Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

Silver watches Tu walk away then sighs as he settles himself back down onto the ground. He sighs looking up at the flowers above his head.

"These dragons are strange creatures... maybe grandfather was right. Dragons are not ment to be trusted for their tounges will twist you a tale to lure you into security then your death is on your own demise," he said before settling on plucking grass to eat.

[I walk with Time]

Luna woke, unable to stay asleep any longer and stretched, startling a few people around her. She beat her wings a few times to get the kinks out of them before the started walking down a path, down towards where all the stalls with vendors were. She decided to stay in her wolf form because at the present time it was quite comfortable. She padded softly down the 'street'.

The wolf looked around while she was walking. Her eye located a stall with two familiar figures, Silver and Rhee, in it. There was a man in green and brown, with an air of royalty around him, in front of the stall chatting with the centaur and centauress.


Eclipse continued searching, but was unable to find anything, so she decided to loop around again. She was walking in the opposite direction as Luna it turned out. She saw the same male in brown and green with his hair put up that she had earlier.

Lunar gathered her shawl around her again, there was quite a chill in the air. She unscrewed the thermos she had brought with her, and poured some of the clear green tea into the cup section. Steam rose off it gently, and the bright fireworks reflected on the liquids surface, as though mirroring the fun of the night. She coo'ed over the drink, and lightly took a sip, feeling her body warm up with its sweetness and temperature. Bliss.

[Urboros]

Rhee scooted over she had finished the blanket and had watched the inter change with caculating eyes. She dropped the blanket on Silvers head and pulled up on of her forelegs.
"Now, thats not nice. Many creatures have a vested intrest in speaking crypticly. I'm sure if Tu had said something blatent it would cause you to worry needlessly."
Rhee flopped down and shifed so the cat could use her a s pillow.
"Remeber what Tu said about humans loving beauty, well I've heard whisperings of people hunting dragons for their beauty."
Rhee dropped the tone and leaned in close.
"I've only ever killed one dragon, and I don't think its right to kill something for beauty, those fox bags I use ever bit of the creature, and I try not take the females."
Rhee's tail swished back and forth.

Mana flew all the way to the hanamichi, then tiredly landed on the floor as if she fell..

holding down a heavy bag that was on her back "phew, finally there!!!" she aid with a sigh..

she had finally gotten the chance to participate in the booths of the festival this year, but she almost missed her chance by being late as usual.
Mana looked around the festival to find if the corner she booked was still there "YES!!" it was there~ she hurried and set her little tent *got it from her bag* & then distributed strange sparkling gems & potions, then she smiled proudly at them.."let's see what my new potions and voodoos will bring e this year" she said as she sat on the chair behind the little table, waving her little fan. it felt so nice to finally be able to rest after a long journey.

Silver felt the dragon drop onto his head and moves his head a bit around so that his eyes along with his nose poking out as well, he lets out a soft sneeze a bit with his ears twitching under the blanket.

"Yeah I know... and I know of humans hunting dragons, that why the ice dragons are very protive of their young ones. I do feel sorry for the dragon race along with any other been hunted down. Back home after we make a kill we offer somewhat of a ceremony for the spirit to be at peace so it doesn't come back to haunt us. We also tell it that we return it to the mother earth and we shall join it one day," he said with a smile with his tail twitching happily madly behind him.

[Huo Jin]

Jin crossed his arms and stood silently at the edge of Hanamichi, staring into the crowd. He quickly scanned the group of people with a frown - taking note of the dragon-to-human ratio - and averted his gaze to a less populated area.

Silver felt something and gentle gets up form his place in the stall before poking his head out. He sniffs the air a bit before laying his ears down a bit, his body shakes a bit as he sense something and this something was powerful. He could tell just by smelling it but where was the smell coming from he wonder?

He then pulls his head back into the stall and tries to hide himself under his own fur blanket with a bit of his rear end sticking out along with the rest of him shaking a bit. Whatever was outside he didn't want to go out! He want to stay in the stall safe and sound along with been warm now.

[Urboros]

Rhee nodded.
"an offering sounds good, i've never done one. should have for that poor dragon."
Rhee sighed and poked silver. and pushed most of her stuffs out of sight. She opened her bag and dumped out the contents. Picking out a beautiful orangish scale.
"So an offering, in the forest for that dragon. could you help me?"
She showed the scale to silver.

[Huo Lien]

"Jin? Did I leave you waiting very long?" Lien smiled at the prince as she approached him. She held out her hand, revealing a unique looking gem. "Look at this! The vendor told me that it's garnet! Isn't that a birthstone? It's so beautiful." She turned her hand toward herself and observed as it sparkled delicately in the sunlight.

Silver pulls his head out from under the blanket a bit then looks at the scale. He nods his head when helping to send an offering to one that has been dead so long.

"Okay, what type of dragon was it? In the north there where a few other dragon speices but mainly the ice dragons that dominated the area. Hmm also do you have the weapon that you use to kill with you? Cause that very important to have in the ceremony you must have to help with the passing," he said softly while looking at the scale in Rhee hand.

[Huo Jin]

Jin glared at her ring. "I don't know." He stated bluntly, letting his eyes wander through the crowd again. "I'd like to leave now."

Mana blinked her eyes as she couldn't believe that the great lady
Huo Lien has shown interest in her gems.."good day my lady, i hope you would take that gem as a token of my appreciation to you" mana said as her heart was throbbing so fast, *this is like a dream* slightly flapping her black wings from excitement

[Arabesque]

She couldn't believe that she had made it this far...

Pausing, Altair carefully re-wrapped the cloth that was bound around her arm, checking the wound as she did so. The cloth, torn from the wrapped skirt she wore about her waste, was made of light but very well-made fabric.

It should have been stemming the flow of blood, but the gash appeared to be too deep..

Brushing a few strands of black hair from her tan, sweaty face, the girl continued. She held her injured limb close to her torso, her free hand carrying the broken remnants of her spear.

She spotted too figures well ahead of her, both dressed in elegant, very obviously expensive clothing. They appeared to be overlooking a town of some sort. An illusion, perhaps? She'd lost quite a bit of blood--her brain could be playing tricks on her..

She called to the figures, but stumbled as she did so. Her knees felt weak and the edges of her body felt strangely cold and numb...
