Tomas rolled her neck and looked across the river before staring at her wristwatch. Her break was about up, so she had better head back to the lodge now. They were most likely wondering where she had gone now, because this was the longest break she had ever taken.

As she walked back to the lodge, she kept an eye out for anybody suspicious. Fortunately, she saw nobody on the way back. A few hikers, but nobody else. Fortunately nobody suspicious. Once she got there, she was put right to work with a sick boy in the lobby. She was used to it, though. It was part of the job description.

Once finished with that, she sat down in the lobby. It was much easier for people to find her that way.

Myth decided to leave the preacher to his reading after watching him for a bit. She had no interest in staring at someone who was reading a book. She had gotten enough information for the time being. It was to her great relief, and disappointment, that a raven had decided to chase her out of the sky. On the one hand, it gave her an excuse to leave that perticular spot of sky. On the other hand, it was cutting her time in the air shorter than she would have liked. The first raven was joined by others.

The Dreamer dove into the cover of the trees with an aggravated shriek. When her feathered stalkers had finally left her alone she perched on an outstretched branch. She took a very good look around, and she pretended to preen. She wasn't far from a trail, and there seemed to be no one in sight. Myth decended to the ground, slowly returning to a more human shape.

It was a long hike back to the campsite, but not a horrible one. If anyone had cared to pay attention, they might have wondered how she had left from one side of the campsites and returned from a completely different area. But who was really paying that much attention to her? It was still to early to wolf out. And she wasn't hungry enough to make dinner. Toni crawled into her tent, content to take a nap. She set her watch to wake her before dusk.

Rebbecca looked around as she walked up the stairs to the lodge so she could check in. She had spotted some very nice-looking trails and once she confirmed her room she would look around for a secluded spot where she could read, and maybe practice being a rabbit or a bird. Hey she was out here in nature, it would a shame not to take this opportunity to practice really.

Speaking quietly to the lady behind the counter she confirmed her room and got a map of the trails. She grabbed her backpack and quickly settled into her room, grabbing her smaller "survival pack" and the map of the trails and heading out to look around.

(HAHA! I defy your silly riverside campsites! Besides mosquitoes are the devil and crazy person that I am I really enjoy mattresses. If any of you want to meet me just have Beck there run into you on a trail.)

Tomas watched as the new girl walked out with the trail map. This was interesting. So many new visitors in the last two days, and all on the slow season! She didn't know what to make of this. Looking out at the sky, Tomas decided it wast time to start tuning her fiddle. Weird man or not, tradition was tradition. She already knew some of the employees would be upset if she wasn't out there playing tonight.

As she rosined her bow, her mind wandered back to the influx of people. She had a strange feeling that there was a reason that they were all here. She couldn't tell what, but there was something. She got a strange vibe from all of them- some good, some bad. Well, things would unfold eventually, and she swore that she'd be around to catch it all.

Malphas watched as the reverend talked to himself. This guy was getting more intriguing by the moment. He was not so sure about what this guy's imaginary angel would say about him, but he sure was curious now.

'Well, about time to go back to the lodge. This snake business always tires me out.' he thought as he slithered out of the clearing, waiting until he was some distance away before changing back into a man. He also needed a shower really badly. Even though his hair never looked washed, he at least liked it clean.

Stella had managed to climb on a tree branch near the river track, and she was relaxing up there, her arms crossed behind her head and her eyes closed. She didn't really like climbing to trees, but in this woody area, they would probably be one of the best training device she could find. The girl let out a sigh and opened her eyes to look at her watch. It wasn't too late, but she didn't want to wait for too long before getting back to the campsite. Besides, she was getting hungry. She stretched her arms and took a look around to make sure there was no one in sight before she attempted to climb off of her newly-found perch.

A few small jumps and turns later, the blonde's feet were on the ground. She took the time to replace her clothes and adjusted her bag on her shoulders. She grabbed her staff, that she had left at the bottom of the tree before climbing up. Then, she took the folded map out of her pocket and started walking toward the camp. It would apparently took her some time to get back, since the path she was on was doing some sort of detour, but she didn't mind it. Closing the map and placing it back into her pocket, she followed the small trail, looking at the wild flowers, plants and small critters around.

