| I see, haha. I am one of those people who tend to read the book and then watch the movie and love the movie because I loved the book, even if the movie was way different and supposedly not as good. I don't know... if I like it I like it.

| The one thing that really upset me about the Percy Jackson movie was the lack of Clarisse. I love that girl so much!
This is what I told everybody, though: If you have never read the books, it's an AMAZING movie. If you did read the books, you might be a little dissappointed.

| Well I have never read the books. But I feel the same way about the Harry Potter films, except that they don't disappoint me evne though I have read the books, but they are still good I just think other people are often disappointed.

| Yeah, exactly. Translation from book to film does not always work out very well, in that many things that work well in a book just can not be successfully executed in film.

| And if you perfectly translate a book into movie form, it's kind of boring. While I loved the Watchmen graphic novel, I fell asleep during the movie.
And now I wish my scanner was working so I could get my art up...

| Yeah, exactly.
Although that movie was so violent in a way that is more .. intimate ? Than I am used to I was kind of thrown off by it. I mean I thought it was good but I never read the graphic novel anyway.
And... lol there is a reason mine is free.
