(Gluten which is in wheat, oats, barley and rye. So I have to have special gluten-free bread, pasta, cereal (even goddamn Rice Krispies, who boast of their simplicity, aren't gluten-free anymore >:C), cake, pastry, even gotta check sausages as many have gluten of some form in the skins.
However, going without or paying extra every now and again for things beats the incredible pain of the stomach cramps and the cold sweats on the toilet at three in the morning. D: Plus my mom has it too, so I've been eating a lot of gluten-free things all my life. And I are not alone. c:)
