Lotus Festival Roleplay '10!

Bell, waited for the reply from Freya, Bell decided to go out shopping again herself. She packed up all her food and put it back inside her bag, also putting the necklace back in.
"I'm going now, you can come and meet me at the stalls later if you want, hope we meet again! Bye!" She called as she started to go and run off.

Bell ran down all the stalls, Trying to get past all the people that were around. She got to her house and decided to put on some new clothes. She took of her old ones and went to see what she had. She came out with Purple knee high socks, Her boots, a strap less top. She also put on her belt and the rings she always wears. She also put on her necklace that she brought earlier. She then put on her panda jacket and put up the hood. This jacket was one thing that she would never go anywhere with out.

She then headed down to the stalls, hoping that she would find some more things to buy, and make some more friends.

Silver falls over again but this time he bolts up from his spot with a bit of a panic. He gets onto his hind legs quickly only to tumble over his front feet sending him down onto the ground. His eyes where wide and looking around as if there was something after him. Tail twitches and flicker madly in the air before getting back onto all four. He sits himself a bit on his hind area. Palms rubs his face area a bit then moves his tounge out of his mouth. He shakes his head a bit.

"My tounge is still numb, along with the inside of my mouth," he said to himself.

He shakes his head a bit more then looks around a bit before laying himself back down on all fours, his legs curls up towards his body.

Maeve finished emptying her bag. She put her notebook with some pencils back into it, as well as a rolled jacket in case the weather changed while she was out. She added a few more commodities, not forgetting to tied the large tablecloth she used as seating in the lotus area back where it was supposed to be. She threw the empty boxes and bottles of water into a garbage bin and then checked back her bag to be sure everything was ok, before leaving her room.

The girl got downstairs and bought two bottle of water from the bar, then she exited the building and walked through the crowded streets until she found a stall selling sandwiches. She bought one, asking the vendor to wrap it in plastic wrap and placing it carefully in her bag. She then ordered a large bowl of noodles as breakfast. She paid her due and headed down the streets toward the lotus tree area, wondering what today would bring.

[Squid]

(Just a quick entro then I have to run to the store)

The first thing people usually noticed about Squid wasn't the beak on the center of its face, taking up the spot where the nose and mouth would be. It wasn't even always the many tentacles upon which Squid moved.

At least, that's not what Squid liked to think. Squid liked to think it was its dark shining skin. Squid had always been proud of its skin and the way it could glow in the sun. With so many other pale people, Squid loved being different and standing out.

But the skin aside, Squid's beak and tentacles also made it very different.

Without a mouth to truly smile with, it could be difficult to tell what different expression had at the moment, fortunately for it, however, Squid had large glowing eyes, that were usually pretty expressive.

Traveling down to Flower Street, it wasn't exactly a mystery to tell that Squid was in a pleasant mood. The lotus festival was a favorite time of year.

Two of Squid's tentacles were held in front of it, holding a lotus blossom while a third tentacle plucked the petals off. When the petals had all been picked, Squid began folding them over each other to make a sort of doll from the petals. Yet another tentacle rose up, holding a small bunch of long blades of grass, which were used to tie off and separate a distinguishable head and body on the doll.

Squid's expression became more pleased and it clicked its beak appreciatively at the finished work, holding the makeshift doll up for inspection. ''Very good work, old fellow'' Squid muttered to itself, then tucked the doll loosely in the chains wrapped about its waist for moderately safe keeping.

Bell continues to wonder down the stalls looking at diferent things as she went. She then spoted a.. She thought to herself, What is it? She decided on calling it a thing. Untill she knew better what it was.

She then looked down at what the tentacles where doing. She saw that they were making a very pretty doll. She could see this thing was good at doing things like that as he had a few around a chain on it's waist.

She went over to the thing and said,
"Hello, how are you today, My names Bell and it's nice to meet you," She said as she smiled. She looked at him and then said
"If you don't mind me asking, what exactly are you?"

Luon continues to walk until he is at a place filled with people singing and he is given a little flower from a stranger the person just kept walking . Luon was completely blow out of his mind. He just ran be was scare for his life until he bumped into someone who was talking to a strange thing and asking what it was.

Bell felt something go into her. She quickly turned around. She saw it was a person, and said,
"Oh sorry, am I in your way?" While she was moving so there was a bigger gap own the path.
"What's your name by the way?"