Shaw remained in the clearing, finishing his meal and watching whatever creatures passed through it. A half hour or so later, he stood up, stretched, and made his way back down the thin path. He had two things to do - find out who here was a sinner, and see if the river was any good for fishing. He been moving westward, from campground to campground, looking for one with good fishing for the past year. Every year he chose something he was going to do, and set out to do it. This year's goal was to catch a fish as large as his arm. If he succeeded in his yearly goals, it was sign that he had pleased God. He did not always succeed.

The Reverend walked faster leaving the woods then he had entering them, striding purposefully toward his tent. Bending, Shaw unzipped his second bag and removed the pieces of his fold-able fishing rod, snapping it into place as he stood. Grasping his backpack, he bent once more, half in his tent, to deposit the drawstring bag with his bible, then set off toward the river.

Toni couldn't sleep. Despite her valiant efforts, she couldn't relax. Discovering another Dreamer was big. Being found out as one was just as bad. She sat on her sleepingbag, considering not watching Tomas play her fiddle that evening. On the other hand, she needed to be warned. But of what? Yeah, Tomas, you know that preacher guy you asked me to watch? Stay away from him. He's not a regular guy. Oh, how do I know? Well, I can't tell you because it'd be too hard to explain withoug blowing my secrets too. Oh by the way, I like the way you play your fiddle. Yeah, right.

She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts. Worrying about it wasn't doing her any good. In fact, it was making her feel worse. With a heavy sigh she pulled her boots back on. She exited her humble abode in time to see the preacher walk back to the river with fishing gear. She took a small ammount of comfort in that. "Just a guy, on vacation," she said softly. She sincerily hoped it stayed that way.

The Dreamer, in spite of her misgivings decided to go on a hike. She headed out on a trail that didn't look like too many people had traveled down it recently. Myth slunk off the trail and trekked through the woods until the path was no longer in sight. She was down on all fours faster than you could say 'werewolf', and trotted on her own path back toward the lodge. Some music might help clear her thoughts. And Tomas could probably use a bit of mystery that didn't involve creepy men. She chased a small herd of deer playfully until the turned away from the lodge. Wagging her tail, feeling a bit better, the Dreamer continued her journey. She wasn't about to make herself known too early. Not this time. She wanted to see if this Malphas guy would appear again.

Stella was close to the campsite when she crossed the path of another camper - a priest of some sort - walking to the river with his some fishing gears. She nodded at him with a small smile to say hello, and pursued her way to her little tent. She wasn't sure what a priest was doing around this place, though as long as he didn't bother her, she would do the same. She left her staff beside the small shelter and quickly entered her tent, closing it behind her.

Placing her bag in a corner, the blond sat on her sleeping bag. The terrain looked nice and she had not met much people around, but that last point was a bit predictable, since it was still the slow season. Though, she loved not having to many people around right now, especially families with small children. Not that she didn't like kids. She loved them, and they were a good audience for her tricks, but they were also always requesting her to teach them some things. And she didn't have the time for that now.

Stella let go a small sigh and looked to see if she had anything left to eat in her bag. She knew she had some bread and various things to make a sandwich left in her food container, but she felt like having something more filling for dinner. With another sigh, she resolved to go to the lodge to get a good meal. She grabbed her wallet, exited her tent and headed to the lodge.

The sound of Tomas's fiddle echoed through the night air. She needed a change of pace, so she went out a little farther than the front porch to play tonight. Instead, she sat on her rock next to the creek as she wove a new tune. She wasn't exactly sure what it sounded like yet, at some moments being sad and at others joyful.

She wasn't exactly the best when it came to night vision, but she had a good feeling that nobody was watching and that she was far enough away from the campsites to not bother people that may be sleeping. Plus, she was far away from Malphas, who she saw enter his room that night. Hopefully he was going to stay there.

Shaw passed one of the young woman he had seen before as he headed down toward the river. He met her eyes as she nodded at him, and immediately felt the ever present hand on his shoulder grow hot. A sinner! His eyes widened, staring at her back. It was always sad when one so young had been astray.

But he would not betray his God. No matter how young they were, a sinner was a sinner.

The dark haired man continued down the steep path to the river, feeling more melancholy then before. He would give her the night, at least.

