| Hai, all.
I'm JL. I'm also known over the net as JLimited, JLtd, Kiirook or just plain Rook.
I'm a 16 year-old Australian. Uh-huh.
..I'm female. Let's get that down.
I will study to become a Veterinarian when I attend University, and I'm currently in year ten, going to year eleven. ONce you have me talking, it's unlikely I'll stop.
I have Chronic Depression. It affects my moods, emotions and friendships a lot of the time.
I'm going through a rough patch in life, so if I'm upset, leave me.
I LOVE art. I own a five inch Wacom Bamboo, in case you're wondering what medium I mainly use.
I can also paint (oil, acrylic, watercolour), sketch and ink, carve (soap or wood), sculpt (clay), sew and embroider pillows and plushies, work with shells, leaves and glassware, origami, knit, work with food and candle wax.
I've been told I'm a good photographer, too.
My username? JLtd has been with me a long time.
J = Jaimee (First name)
Ltd = Limited (I have a limited temper)
It says a lot about me. You don't want to cross me.
..Seriously.
Alternatively, JL is for Jaimee Leigh. My first and second names.
Only my good friends call me JL, though.
I love writing, and am currently having a teen fiction trilogy published. Don't worry, no vampires or werewolves.
It is mainly for these reasons that I can NOT stand n00bs, or illiterate people.
I do, however, like to use "kawaii" terms, such as *nom*, *glomp*, *huggle*, "Orly?", "Ohaidere!", and "haii".
Do NOT message me and say: hey im new just liek u can we b frendz.
Just, no. Either use the education you have, or leave me the HECK alone. >.>
I don't believe that you have a computer, yet not an education. It's illogical.
Surprisingly enough, I hate roleplaying.
Other sites I can be found on:
Deviantart
Wajas
Neopets
Lurapets
(Removed for Advertising)
GPXPlus
Neurogalaxy
Subeta
Squiby
Valenth
Chicken Smoothie
If you want to know my username for any of these, mail me.
..PM me if you want to know why I HATE MWC. (My Warrior Cats)
So hi.
I'm really lost, and I've got NO idea what to do. I'd appreciate any help. x33

| Why hello there~! Sorry about the PM. ^^'
What do you have no idea about? I'm not usually the best at helping people, but it couldn't hurt.
You don't really have to worry about people who talk like that on Mido. Just watch out for those hooligans who send you messages in the chatspeak.
We use the 'kawaii' words a lot though...

| Don't listen to Ace. In the time I've been here, I don't think I've seen a single person use the word, 'kawaii'. But then, I seem to limit the areas I lurk in. So, someone might have said it, and I'm not aware of it.
Anyhoo, we're a pretty friendly group, here in Midorea. If you have any questions, we'd be more than happy to help out.

| I didn't mean they used the word Kawaii. I mean they use the cutesy terms like glomp or nom.
Sort of like the examples she gave...

x3 It's okay, guys. x33 I understand.
You guys are really friendly.
I can't say I expected flesh-eating monsters, either. You guys are awesome. <33
Kekeke... I'm rather unsure of what to do regarding the affiliations, classes and elements, and what the little boxes are. The blue sparkly ones.

| What sparkly boxes?
As far as I know, the only thing alignment affects is whether or not you can use certain weapons. Four of them, if I remember right.
The elements you pick affects where you start out at with your skills. Right now the only skill you can use is the Forge. So if you want to pick an element that helps I'd go with one that adds to that skill. If not, just pick whichever one you like best.
The element of your weapon does something too, but I never use weapons with elements so I don't really know what it is.
What are you unsure about with the classes?

The Winter Solstice Gifts.
Ahhh~ Thank you!
The classes... just... what are they?

| Welcome to Midorea!
Uh, classes are classes. They simply show what kind of fighting strategy you prefer (physical attack, magical attack, etc.). They influence the basic stats of your character: your starting amount of hp and mp (and defence, I think), and how much of those you will get each time you level up. So it basically depends of your fighting style. For newbies, I always suggest having a warrior, preferably from the Basat Iqui or Zuntai tribe, as those gave the most strength/ dexterity/ constitution bonuses, which is always good for a fighter.
Element will mostly affect your skills, and since the only one we can use is forging, I suggest picking either metal, fire, or energy, as they all give a +1 forging skill bonus. Metal would probably be the best though, as I think fire might cause problem against water monsters...

I don't mind, though. I'll get by.
