So, maybe this should be in the Information Kiosk Forum, but, well...it's two things. The first is a thing I've been meaning to ask about for a while, but it wasn't a big deal so I just pretty much ignored it, however I started using Firefox last night (after getting sick of IE's bull), and saw it was different and thought "ooh".
However, the second is more of a help question. But still, they're both sort of, feedback more than anything else, along with asking if anyone else has experienced the same stuff.

So...yeah. tl;dr: feel free to move this to the Information Kiosk if it fits better, 'cause I don't know DERP.

First thing is that I noticed the end lines of posts of a certain length get cut off. I found a way around it by adding a final line with a "~" or ".", or if using BBCode, putting a new line before the closing of things.
ANYWHO. I noticed last night that when using Firefox, it was different. I even has a picture for y'all to show! Happy
Here it be. I noticed the top of the speech bubble doesn't have the broken top part, which was curious. Figured I might as well bring it up as a topic of discussion. lolwat

Second thing is that I had a problem last night, and it's the same tonight. I am currently having to use IE to log into Mido, because I am unable to do so using Firefox. Last night I came here in a Firefox browser and was already logged in. Everything was cool. I came back later to find I was logged out. Tried logging in. It went back to the main page, but I was still logged out.
I tried logging in several times; it didn't work. Tried with my mule, Xavier von Fluffypuppies; still didn't work.
I'm able to log in using IE, and everything's fine. It's just confusing and I wondered if anyone else had experienced this problem with Firefox.

Well, enough of my ramblanz. DISCUSS! O LAWD DISCUSS! Oh Mai
Also random poll for fun.

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. I don't know what I did to fix it, but it doesn't happen anymore.

Try putting a www. in front of midorea.com when you're using firefox. That how I got to mido while it wasn't working.

Oh nuts. I just tried it, and it did see it as a different site because it asked if it wanted me to save the information, which it had stopped doing before due to me giving an answer.

Unfortunately when it went from the log in page it got rid of the "www." and so it didn't work. :/ WtfFirefox.

But thanks for the help, Ace~ ^u^ Bouncy Heart

I actually have the pages cut off like you said. But they do that in Firefox somethings too for me, not just IE. :/

I've always used Firefox since I'm on Mido and got no problem with it.

Maybe it depends of the version you're using? Or maybe try clearing you cache and stuff, and any previous password you might have saved for Midorea (somewhere in the options, under security I think).

FFFFF forgot about this thread for several days. ಠ_ಠ

@ A.D: Oh that's weird. I wonder what it is then. ,:/

@ Maeve: That is an excellent idea. I tried just clearin' the ol' cache and it didn't work. I'll check the saved passwords stuff and which version I'm using.

Thanks y'all~ ;D

Edit: Cleared cache and cookies this time, and it worked. So, I'm assuming it was a cookies issue. Lolwtf.

Hopefully even if I get the same problem it'll work in future now. Fingesr crossed. x(>o<)x

EVERY. SINGLE. TIEM. you make a post I am reminded of how much I freaking <3 yew. WHICH IS LOTS MUCH BBY ;D

Hmmm I've never had the logging problem with firefox, but the site does look different in IE. The things you pointed out and some images(like the logo) which have a transparent background in firefox have a white background in IE, which is a little ugly.

Now the big question is this the correct forum...

You probably haven't gotten a response from Cat due to the forum it is in, but at the same time you also want to have a discussion...

Okay, since everything is okay now I'm going to lock this thread. If you wanna make a thread to discuss Midorea in IE vs Firefox vs Chrome vs etc... make a discussion thread in the City Square forum. If you have this problem again make a thread in the information kiosk. ^_^
