So, just erase the (parenthesis) and anything in between and fill it with your answers. You can also add other pointers if you'd like to add other things that can't fit in the other categories. If you have any question, just ask.
First, for now, the village is called squiggle-dot-squiggle (~.~). When I find a good name for it, I'll just edit the profiles (or you can do it yourself). Ideas about that are welcome. Also, at the beginning of the story, a huge snowstorm is going on, destroying any thought of "safe" travel. So a lot of the travellers have resorted to go wait the end of the storm at the local inn (the first floor being like a tavern/pub).
Second, the only field I think I have to explain more is competences. Basically, competences are anything your character knows how to do. Normally, it's a part of the class definition, but I always found it a bit restrictive. For example, people will often think that a fighter doesn't know how to pick locks, and that a priest can never understand how to fight with a sword... Sucks right?
So, instead of the classical class thing, I ask you to tell me what your character do for living, his job basically, called "Profession" in the profile above. Then, in the competences, you can include anything your character knows how to do. I'll try to regroup the most common one under simple terms later (all the armor, weapon and magic, mainly). Anything special should come with a definition. And yeah, feel free to leave idea and discuss that point while I work on the other stuff.
So yeah, when you,re done filling your profile, just post it here. Thanks ^^

| Name: Briel Mirdnt (pronounced "Mir-dent")
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 25 years old
Profession: Forest Guide
Competences:- Medium Armors (20-30lbs)
- Medium Shields
- Small Blunt Weapons: Apprentice
- Medium Cutting Weapon: Skilled
- Holy Magic: Skilled
- Communication (Animals): Apprentice
- Companion (Animal): Apprentice
- Crafting (Potions): Novice
- Silent Walk: Novice
Tools: A old wooden staff, a scimitar, a few blank scrolls of paper and a piece of charcoal to write, a wooden ring
Appearance: Briel is a 5'6" athletic woman with deep brown hair kept into thin dreadlocks and tied in a ponytail at the back of her head. Her skin is tanned from all the time she spends outside and her eyes are of a forest green color. She normally wears simple clothes made of leather, animal fur and other easily available materials, since they resist well to her life in the woods. Normally, she goes for a pair of leather pants, a leather vest above a pale cotton shirt, a pair of dark leather boots and a simple belt. She doesn't wear accessories that often, keeping them only for special ceremonies, but she possesses a small wooden ring that she always wear on her right hand's ring finger, showing her link with the local grove.
Personality: Briel is a friendly and open person. She loves sharing her knowledge of the woods with other people, and enjoy learning new facts and stories about her surrounding. She is always ready to help people, though she has learned to ask questions before saying yes. She is determine, but not overly stubborn. She can be rational and down-to-earth at times, though she often prefers to go with the flow and let things happen naturally.
Biography: Briel is the only daughter of local ranger and druid. She grew up in the woods near Dorgnad's Creek with her parents and her two older brothers, learning at a young age how to communicate with nature. Her brothers often preferred hunting and tracking, having a strong link with animals, while she was more of a quiet child, gathering flowers and berries to bring back. Her mother, an experienced druid and leader of the local grove, taught her all she knew about curative plants, as well as some magic tricks. Her father, a renown ranger, taught her how to deal with animals and how to communicate with them.
Both of her parents left when Briel was 12, called by the authorities of Dorgnad's Creek for some rescue mission. They never came back, but Briel still believe they are alive somewhere. After all, they knew everything about nature, so how could they not survive? Her brothers were 15 and 16 at the time, and they took care of her, along with the other members of the grove.
When they were old enough, her brothers left for Dorgnad's Creek to go learn how to fight with the local guards. They then each choose to go explore different paths, leaving their small village for great adventures. The older headed for the north to look for their lost parents, while the younger decide to go to the south in search of magical artifacts and lost treasure. They both keep contact with their little sister via something they call animal mail, where they would ask some animal to carry a letter to each other.
