((Not a big problem ^^))

"Nice to meet you, Cola," Clara said with a smile. She then looked down in the streets, wondering what the other people were doing. Getting eaten by zombies, probably, and running around trying to escape, she thought, feeling at the same time relieved and guilty for having found a safe place. It looked like zombies were not able to climb to walls, yet at least. She shook her head, trying to clear her thoughts.

"What do you think we should do next?" she asked at Hal, still looking at a group of roaring zombies down in he street below them.

Hal looked uncertain. In all of his plans he'd made-just in case this ever happened- he never though that he'd be stuck on his own roof.

"I'm not sure..." He eyed the zombies and shivered.

"I guess just wait it out...Zombies are attracted to blood, there isn't any up here, or at least not any shed blood...And-" He felt a lump in his throat. "T-that guy...there was a dead outside of my door but another zombie showed up...I'm sure he's been devoured already..."

Hal bit his lip. "They'll go away eventually as long as we're not to loud..."

Yuki wasn't sure what was going on, one moment she was standing over her bed deciding on what she was going to wear for her tour around the park and the next thing she knew there was a pounding on the door and a voice telling everyone to run for their lives. She was still a bit rough with her english but she understood that and wasn't sure what was going on. She did know a simple way to find out though as she turned on the small television in her small apartment on and caught the last part of the broadcast.

She didn't know what to do though as she quickly put on some jeans and a shirt and grabbed her pack she had ready for her tour. On her way out the door she heard a strange growl and a scream from the stairs, which left her with a choice to go down and find out what was happening or go up. She chose the safer one as she went up the flights of stairs until she got to the very top. She was relieved to find the door was unlocked, though when she opened it an alarm started to blare. Ignoring the alarm she made her way to the roof to find it void of anything but the usual. The door was closed now but she could hear something clawing at it.

The choices she had didn't seem very good since the only way to go was forward or down, and down wasn't an option she wanted to take. She took a deep breath and heard the door bust open, she didn't waste any time as she started to run and jumped over the edge, her pack going to the other roof but her hands just gripping the edge as she dangled there helplessly. Whatever was chasing her didn't stop and she felt it hit her back on the way down but luckily didn't grab on as she struggled to pull herself up. "Someone... please help!" she yelled at the top of her longs, hoping someone heard.

"Hmm," Clara just said, looking at the zombies down in the streets. They didn't seem too bright, which was surely a good thing for the remaining humans, but they had a good strength and stamina. "I wonder what can have caused that," she thought out loud, lost in her thoughts and not realizing it. She had only heard a little bit of what the TV and radio were saying before she had to run, and nothing of it was really useful.

Suddenly, a scream coming from somewhere behind them brought her back to reality. She was getting use to the sound of zombies, but this was clearly human. She turned her head around, trying to see where it was coming from, but only saw a pack... and a hand grabbing the side of the roof. Quickly, she got up and ran to it, yelling at Hal: "Come! There's someone there!" She reached her hand and grabbed the other's wrist as best as she could, though she wasn't strong enough to help the other climb up. She did her best to prevent the other, a girl from what she could saw now, from slipping, wondering at the same time from where she could have come.

The screams startled Hal and he swung his head around to see a pair of hands clutching the edge of the roof. He shot forward after Clara and grabbed the girls upper arms, helping to pull her up.

A crowd of zombies had gathered below, hissing upwards and clawing at the cement walls.

At first Yuki was a bit scared that the things grabbing her was the same as what had chased her on the roof. She was relieved to look at two normal humans when she was safely on the roof of that building. Bowing to show her gratitude she gave both of them a smile as she picked up her bag. She wasn't fluent in english so she hoped she didn't say anything wrong, though how everything was going she doubted they would care.

"Thank you, have you any idea what is happening?" she questioned since this didn't make any sense and she had never seen anything like this outside of manga or movies. The fact that there were others on the roof though a nice site since it meant maybe she could get some answers.

"Zombies," Hal said bluntly. He hesitated before bowing his head back to the young woman. Like most of the teens in his generation, he'd been interested in the Japanese culture. It was natural for him to have studied it though he didn't know how to speak it.

The woman's voice was heavily accented but one would have to listen closely to be able to tell that English was her second language. That might things a bit difficult later on...

But they'd just have to endure.

Clara smiled at the new girl and bowed her head. For some reason, she wasn't shocked to see someone new appearing like that. Probably because the zombies are much more strange than someone jumping on a roof, she thought.

"Yeah, zombies," Clara said, looking above the side of the roof to the zombies down in the streets. They were slowly going away, looking for new preys probably. She then looked at the other building, the one from which the new girl had jumped. The fact that a human could have jumped the distance between the two buildings was bothering her. After all, maybe zombies could jump too...

Her understanding of the term 'zombie' wasn't that greatest since her only connection was the living dead and she knew that couldn't be happening, though the more she thought about it the more she realized that was highly possible. She didn't really know what to say now since she didn't even have any words in her own language let alone in english, so for the time being she just stood there and looked at the two of them, following their words the best she could. Her heart was still beating fast, though that started to go down until she finally realized her wrist was hurting and it was a bit purple, she figured she must have sprained it from the jump.

Clara looked back at the new girl. She was a bit relieved to see there was still other people, or at least one other person, alive. She shivered at the thoughts, wondering what was happening to her family and friends, but quickly pushed those ideas back. It wasn't the time for that.

"Oh, I'm Clara, by the way," she said, blushing a little we she realized she had not introduced herself and smiling at the newcomers. "Nice to meet you!"

