Winter Solstice Roleplay '09! - UPDATE: 1st post

[Fuzzey]

Candie's walked through the chilly outskirts of the city as she searched for a place with other people.She strained her ears for a sound,but all she could hear were the tiny ice crystals crushing under her feet.She fixed her scarf so it would drape over her cold lips and kept walking.Then out of nowhere Candie stumbles into a hole dug by one of the animals.Her ankle twists and gets stuck inside the deep burrow.She pulls on her leg countless times,but it won't budge.She begins to worry that it won't come out,and get more paranoid and paranoid.Finally,it budges and she stumbles off into the darkness.
After some while of walking and getting her hair stuck in trees,Candie spots dim lights and runs towards them.She enters what looks like a city,filled with tiny ice houses.Not many people are here,but she feels better now that she is around other people.She goes up to a little doorstep and sits down to feel her throbbing foot,which didn't hurt much anymore.

Maeve woke up in her room, her thoughts a bit blurry. She sat up and shook her head, trying to remember what had happened. Irenia... the kitten... the inn... She looked around her. The other bed was empty, but the blanket had been moved and replaced. Her bag was placed just beside her. She shook her head one more time and got up, stretching her arms and back.

Th girl then headed to the bathroom and took a short shower. Conversation... The meal... Talking about meal... Her stomach growled as she was drying her hair. She went back to her room and put on some fresh clothes, looking herself up in the mirror before exiting the room, her bag on a shoulder as usual. She locked the door behind her and headed down to the main room to grab something to eat.

She sat at a table close a window after having order a nice breakfast. Looking through it, she realized it was hard to tell what hour it was, or how much time had passed. The streets were lit, but the sky always seemed dark, like a perpetual night. Soon, a young ice dragon waitress came and placed a nice platter in front of her, bringing her back to reality. She started to eat, trying to remember the rest of yesterday.

You were listening to Irenia's story about how her and Lorin had found milk and a blanket. And then you both finish eating. Irenia said something about going to bed, or maybe it was putting Lorin to bed? She headed to the room and you stayed down here, talking with a small group of travellers. Then there was a blank, and she remembered getting up to her room and falling asleep quickly.

Maeve shook her head once more. She didn't felt like she had took alcohol, or anything else that could explain her lack of memories. It's probably nothing, to much sleep or something like that, she thought, getting up and exiting the inn after thanking the inn employees. She headed down the streets, not realizing she was going toward the castle.

The female Ice Dragon who was putting on the whip cream and sprinkles for him finished and returned Minh's mug. But then soon Luna took his mug, which was already filled with whip cream, and said a food spell that added even more whip cream onto the other layer of whip cream. Luna gave him the mug back. "Better?" she said.
"Uhh..." Minh was really unsure of what to say, since there was too much whip cream now. He wasn't really sure if he'd be able to drink the hot chocolate at all. "Yeah, the more whip cream the better...!" He told her and laughed in a nervous tone.
Minh pulled down his scarf away from his mouth, and then held up his filled up mug of hot chocolate(mainly whip cream) near his mouth. He stuck out his tongue and began licking the whip cream. The whip cream felt really foamy in his mouth for some reason. 'This is a strange taste...' He thought in his head, and simply continued on licking the foam.

Luna laughed at his reaction and said after he'd started drinking it, "It's not poison! It won't kill you..."
So far, Luna couldn't tell whether this boy was going to be a new friend or another person to add to the list of people who feared her.

[Miyani-chan]

Minh stopped licking the whip cream, and turned to her.
"No, no! It's not that!" He exclaimed, "The whip cream! It tastes really foamy! It's just different!" Minh laughed and continued on eating the whip cream that Luna made.
"Ah, but the sprinkles are good!" He smiled to her brightly. Minh was having fun, and it was probably the second time he was able to interact with someone else and be able to have fun with them, other than his sister.

Luna smiled, sipping at her own hot chocolate. "I'm glad that you like it! Well, what are we gonna do now?"

[Miyani-chan]

"Hmmm, I'm not sure," He said, pondering. "Ah, there's the castle! Isn't there a ball there, too? We can always head there. I mean, we're allowed in there, right? It's the winter event!" Minh nodded. 'There's probably some food there... too...' Minh was still hungry, since he didn't get to eat too much food before he left for the event, and he didn't just want to last on hot chocolate for the rest of the event.

"But I don't think people are allowed in the castle without invitation and i'm not sure where the ball room is either..." Luna said, but thought to her self, And i wanted to go iceskating...

[Miyani-chan]

"Oh, okay then..." He said, "Well, then I don't know... I'm new around here anyways, and I'm just here for the event... Well, what do you want to do? As long as I have my hot chocolate, I don't really care about what we do... anything is fine with me." Minh shrugged, and finally finished the layer of whip cream that Luna made.

Luna looked up at the sky, sipping her hot chocolate. "Well...i wanted to go iceskating, but i don't know if they have a place where we can do that either...it's seems to be a lose-lose situation here, Mihn," Luna said, still looking up at the sky as it started to snow softly.

[Miyani-chan]

"Well, it's only a lose-lose situation," Minh started to lick off some parts of the other layer of whip cream, "if we don't look for an ice rink. It won't hurt to look for one, right?" He blinked at her for a few moments, seeing her look up at the sky. He looked up at it too. 'Snow...? Ah, she would like that, if she was here.' Minh started to wonder about her for awhile, and then resumed back to eating the whip cream.

Luna looked at him from the corner of her eye and had to laugh. The whip cream was all across his mouth. "You're right, so should we get going then?"

[Miyani-chan]

Minh started to lick off the whip cream from his face.
"Yeah, sure." He nodded, "Which way do you want to go first?"

Luna shrugged, "I dunno...how about we go right...'cause right is always a good way to start!"

[Miyani-chan]

"Okay." Minh shrugged, and walked to their right. They followed a path that led them to different places, but none of the sights they yet saw were an ice rink.