Briel had the same opportunity, though she decided to stay in the druids' grove and use her knowledge of the wood to help people travel safely in the area. She is now herself a respected member of the grove and spends most of her time travelling between Dorgnad's Creek and the mountains, guiding people so that they don't get hurt or hurt the forest. Although she finds her job rewarding, Briel would love to go explore some other region, and maybe meet her brothers again... or find her parents.
Companion: When they reach a certain level of understanding, the druids and rangers of the grove often chose an animal companion. The bonding with that animal become quite strong, allowing the human to call the animal and "teleport" it wherever he is. They can also talk with the animal, and it will follow their orders, though they cannot share its senses directly like a familiar would do. The animal, in exchange for its loyalty, gain special abilities and a longer life span, although the exact powers are different for each animal.
Briel's companion is a large dark grey she-wolf called Mercane. It has been at her side for 5 years now, and it follows her everywhere. Although, since the villagers don't seem too fond of the beast, it will usually wait at the border of the forest when its master goes to fetch something. It acts pretty much like a guard dog, being nice to people unless they threaten its master.

| It never takes me long to write these things up.
Name: Jinks Glittereye
Race: Tibbit
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Profession: Wandering Jack-of-All-Trades and Mouser
Competences: Communication (Animals-Felines): Skilled
Sorcery: Apprentice
Small Ranged: Skilled
Small Cutting: Apprentice
Detecting Traps: Novice
Hide in Shadows: Novice
Lock Picking: Novice
Perform (tinwhistle): Novice
Persuasion: Novice
Pickpocket: Novice
Silent Walk: Novice
Sleight of Hand: Novice
Trade Sense: Novice
Tools: A sackful of various bits and bobs that may or may not be useful. Such items include small rocks, scraps of metal, broken talismans, a few copper pieces... whatever is found on the floor at any time, she picks up and puts it in her bag. The things she cannot use for anything else become ammunition for her sling. Sometimes, though, that scrap of metal makes an excellent lockpick or the broken talisman may have a little bit of healing energy left in it. She calls this sack her "bag of fleas". She also carries a small dagger.
Appearance: A majority of the time, Jinks looks like a normal white cat with green eyes. When it is nessessary, she changes into a humanoid figure that is about three feet tall with short white hair that is always messy, green eyes, and pointed ears. She wears simple traveling clothing while in humanoid form, consisting of a brown tunic, loose pants, and boots. No use wearing anything fancy when people hardly ever see it.
Personality: Jinks is a naturally curious being who has been following groups of adventurers for a few years. She is quick to laugh, but also quick to anger. Her mood is constantly changing and she is easily distracted by small items on the ground. While a cat, she seems very affectionate towards everybody- especially anyone who gives her food.
Biography: Jinks is a distant descendant of the familiar of a powerful wizard whose name has been forgotten through the ages. The familiar's name, though, was Glittereye, which is her family name. Raised in a litter of four, Jinks always had somebody to play with and never lacked any sort of small adventure. Their parents taught them all about the outside world and how important it was to keep in feline shape, mostly for ease of transportation. The parents knew that they would all be hit by the wanderlust one day and head off on their own, as they did when they were litte. So once Jinks and her siblings hit the age of seven, they were all off on their own. Jinks has not seen any members of her family since.
After starting her journey, she made her living as a wandering mouser- stopping in a town, taking residence in the tavern, and hunting there for a few weeks until their cellar was almost clear of vermin. Once her job there was finished, she would move on to the next town. While doing this, she would watch the tavern's clientelle and learn all sorts of skills from them. How could the human card shark know that the little kitty on their lap was watching their every move as they cheated their opponents in a game of three-crowns? And the bard on stage always had no clue that the cat staring intently at them was slowly learning how to play the flute by watching them. Because of her magical ancestry, she can use a few small spells, too, to help her in her journeys. She has come to Dorgnad's Creek on her normal tour of duty. She has already made herself at home in the tavern, and the owners don't seem to mind...