She walked over to Tsubasa and stared at the lake in front of them her her necklace sparkling by the sun as Tsubasa's shined"Tsubasa,I'm bored we better go now too."She said tucking her good luck necklace underneath her Dark blue and black kimono as her brother did the same after batting the birds around him away

Tsubasa glanced towards the long row of trees then both sides"where do we go?"He asked and Kurokawa just shrugged"we might as well go straight forward for now."she answered walking toward the trees, He took a few steps then paused"Tsubasa?come on and don't slow down."Kurokawa said. With that,He dashed to catch up with his sister

[Maeve]

Maeve was walking down the streets, not thinking about much and only trying not to drop her bowl of noodles. She thought she saw someone she remembered - who wouldn't - a squid-like humanoid. Though, it seemed to be busy we other people and she didn't want to disturb them. The only thing she wanted right now was a nice spot where she could sit down and eat. She headed down the streets as best as she could until she reached the lotus trees area. She walked up to a tree, a smaller one closer to the other this time, and set down her things. She then placed her tablecloth on the ground and sat on it, her back against the tree. She grabbed a pair or chopstick from her bag and her bowl of noodles and started to eat, finally relaxing.

[Squid]

Squid smiled at Bell when she came up and introduced herself, beginning to introduce itself in return, when they were bumped. Instinctively, a couple of tentacles snapped out to steady Luon and keep him from falling.

''Are you alright?'' Squid asked, directing its concern first to Luon, a few tentacles absently dusting him off. Then attention was turned back to Bell. ''My name is Squid. I'm ... pretty interesting.'' was the only way to really describe the creature.

From the head, there was vibrant short pink hair, topped with a pair of gnarled black horns. Squid had a pair of large glowing green eyes and an black curved beak instead of a nose or mouth. A double pair of wings - one large and feathery, the other smaller and more like an insects - sprouted from Squid's shoulders. The smaller pair fluttered at a constant, while the larger pair mostly drooped.

Squid's upper body was the most humanoid looking with a neck, shoulders and chest. Everything you expect a person to have. From the waist, however, things got weird. There was a tangle of tentacles, each often doing their own thing. Two tentacles did drop down from Squid's shoulders, the primary appendages Squid used to do things with.

Despite the beak, Squid's words came out perfectly formed, with no hint of any speech disability, aside from a slight clicking every time the beak opened and shut. ''Are you both hungry? I'd be more than happy to buy you a meal.'' Squid said, several different tentacles gesturing to several different food stands. ''What have you got a taste for?''

(Maeve, I see you. I'm coming for you =P)

Rhee got up and stretched her limbs I was time to get back to her stall. Mr.meow was probably shedding on everything. She picked up flick and the jar of honey and started back.

Bell heard Squid's question and replied
"Oh, I loved the rice balls, I had some yesterdays they were so yummy, we could get some of them,"

Finding nothing terribly interesting happening on Flower Street (it seemed as though everyone had wandered off; perhaps to admire those lotus trees he'd heard mention of), Fram wandered farther along the road, peering briefly into stalls as he made his way along. He supposed he'd go and see those (apparently) very impressive lotus trees and perhaps collect a souvenir--or perhaps he'd just take a nap. He had been walking all day..

A giant, very strange, very nautical-looking creature was beginning to gather a crowd up ahead of Fram in the road. He took pause, a little stunned by the sheer oddness of the creature, his long fuzzy tail tucked slightly between his long legs as he walked nearer..

[Maeve]

((lol I'm glad to see you again Squid ^^ I'm leaving soon though.))

Maeve ate her bowl of noodles, looking at what was going on around her. A lot of people had gathered around the trees in small group. Some she thought she recognized, but most of them were strangers. She shrugged and finished her bowl, placing it beside her. She grabbed a bottle of water and took a few sips to finish her meal, replacing it into her bag once she was done. She then looked around once more, before crossing her arms behind her head and closing her eyes, trying to remember what had happened before she had fell asleep on the roof. Though she might have looked asleep, she was more in a sort of mediation state, still aware of the noise around her.

[Squid]

(It's okay! I'm planning on heading over to eat with Maeve, so we'll just assume you're tagging along, eating in silence)

''Rice balls sound delcious!'' The truth of it was, Squid was a bottomless pit and would eat absolutely anything as long as it smelled good. A pouch of silver was retrieved from under one of the tentacles, and Squid paid for a couple of rice balls.

Clicking its beak happily, Squid suggested that they head over to the lotus trees to eat, since it was so beautiful there.

As they began to head over, Squid noticed that it was attracting a bit of attention. It took a bite of its rice ball and bowed its head. When it looked back up, the beak was open, exposing the food ''Sea food!'' Squid squawked and laughed, before swallowing the bite.

Squid held out the rest of the rice ball to the strange creature with the tail ''Would you like a bite?'' it asked, though it didn't stop heading for the trees.

As it drew to the beautiful area, Squid noticed one figure stretched across the ground and hurried a little closer, tentacles plucking one of the petal dolls hanging from around Squid's waist to tuck next to Maeve. ''Something to cuddle with.''
