Hello everyone! o3o Um. I'm terrible with this kind of thing, really, but... here goes?

My friend Lily Cat over on Chiniba told me to check this place out, so here I am~! I'm Megami_Maxwell on most sites, but I like trying to get the shorter version where I can. (And I was way surprised to actually get it on here! X3) Um. I'm a little forum-shy, but I like to roleplay and debate, and once I get settled in somewhere I'm usually pretty sociable. I talk way too much (to cover up being nervous, usually, hurhur), and because I'm an airhead and a masochist, I usually get online way late at night and don't always make spectacular amounts of sense.

I'm twenty-one-years-old and majoring in Animation and Media Arts at the Art's Institute, but I've got a degree in Graphic Design~ I love anime and manga, but I'm kind of an old hag and haven't watched much new material in years. The 'Maxwell' in my name on other sites comes from Duo Maxwell, from Gundam Wing, because I was thirteen and fangirling, and I don't think I ever really got past the mid-nineties/early 2000s cartoon world. xD; I also cosplay from a number of series (most recently Yuugiou, Gundam Wing, and Hetalia, but I've done others @_@ And have more planned, oh god.), and I own some BJDs, as well as dabble in the Japanese language. I'm kind of all over the place. 8D

I love drawing and doing avatar art, too, so once I get a grasp on things around here, I might try to open up a shop or something, if those are allowed. I've still got to float around and actually meet everyone and read through all the rules and FAQ in total, but I wanted to post my "hello" post before I forgot.

im hoping to start university in September to study animation but i gotta wait to find out if i got the place, yet x.x;; *sigh* its making me really anxious.

You're going into animation too~? :3 What school, if I might ask? AI had barely any actual application involved, it feels like... My girlfriend went in, filled out paperwork, got a tour, and they basically told us we were in.

Think positively~ Putting good energy out there is better than worrying about it; it's kinda like wishing for something bad to happen. (Y'know, in theory. I think my brain's left the building.)

im in the UK, the uni im hoping to get into is a very small one in central london called Ravensbourne. they only have about 1400 students so i guess that adds to my anxiety, since spaces are so limited XD but hey, here's hoping. i'm not a fan of wait-and-see situations on the whole ;P

@Ecco - Ooh, that sounds exciting, though. Good luck! I hope you can get in. AI is the Arts Institute--the one I'm going to has a small campus, but the chain's fairly big. So far most of my classes haven't been very interesting. T_T I should really be doing my work for my final tomorrow, but I have liker zero interest in it. XD;;;

@Killerkitty - Links are above! You're not a big fan? D: Alas. There are some really good ones out there, but it's all really a selective taste type of thing. I wish they'd make an anime of Pheromomania Syndrome, that comic's super, super cute. XD

XD;; Everyone here seems so nice and friendly~ I feel really bad for ADDing on finals and taking so long to reply. xD; I am actually pretty bad at animation, but then, I haven't gotten to any classes that actually deal with it. I got to do a semester of flash at my old college, but it was more for web and portfolio-making. If the final project weren't so wonky, I'd link people. XD; Maybe someday soon...