Played by: Keylaleigh
((NOTE: In the roleplay, it's preferred that nobody knows Jinks's real name or the fact that she has a humanoid form. It would be best if most of the villagers call her "kitty" or one of various names. Have fun coming up with something!))

The note at the bottom was more info for the NPCs than the PCs.

| Sweet hears mine. Hope shes good enough.
Name: Nurell Hogekins
Race: Halfling
Gender:Female
Age: 26
Profession: Thief
Competences: Armor: Medium 20-30
Weapons: Small Dagger: Novice, Throwing knives: Apprentice
Other skills: Lock picking: Skilled, Disarming traps: Skilled,
Pickpocket: Apprentice, Detecting traps: Apprentice, Armor crafting light and medium: Apprentice.
Tools: A bandoleer of small throwing knives, a golden ring which has a magical ability she hasn't figured out yet, a lock pick kit and trap disarming kit, tools for crafting light and medium armor since she has to make her own, and last but not least a dagger that she uses more as sword because of her size.
Appearance: Nurell or Rell as most call her is actually tall for a halfling at least for a female halfling that is. Being a petite and athletic looking 3"5' tall. She wears mostly dark clothing, being a thief most of her work is done in the alleyways or late at night on the thieves highway (rooftops). She has dark brunette hair some even call it black. She keeps it rather short so it stays out of her way. When it is long she keeps it pulled back into a ponytail. Her pants are dark leather and her top is a dark leather jerkin over a black cloth shirt. She made them all herself because most clothing that are her size that are sold are for kids which are not typically made for combat.
Personality: Rell is most of the time pretty level headed at other times though she can be meaner than a cat that's just been dunked in a bucket of water. She usually keeps quite and to herself unless she is treated like a child. That is one thing she hates about her own race is constantly being thought of a child. She used to not be that way but things have made her a more hardened individual than she once was.
Biography: Nurell wasn't always a thief she didn't always have to fend for herself by taking others things. In fact at one point in her life she was aspiring to become just like her mother. Her mother and father both were very renowned armorers. At least by hafling standards, she had always lived the plush life learning the skills she would need to be just like her parents one day. She never got as skilled as she would have liked only becoming an apprentice level.
The reason for this being that when she turned 20 a dragon attacked her village. Only her and a small handful of other survived. Afraid to rebuild and not sure what else they could do each person that was left gathered what they could that was left and went on their separate ways. Rell eventually found herself in a human city that seemed to not really know much about her kind. Most thought she was just a young runaway child. She tried to get honest work using her armoring skills, but because of her height and childlike appearance she was always turned away before she could show what she could do.
It was about a year after she had come to the village that she turned to thievery. Finding no work and always being treated like a child made her angry and she started taking things from pockets. Whatever she could get without people noticing. She sold some of the items for food or bought things she needed with the money she would sometimes nab here and there. One day though she made the mistake of thieving from a thief she was lucky it didn't get her killed. The man seemed to know what she was and took her into his home which happened to be the thieves guild of the town.
She wasn't welcomed with open arms at first but after proving herself and with some training she has become pretty good with her trade. She often times make armor for the guild members and even sells a few on the streets. In different sizes than what she wears of course. People still often times mistake her for a kid and don't know what she dose at night or in the alleyways when shes on a job and not selling leather armor to those that might need it. She prefers it this way, she dose her job and helps the public at the same time. Often times she only takes jobs that helps children anyway since being treated like nothing but one for 6 years now aside from her new family at the guild has made her sympathetic towards them. Thought she has been known to take other jobs but that's rare.

| Name: Halyth Daechel
Race:Half Elf (Human and Elf)
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Profession: Assassin
Competences: Poisons (Skilled), Light Armor (Apprentice), Cutting Weapons: Small (Novice), Ranged Weapons (Skilled), Crafting: Potions (Apprentice), Silent Walk (Apprentice), Detecting Traps (Novice), Persuasion (Novice)
Tools: Bows, herbs and plants for poisons or potions, daggers, and a crossbow.
