I am new in town and trying to learn the best way to find what I should buy that someone else is willing to buy from me, so I can make a profit. I want to buy anything related to fallen deities but I don't have enough silver. How do I build up my supply of silver without selling the "shirt" off my bod?

As far as silver goes, posting will get you some (but don't bury old topics just to do that), and battling will also get you some.

And, btw, I thought I was the only one who says "Howdy" these days. I'm glad to see someone else use it. Outside of the "hey howdy hey" from work

Yes, silver can be earn by posting and battling, at least until you can get rich enough to by other items and play the market. I suggest you start by checking the event going on right now. You could get some special items out of it, and of course a little silver too.