Hal gave the newcomer's gaze down at her purpling wrist and winced a little. It made him want to rub his own and make sure it wasn't injured...

Clara introduced himself and he felt a bit embarrassed that he hadn't thought to the same earlier. "I'm Hal, too bad our meeting isn't less...bad..."

Cola had trotted over to them now, not wanting to be left alone when all she could smell was death. She sat beside Hal's leg somewhat protectively and he gave her a pat on the head. "And this is Cola."

She looked at them and nodded, understanding they were introducing themselves, "I'm happy to meet you, I'm Yuki." she said as she nodded before looking over at the landscape and all the signs of destruction, "Very bad." She was clueless now, she had no idea how to survive something like this, let alone in a foreign country. That made her think, was the same thing happening in her homeland. "We should discover what is happening and where."

As a loud bang was heard Kai rolled over and covered his head with his pillow. He just returned from college, but he hasn't quite graduated yet. Photography is what he was trying to major in. He liked visual things, and bringing pictures to life. Everything has a story behind it. Another loud bang, caused him to roll over with the pillow pulled tightly over his head. Were the neighbors having construction done?

His parents were supposidly out food shopping and his little brother was playing Xbox in the basement. Ever since Kai got home he had been napping often and sleeping in. A louder bang that sounded inside the house jolted Kai out of bed.

"Hunter!?" Screamed Kai, who was still in his boxers. The only reply he got from his younger brother was a series of terrified screams. Kai quickly scanned his room looking for some sort of weapon, incase there was a break in. All he could find was his swiss army knife his father gave him sitting on his dresser. He picked it up, opened it, and ran out of the room.

"Kai!! Come down here, hurry and get in the van!" He followed his father's voice towards the garage. He opened the door and was met by chaos. A bunch of infected green people who looked alot like the zombies from his younger brother's video game Left 4 Dead, were filling his garage and trying to attack his family. He noticed that his father and mother were both in the car already. His younger brother was trying to open the sliding back door to their van, as a zombie walked unsuspectingly up behind him.

"Hunter! Hurry up!" He looked at me alarmed, when this happened the zombie jumped onto his back. With what sounded like a cry of war, Kai ran towards the zombie and stabbed it in the eye and pushed it off his brother's back. "Come on, hurry into the car." Kai grunted.

As his brother hurried into the car, Kai quickly searched around the garage for weapons that he could use on anymore zombie encounters. He grabs a heavy duty nail gun, an electric fly swatter, a crowbar, and a screw driver. Quickly he slides open the door to the van and hops in with his parents, and brother. "Takes these," he says and gives everyone a weapon and keeps the crowbar for himself, while putting the knife in his pocket.

Without any further or do, his father steps on the gas and floors it out of the garage, crushing, decking, and killing 3 or 4 zombies in the process, and hitting a curb in the process. Everyone screamed, except for Kai and his father, as the car was thrown into forward and sped away from the zombies.

After a half hour of driving and dodging broken down cars and pedestrians begging to get into their car, they found themselves in New York. The car put putted to a stop as it ran out of gas, leaving them in from of some sort of apartment building, as well as some others.

"What do we do now?" his mother asked his father, who responded, "We can't stay in here. We gotta find some sort of shelter if we want a chance."
Zombies began to surround the car, scraping at the windows. "We have to get out now before more come." Kai said in recognition. "Quickly!" he hissed.

On the count of four his family opened their doors and used the weapons he had handed out to ward off zombies. His brother swatted at a zombie who had been scraping at his door, with the electric fly swatter, setting it on fire. His mother didn't seem to be doing to well with her staple gun. The zombie continued to attack her as if the staples were simple bug bites. One of the zombies swatted at her head, knocking her to the ground. At that moment all the zombies attacking us surrounded Kai's mother, and began devouring her flesh. She screeched in fear and pain, and writhed about on the street.

"MOM!" he heard his brother scream at the top of his lungs, trying to swatted at the zombies surrounding her. His mother's screaming came to a stop and her body was still. Kai couldn't atand to look at her, she looked disgusting. His brother was crying so hard that snot was pouring out of his nose, and his father was crying just as the same.

As more zombies came to surround them Kai ran towards a drain spout that was connected to the apartment building and pulled himself up, with his strong arms. He crained his head around to call for his brother and father to follow them, but they seemed to disappear in the chaos. As another zombie came to potentially devour him, he turned around and pulled himself up the drain spout. As he reached the topped he climbed onto the roof and saw three other people.

Out of breath he walked slowly towards the three other people, without saying a word and sat down with his hands on his knees and for the first time since he was eight, began crying.

Hal grabbed for his bat when he something move over the edge of the roof, calming when he saw the guy wasn't a zombie. He eyed him closes though, just in case.

The man sat down and Hal bored his eyes into him, checking for any signs of bites or areas that could possibly be infected by the disease...

There were none, but he didn't release his grip on his bat.

"What's your story?" He asked in a monotone voice. That guys eyes scared him.

Yuki didn't even hear the person coming until he started crying as she turned her head to watch for a moment, not really saying anything since she had little doubt she would make it worse. So for now she could only watch awkwardly as she looked around before getting hungry. She pulled out her bag and took a small wooden bow out, inside were five riceballs she had made for her tour, though she doubted that was going to happen as she picked one up and started to eat it, figuring it was better to do it now then when they might be running for their lives. She looked at each of them and offered one, "It will help with running and energy." she commented to explain why she could eat at such a time like this.
