Winter Solstice Roleplay '09! - UPDATE: 1st post

[Duro Lavoro]

Duro stayed near the doorway as the brunette got her friend situated and smiled. "The pleasure is mine." He managed another look at the woman before Maeve shut the door between them.

"It was no problem. Does this type of thing happen often?" He tilted his head at her sudden shyness but decided to ignore it. He couldn't think of anything other than the girl's safety.

[Farfalla Hielo]

[Maeve]

"No, I think," Maeve said, trying to remember anything Irenia could have done or told her. "But I only met her recently," she added, interiorly blaming herself for not having watch over the other. It was what she did, usually, watching over others and helping them. Or at least she thought so.

She shook her head and brought her attention to Duro. "I'll stay with her, just in case," she said. "Surely, you must have more important things to do."

[I walk with Time]

Eclipse looked at the delicate box in her hands and opened it, revealing a beautiful crystal brooch. She took it and pinned it on her dress, bowing again, "Thank you again, Your Majesty. I think I have something for you as well." She cupped her hands and blew into them. Soon there was a delicate rose of made of ice with blue veins in it. She offered the rose to Her Majesty Farfalla.

[Eimara Hielo]

Eimara stepped back a bit. Did he hit his head? 'Well, I guess this could be normal for foreigners.' She clenched her teeth, knowing that she should take a look at his knee, but afraid at the sight of it. Instead of looking though, she turned around and faced the city. The girl stayed silent for a while before turning back to the boy. "Uh... uh..." She glanced to the city and then to the boy again. Stomping her foot, she screamed. "Ugh, whatever!" Before he could respond, she took off.

[Miyani-chan]

Minh stared at the girl who had a difficult time making up her decision, and then simply chuckled when she stomped off looking like she was angry. It was funny to see the sudden changes in her expression. He had an urge to say 'females these days...' but he kept his mouth shut, since she might have heard of what he said and get a chance of getting even more hurt.
"Ne.. I should probably start thinking about how to get back to the city without looking like an idiot..." He whispered to himself, his voice muffled into his scarf. Minh closed his eyes, and started to chuckle.

[Duro Lavoro]

"Hmm," He stared at the floor in thought until Maeve spoke again. His eyes went wide as he remembered his obligation to look for Eimara, but he was worried about this woman now too. "Yes, Eimara..." He sighed. "I do have to go, but I'd like to see if she... Irenia, was it? I'd like to see if she'll be okay, so would it be alright if I visit later?"

[Maeve]

"Sure," Maeve said with a warm smile. "I think we'll stay here for some time, so you know where to find us. I'll return to her side now, if you don't mind," she added, not wanting to to be rude, but not wanting to let the other alone for too long either. She saluted Duro politely and waited for him to leave before she re-entered her room, gently closing the door behind her.

The woman walked to her bed and dropped her bag, which had been on her shoulder all the time, on it. She sat down beside it, resting her back against the headboard, and reached into one of the pockets to grab a leather notebook. She took a look at Irenia, but she still looked the same. With a sigh, Maeve opened her book and started skipping through the entries, trying to find something that could help her.

Eclipse smiled, she was glad the Queen liked the gift.
"I've taught myself, I can make more for you, Your Majesty, if you wish," Eclipse offered.

[Duro Lavoro]

"Okay then, goodbye." Duro hurried down the hallway, already thinking about the next place to look for Eimara.

[Eimara Hielo]

Eimara entered the city and slowed down, glancing about the large crowd. She asked a shop owner who pointed her toward an inn, and Eimara left the person without a response. She approached the innkeeper upon entering the building but found Duro walking down the stairs. "Duro!" She ran up to him, grabbing the man's hand and pulling him down the stairs and out of the inn. She was outside of the city before turning back to him. "Someone's hurt, and I don't wanna look at it." She didn't give him time to respond before returning to the injured boy, stopping a few feet away from him and pushing Duro in his direction.

"Take care of it." She stepped back a bit more but held onto Duro's shoulder, staring at the boy's knee in worry.

[Lunar]

Lunar's eyes dotted over to the doorway, it appeared Her Majesty had at last arrived in the grand room.
She was hesitant to approach her, considering she seemed busy greeting the other guests and also, Lunar had to admit, she was a little nervous.
She carefully placed her empty champagne flute down on the tray one of the waiters was collecting glasses on, and reached into her satchel, producing her gift which was meant for the queen.

[Farfalla Hielo]

Farfalla smiled brightly. "That would be lovely! I know such a thing would be perfect for my daughter." She noticed that some guests were being ignored and gestured toward the back of the room with the rose. "Would you mind following me back here though? I need to get more gifts to hand out."

[I walk with Time]

"It's no problem, um...what colors would you want them in, Your Majesty?"
Eclipse followed Farfalla to the back room to help her hand out the gifts.
