Okay, solved!

I cannot seem to access the Shops. I've tried clicking on the tab that says "Shops" and the Market-square link on my Character screen, but I just get a blank "Information" message come up. Is this a glitch, or am I doing something wrong?

Go to the Shops, and choose a Shop from the list

You need to create a character in order to access items and shops. Click the "Character" tab at the top of the page. It has a sword icon.

@ Chu: I have a character created already.

You also have to be "out of combat" to view the shops. If you've started a battle then you'll need to finish it up first.

As far as I can tell you're not doing anything wrong.