He found himself a perch and settled in, watching the stars and listening to far off music as he fished. Shaw remained there for a long while, but failed once more in catching a large fish. God was still displeased with him. Perhaps he should not have given the girl the night.

But he would. Surely one night was not too much? He mused over this as he wandered back to his tent in the dark. No, she would have the night. He couldn't do anything now in any matter, as he had not followed her at the time. Who knew where she was sleeping.

Myth wandered about, enjoying the night air. As she made her way to the lodge, she noticed that the music that played wasn't coming from the direction of the building this time. She changed her direction, finding herself facing the fiddler's back. The other girl probably wouldn't like that. Quietly, she backed away and changed her course slightly. She found a spot to cross the river that didn't involve getting too wet. She shook the excess moisture from her fur and continued her trek.

The Dreamer meandered on downstream until she was directly across from Tomas. She stood in the trees, for a while, enjoying the music. She was still slightly distracted, trying to figure out what to say to the other girl. How would she explain what was going on, without giving herself away in the process? And what would the girl do if she knew?

She came closer and bent down to drink from the river. She wasn't particularly thirsty, but it felt good to have some liquids in her system. It also distracted her from her muddled thoughts. When she was finished, she sat down, watching the girl. She wondered what the fiddler would do, this far from the lodge, in the presence of a predator, that obviously wasn't afraid of humans.

Tomas watched as she saw the wolf, but something in her kept her playing her improvisations, adding feircer bow strikes to represent the change of scenery. Her wild audience was back once again, and this time not at the lodge. But somehow this wolf was not exactly threatening to her anymore. It had a strange vibe about it that didn't seem exactly... dangerous.

She watched it drink and then go a little bet away to sit down. Strangely enough, she actually was rather impressed. Her music didn't just charm humans, but animals as well! Maybe she could be like one of those disney princesses who could sing to the animals and they would help her clean up. Then she decided that that might not be such a good idea.

Stella arrived at the lodge porch. A moving shadow and the sound of a fiddle attracted her attention, but so did a small roar from her stomach. She hopped her shoulder and decided to enter the lodge building anyway. Food first, curious music-playing thing after. She walked to the small restaurant, half-empty at this hour. Grabbing something to eat, she noticed a few brochures in a rack beside the counter. She took a few and headed for a table.

Sitting beside a window, the blond ate her food, reading about the local activities and attractions. True, it wasn't part of her original plan, but she wanted to see if there was anything interesting around her, in case she had some free time or felt like doing some tricks for people. She was a bit disappointed to see that most of the activities planned for the summer were simple guided tour of the region and let go a small sigh.

Finishing her plate, the girl looked outside at the wilderness. It was nice at this time and looked so peaceful. She finished her meal quickly and headed back to her campsite, not wanting to be caught in complete darkness. Fortunately, her tent was easy to find and she reached it faster than she would have thought. Upon arrival, she sat down on a large stump, her legs crossed in front of her, and watched the night sky. She wondered if there were other people like her around. Probably not, her logical brain told her. Though she knew other Dreamers existed, she had never met any. With a small sigh, she decided to go to sleep and entered her tent, closing the door behind her. She fell asleep quickly, wishing to meet some Dreamers some day.

Rebbecca toiled up a hill, hoping for a view at the top. Stepping carefully she crested the top of the hill and gasped. A small meadow, filled with wildflowers and interrupted by small bushes, backlit by the rainbow of colors that made up the sunset.

"It looks like a painting, just look at those clouds." She murmured under her breath, before changing quickly into a small brown bird, and flying about the meadow. She needed to practice being a bird and the scenery was even better from the air.

Myth looked up as a bird flew overhead. She 'whurffed' at it. Yeah, you fly away. I'll get you yet, you little pest. She shook herself and looked back at the fiddler. She had a small idea, and hopefully, it wouldn't give her away. She yawned, showing off her sharp fangs, and stretched. She gave Tomas a wag of her tail, before trotting away into the gloom. She made her way downstream and crossed the running water. The Dreamer slunk part of the way back to the lodge before turning around.

Back in human form, she pretended to be less sure of her way. She followed the sound of Tomas's music to the river. She found the lodge worker where she had left her. "Hey, they told me I could find you out here. You play very well." Toni approached hesitantly. "Listen, about that preacher, dude." She looked very uneasy about the topic. "There's seriously something up with that guy."
