[OOC] Saint-Bridgit School for Mutants

Oh man! I had this crazy dream last night, concerning the role play.

Okay, so Jordan (Played by me, obviously) went to investigate the park. The place looked like some animal or something with large claws had been tearing a part of the woods apart. But there aren't any smells that say there's been anything bigger than a squirrel in the park besides humans.

I found a dead body, that looks like its' been ravaged by a wild animal. It's a set up. Anti mutant supporters planted the body in hopes that they could pin the murder on an unsuspecting mutant. And that's what I'm suspecting was the back story. Because my dream starts off in the court house where Jordan awaits trial for murder, semi- flashbacking.

It was strange, even for me. This is the second flashback type dream I can think of having.

And you shouldn't eat weird stuff before going to sleep.

I kinda like the idea of anti-mutant groups trying to catch mutants and making them look like awful monsters. And it would be a logical move for them.
Though, I'd prefer if it happened in a later part of the game, since if Jordan gets caught now, I don't have anyone to go help her... I mean, I guess the Renegades could do something, but that would probably only make things worst. And the Guardians need some more active members before they can do anything.

I wish I could remember my dreams, or at least the interesting ones. I only seem to remember the boring ones...

lol My Lei and Tse's Jordan are part of a group called the Guardians, and right now we are playing with kitties. And then I'm going to send Jordan on some crazy mission or something.

So we are one year in the future, and obviously the situation has changed a bit.

Hmm, yeah, it's hard to find a place for Runin.
I mean, he should probably be somewhere with the rest of his military group, or maybe a lower-ranked soldier of the G.I.G intervention force. Though, that still means you would be alone and not doing anything most of the time, since I don't plan on introducing the G.I.G into the story soon...
Unless you were freed of your duties for some time and/or ran away or something like that... which still doesn't make much sense.
Any idea?

Just kidding. Sorry to hear about your computer and your job. That bites. I had something similar happen not too long ago.

Let's see if I can sum everything all up, just so you're not needing to read the secondary intro Maeve so awesomely wrote and a bunch of posts that came afterwards.

The school was burned down by a group of mutants called the Renegades. Dr. Black smuggled out a handful of mutants in the chaos and escaped into the night. We did a flash forward by a year. Black and the mutants she had/ found banded together to create the Guardians. They are all living in an underground bunker somewhere. (It's like Black is Professor X and takes care of the X-Men. And the Renegades are like Magnetos' goons. If you want to be all technical like that.)

Black is going to have Jordan investigate some strange bestial sounds that have been heard in a nearby park, later on in the evening. In the meantime, Jordan and Lei are trying to figure out what to do with the kittens (and mother cat) they found in one of the empty coridoors.

Yeah, finding a jury and legal representation for our little mutants would be hard. Though, I guess it would be more like military court anyway. And you would get a lawyer, because they need to give you one, but of course, I don't think he would enjoy that...
It might be an interesting event in the future though. Maybe not for our little group, but yeah...

*goes to plot in secret somewhere*

I'm glad you liked my Cliff Notes version of the role play.

For some reason I was reminded of that episode of Disney's Gargoyles where Goliath was on trial for a crime he didn't commit. He was given a new lawyer that had no idea what she was doing as his legal representation. He set out to prove his innocence. And, because it wass made by Disney, he won the trial.

I hardly think that's how it would happen here, but it remended me all the same.

And stop plotting in secret. I want in too!

She might have got taken by the Renegades, because of her abilities and her madness. Is anyone playing them? Or are they in NPC-mode?

The Renegades are currently not being played due to the fact that there are only two people (Hopefully three soon. Hint hint.) in this particular role play. For now, players cn only be Guardians. But there might be a couple NPCs floating around. That's really up to Maeve, I believe. We must pester her about this.

But it's up to you as to what you want to have Lynx doing for the past year. For all we know, somewhere killing off her other parts and living as an urban myth. Or she escaped with Black's group and is at the Guardians' hideout, still in bed.
