Appearance: Mellody is tall and slim, she has honey-colored hair that reach below her shoulders and seem to change their tones depending on the lighting. Her eyes look greenish and because of that some of her friends say she resembles a cat. Melody wears light blue jeans with a flower cut out on the right thigh and a loose fitting white blouse. Her years are pierced and she wears spiral earrings when she doesn't forget to put them on.

Race: Elven werewolf ?
Appearance: Fenris has dark brown hair and green eyes. As all elves do, he has two pointy ears. He's tall and thin. He wears a necklace with something carved in stone, which he lets none see. But every full moon he turns into a vicious beast.

It was a cold and windy day. It seemed that it will start pouring shortly. Not many people were left wandering the streets and even those who still were outside, scurried to nearest bus stops.
"Oh... This weather makes my bones ache..." an old librarian complained while looking through the window. He coughed. The library was very old and barely any people came. Just few of his regular customers knew about wondrous books he had there.
"Stop complaining old man and put me back into my shelf!" something on the table complained.
"What a noisy book you are..." he shook his head while walking towards it.

Fenris stared out the window. The sun was sinking down the horizon, behind the mountains which surrounded the Valley of Wolves. A distant howl echoed in the valley. Fenris blinked and turned back to the book in his hand. Second Level: Air, it said on the cover. He closed his eyes and sighed. He was glad of the Tower's magical protections and enchantments, for that way he wouldn't turn into a wolf tonight. He got up and, placing the book back on its shelf, left the library.

As the old man was taking the book to its rightful place, he heard a door bell ring.
"Hmm, it seems we have a visitor," the man smiled and headed back once he placed the book on the shelf.
"Welcome!" man greeted the new arrival. "Oh! Well if it isn't my little Melody," he seemed happy to see her.
"What brings you here in such a weather?"

"Hey, Lucius," she greeted the old man and sighed, "Would you stop calling me 'little' already? I'm twenty years old now!" she approached the counter and placed a couple of books she planned on returning today.
"Any new literature wonders you have for me today?" she asked curiously, because she absolutely loved everything that the old librarian recommended to her.

"Oh dear," he pretended to be thinking hard.
"Why don't you try looking for something on the second floor? If i recall things correctly, there is a book that many described as... Magical..." he chuckled while taking her books. Melody just laughed and rushed upstairs.

Fenris walked up the spiral staircase. He could have sworn he heard footsteps aproaching, and the rustle of pages, but it was just a branch of the old oak tree knocking against a window. His breathing grew sharper as his energy started wavering, result of the sapping of the spells keeping him an elf. He felt strangely like he was being watched. He couldn't get rid of the feeling, no matter how much he tried convincing himself that it was just the effects of the spell.

Once upstairs, Melody started walking through numerous bookcases holding both old and new books. She started browsing through them.
"Read this one, this one... and this one..." she looked through part of the books that were there till she reached the furthest corner on that floor. As Melody looked around, her eyes stopped on and old dusty book on a shelf that was unfortunately too high for her to reach.
"Well hello there..." she couldn't remember seeing that book before, carefully she used the lower shelf as a step in order to reach the book.
"Almost there..." she could already feel the cover with her fingertips.
"Got'cha!" she exclaimed when her hand took o hold of the book, but just then she felt that she's loosing her balance.
"Oh no, oh no!" she felt her body falling and closed her eyes firmly as if that would make the impact hurt less.

"Lucious," a book spoke to the librarian. "I think she's passing through..." he just raised his finger to his lips showing the book to hush. Just the a strong gust of wing rushed through the library making a few books fall.

When Melody opened her eyes, she found herself under a pile of books.
"Just great..." she rambled to herself and started to pick them up. Everything else seemed to be fine.

Fenris went up two... three set of stairs before arriving at the floor with the bedrooms. He went to his own. He unlocked the door, went in and curled up on his bed. He heard the wolves howling in the distance, asking him to join them, as they did every night but it was always far worse on full moon, because tonight it would be very hard to resist the call. He dug his nails into his pillow and closed his eyes tightly. Why, oh why were elves blessed with such good hearing?

Melody started to push the books off of her, till she finally managed to emerge from the pile. She sighed seeing all the mess around her.
"I guess I have to clean this mess..."
She started picking up books and putting them to their respective places, however she noticed some books that she couldn't recall seeing earlier.
"That's strange," she flipped through one of the books and decided to ask Lucius if she could borrow it later.
Once she was done Melody decided to return to the old librarian.
"Lucius," she spoke aloud while walking towards the stairs, "I couldn't find the boo...book...." she was taken aback when she realized that this wasn't the old library anymore. Surrounding her were towers of bookcases as far as her eyes could see, and the small old wooden stairs were now huge and in perfect condition as well.

Fenris froze. He could have sworn he had heard a distant crash. And the souce sounded like it had come from the library. He closed his eyes, summoning the air element, and felt himself being teleported directly to the large and old library. He saw a human woman. 'Who are you?' he snarled.

Melody almost stumbled backwards when she saw a tall man appear out of thin air.
"Umm you know.. That's a difficult question, will the answer 'a human' suffice?"
She actually had no idea what to answer him, seeing his glittery green eyes made her feel a shiver run down her spine.
"Where is this?"

Fenris crossed his arms. 'No. It wouldn't. And you should know where this is, since you managed to get here. How did you get by the magical barriers, anyway? Wait, nevermind that question, most efficient mages would be able to unweave the spells that bind this place. But I wonder, how did you get past the wolves?' The wolves that lived in this valley were much fiercer than normal wolves due to the magical influence on them, and cannot be harmed by magic. They only leave alone someone studying at the Tower.

Somehow the tone of his voice sounded rude and offensive and, even though she felt that her life might depend on this man's will, Melody got stubborn.
"I am not obliged to explain you anything! Even the fact that I never even came from outside this building...!" she covered her mouth quickly. She said a little more than she intended to.
"Anyway, if you're not going to be of any assistance, I'm going to look for someone who will help. Maybe the librarian here?" she pouted and headed towards the stairs.

'There is no librarian here,' said Fenris, getting annoyed, 'In fact, there are only three people in this entire building. At least until you showed up. And yes, it is my business what you are doing here. I live here.' The human girl said that she had not come from outside. But that was impossible, right? He glared at her, wondering how she had come to be. What were trhose horrible clothes she was wearing? Where had she come from? He suppressed asking those questions.

"What do you mean by saying that this is not a library?" she refused to believe it.
"There are tons of books here, it simply can't be..." she began to feel panic rising. Melody ran down the stairs and started searching for any possible evidence that she is in a library, but the longer she searched the smaller her hope got. Melody finally stopped and fell to her knees.
"But- but.. This is impossible..." she tried to recall how she got here.
"H-How can this be? I just went to look for a book, then.. What then? I tried to reach some eerie old book and then everything collapsed and..." she blinked. The thought she had was absurd, there is no way she touched some kind of a teleportation device, could it? She read similar stuff in some fantasy type books, but that can't happen in real life...
Melody raised her head at the man.
"Do you, by any chance, know someone by the name of Lucius?"

'Oh, this is a library, but the books fly back to their own shelves of their own accord, it is one of the ancient spells cast on this tower.' He listened to what she was saying. So she had come here by accident? Or was it instinctive magic? Because inexplicable things can happen to mages sometimes. 'Lucius?' he said, raising an eyebrow. 'What a peculiar name. No, I have never met a man named Lucius. And you say you touched an old book? Is it with you at the moment?'