Appearance: Halyth is 5'0" and 103 lbs. She has fair skin, and wavy, ashen blond hair that is kept up in a bun and covered by a dark green hood. When it's down, it reaches about her shoulders. She has grey eyes, a heart shaped face, and a lean figure, as is standard for most beings of her make up. Her physical appearance is that of a lovely, pure, innocent, clean handed young woman which she uses to her advantage when necessary. On the job she wears black leather leggings, deep brown leather corset, leather gauntlets, knee-high boots and her dark green hood. When in towns or other social settings, she wears a white peasant blouse under her corset, a navy blue skirt and sandals instead of the boots. Three things she wears regardless of where she is are two small silver hoop earrings, and a matching silver chain, with a silver cross like pendant known as an "evening star," holding a sparkling blue sphere.
Personality: As a killer, Halyth is quiet, quick, and efficient. Unlike most killers though, she is not without mercy, nor does she take a great deal of enjoyment in what she does. She crafts her poisons so that her victims feel like they are going into a deep sleep, and in the event she must use her weapons, she attacks her victim in a place and manner that they will feel as little pain as possible. As a person, she does live up to her appearance. She is meek, demure, polite and well spoken. Part of this is due to what she does for a living, but a lot of it is her genuine personality. Her movements are very controlled, as is her entire demeanor, but her eyes hold an ever present longing, regardless of her actual mood.
Biography: Halyth Daechel was born to an Elf father and Human mother. Her name "Halyth" means free child while "Daechel" means shadow maiden. Halyth grew up up in what was a seemingly normal, loving household. The three always had plenty of food, money, and all their needs were met. Her mother was a homemaker, but for the longest time she never knew what her father did, just what her mother told her. "He's away on business sweet one. Your father works very hard for us, and loves you more than anything. I'm sure he doesn't like being away from you as often as he is." Then one night, when Halyth was 13, she awoke to the sounds of struggle; chairs being knocked over, glass breaking. When it stopped, she ran into the living room, to find her mother in her nightgown, bloody knife in hand, and her father standing behind her, clasping a wound on his shoulder. In the middle of the floor was a stranger, lying face down in a steadily growing pool of blood. After the initial tears and "Is Papa okay? Who is that man? Did you hurt him mama?" Halyth's family history, as well as her father's profession, was revealed. The man in question had been her uncle, her mother's brother, that she had never met before. On that night it occurred to her that she'd never met any of her mother's relatives, just her father's. The reason being that Halyth's father was an assassin, sent to kill a member of her mother's family. Her mother witnessed the crime, and before her father escaped, her mother begged him to take her with him; she had been suffering at the hands of her family, enduring physical and mental abuse, and was miserable. Halyth's father initially meant to take her and simply leave her in another town, but as her father put it "On thing lead to another...and after a year of traveling together, we were married." The man lying the floor had been sent to retrieve her mother. As one can imagine, this was a lot of information for a 13 year old girl to take in all at once, so things were a little...awkward around the house for about 2 months. When Halyth finally adjusted and accepted it, she decided to discuss with her father in depth about his "career." She found that he wasn't ruthless killer, and the guild he worked for only took kills that leaned on the good side of the law (her father made a point to emphasize: "Still illegal, but if if you kill someone no one likes anyway, who's going to care, right kiddo?") Halyth even found the idea of being an assassin somewhat interesting. She learned all of her father's techniques and skills, and became an accomplished assassin in her own right, deciding to strike out on her own at 18. Though due to the nature of her profession, she cannot make many friends outside of fellow guild member, she has met one person whom she cares for very deeply. The jewelry she wears was made by that person, for her. She is currently in Dorgnads Creek on her way back from a job, and is now stuck there due to the inclement weather.
