair of shades and put them on.
"Excuse me..." A voice called out from behind him, causing him to turn around. It was the same demon woman that he tried to protect Nia from, the one who was in the club. "You... smell familiar. We've met before, haven't we?" She lashed him a seductive smile and he felt his stomach lurch.
"Afraid not." He remarked coolly, hoping to discourage her from talking more. Between the uneasy feeling this demon gave him and the awkward feeling he'd have around Nia, he preferred Nia's company. The demon frowned before kissing his cheek and walking away. Letting out a sigh of relief, he strolled closer to Nia and hoped that he could be somewhat close and her not notice.

| Millenia was too absent minded to actually notice anyone around her. Her thoughts kept drifting back to Seth and how should she handle the fact that they are to start working together from today onwards. At one moment however, she thought she felt a familiar presence.
Ah, the demon woman... she remembered the incident from the bar, but that had nothing to do with her anymore. Nothing to do with her... Out of curiosity she still shot a quick look over her shoulder. The first thing that Millenia saw, were a few lowly demons not to far from her. Oh well, she had nothing to loose, she winked to them playfully before turning her head straight.
The appointed time was just a mere minute away and Millenia was starting to get anxious. How long are they going to make everyone wait. Just as she had that thought, the counselor himself appeared from around the corner and headed straight to the room where the succubus and her partner were supposed to be briefed about their mission.
