| "That's good," Lani announced. "I'm not sure if there would be many places more beautiful or even equal in beauty to this tavern. It even smells nice inside, it has more of a coffee smell then alcohol, and it's a delicate aroma that blends nicely with the extraordinary scenery."
Lani happily breathed in her surroundings and smiled.
"And, it's ever so relaxing."

| 'Yeah,' Ae said. 'I've been in taverns where you couldn't see your glass on the table for all the cigarette smoke. I always found another place to stay.'

| "Oh that sounds horrible, the stench in those places, I don't think I could stand it one moment," Lani retorted as she received a sudden, vivid visual image of such a place.

| Ae smiled at her. 'They're easy to spot, once you get used to it,' she said. 'If you look in the windows and can't see anything, avoid it.'

| Ae nodded. 'Oh well,' she said. 'I guess every town needs a bad place to make the people who don't go there feel better and the ones who do feel like they're not alone.'

| The wooden door of the run-down tavern swung open with a audible creak, admitting another visitor into the crowded building. Silent black boots, worn by travel and use, carried the newcomer in. The door drifted closed, issuing another loud complaint before clicking into the frame, as the figure made its way to an abandoned table and unceremoniously took a seat.
This new patron was garbed all in black, a black tunic and black breeches, dulled slightly by dust, under a long black cloak. A hood and scarf hid the person's features from the prying eye, of which there seemed to be many.
Seemingly uninterested in the bustling tavern scene, the figure tapped its boot rhythmically against the wooded floor, glancing around impatiently as minutes ticked by.
OOC: I noticed the tavern lacked an ominous figure, so here I am.

| (OoC : Awesome *grin*)
Lani noticed the door of the tavern admitting a new patron who held a curious but ominous air about them, a sudden pang of recognition over came her.
She stood from her place in the lovely lush grass.
"I'm going back inside, I might see you later," she bid her new acquaintance farewell. "I-I have to go."
She then allowed fate and destiny to predetermine her next motion, which as she anticipated, led her to the tavern door and back into the building.
Lani spotted the ominous fiend from the other side of the tavern, she struggled to make her though the rambunctious crowd, and approached the near stranger.
"You," she announced. "Where do I know you from...???"

| ((Ooc: ooh, I wanna join! I haven’t tavern-RP for a while Sorry if my English is bad, don't hesitate to tell me if what I say is unclear :S )
Bounty Hunter… Unemployed Bounty hunter to be more specific. Gunnar sneered at the idea, patting the varnished wooden handle of the short but powerful riffle he uses to carry tied to his belt, dangling from the side of his hips like the sheathed sword of any musketeer.
Musketeer? Ha! Of course he had nothing of a musketeer: he was a Chayser, a 6,2 feet tall anthropomorphic reptile with broad chest and shoulders, quite resembling to some sort of athletic barbarian if you do not consider the fact Chaysers display no external ear, no hairs or hair, a prognathic facial, slits instead of a fully shaped nose and a smooth snake-like silvery scales covering the entire body…
No, in fact he was more of a highway cowboy, careless and very confident, dearly enjoying irritating the ones he confronts while staying as cool as one can be… But beware when he is no longer amused: Gunnar would easily turn into the “shoot first ask question later” kind of person.
The reptile man halted in the middle of the dusty path, carefully observing his surroundings with his piercing slate blue eyes: the traveler he encountered showed him the way to get to the closer tavern, or so the guy said, but Gunnar started to wonder if that man was in fact telling the truth. However, just as the idea of going back in town and beating up the man who fooled him came to his mind, he noticed an isolated building surrounded by forest at the far end of the road, a small figure entering it hastily from the distance.
“’Guess that’s the place…” Gunnar noted with a touch of irony in his tone, already heading toward the tavern.
When he finally reached the door, he readjusted the panel and the collar of his coat –of a design inspired by military officer uniforms– he made sure his dear riffle was still in place and pushed open the door to get in. He quickly contemplated the room he came in, the crowd, the bar behind the crowd… A cocky smile on his thin lips, he confidently walked to the other end of the tavern, going straight for the place where the alcohol was.

| OOC: Neat sketch. And yes, it's hard to dislike Tavern RPs.
The figure glanced toward the door as it opened with another painful moan, only glancing quickly at the new patron, a girl of quite attractive visage, though hardly very remarkable, before turning away again, obviously quite disappointed. The excessive tapping of boot against wood resumed.
The figure didn't look up again until it was quite sure that said girl was standing just behind it. The tapping slowed to a halt, and the figure slowly turned around, looking its visitor up and down with eyes still hidden by its hood.
"You. Where do I know you from?" The manor in which she spoke was quite stately. Demanding, almost.
The question itself caught the figure slightly off-guard, though nothing in its demeanor would suggest such. Instead it looked once more into space, a humorless smile hidden under its scarf.
"I haven't the faintest idea. By all means, please inform me." Its voice was colder than ice as it responded, though very reserved, almost bored, and quite distinguishably female.
