Ah... most cooking is easy. < w <
It is.
Most of it.
But not the hard stuff. It's hard.
Which is mostly stuff I haven't heard of. Like whatever it is your making.
Stuff like Mac & Cheese, and Spaghetti, and Cake. It's amazingly easy and I'm amazingly good at it.
But that's about it. x3

Tomorrow I'm hoping to cook breakfast for Raz because he's coming over. :]

The bad part is that I've never cooked breakfast before. D: I'm not a breakfast person so I've never even made a fried egg.

But my fried chicken is good. xP

I don't know how to make fried eggs either?
I can do... scrambled... and sunny side up sometimes.
You can do it! Or try! x3

It's the thought that counts, right? xP

Maybe you should just plan on waking up reeeeally early and going out and buying something.

You're doing more than me. I'd just poof some cereal. Actually, I'd probably try to con somebody else into doing it for me.

I like cooking, especially if I'm trying something new. :] And Raz is a garbage disposal, so the food will be eaten one way or another, haha.

I don't cook often, but it's pretty intuitive when I do. I generally stick to things other family members have taught me. I don't even use measuring cups, I just put in what 'looks about right'. Most of the food I eat is instant microwavable stuff, so I usually only cook when I want a sugar fix. French toast, rice pudding, cookies, brownies, pancakes; that kind of thing. I don't usually cook *food* food unless I'm out of the other stuff, and then it's mostly simple stuff like pasta, burgers, or chicken. I might not be a master chef, but at least I can cook better than my mother (the woman could burn boiling water). The main reason I don't cook more often is because I hate doing dishes, but I have to admit I like hearing the compliments when I cook for others. I like it even better if some other bloke volunteers to clean up.

I can agree with cooking not being easy. Unless I'm doing it with someone usually my best friend(which I love to do, we have made carrot cake, and pumpkin pie and all kinds of stuff together), I can basically only follow instructions on a box. Even then, I once exploded the microwave with Rice-A-Roni.

Everything was going fine, until I had to microwave for 17-20 minutes. my microwave is a little stronger so I did 16. Then I went into my room and started an episode of my favorite TV show at the time, Quantum Leap. Somewhat through it, I paused and went out to check on the rice. It had a minute and about twenty seconds left. I stopped it and opened the door to check because I thought maybe it was done enough to stop a little early. Well I opened the door to a cloud of smoke that filled the kitchen and the whole living room area of my apartment with the smell. I was freaking out, turning on fans trying to get the smoke to clear but nothing was working. I was very close to running to the manager for help, but then I took the destroyed bowl and cover from the microwave and proceeded out to take it to the dumpster and I noticed that finally the smoke was clearing. I still am not completely sure what happened except maybe my using a plastic bowl when it said glass but it was the biggest bowl we had. The kitchen stunk for about a week, a long time it seemed.

I also tried to make tater tots once, and there are like three different ways to cook them, so I followed the what looked like easy enough stove instructions. It says 1/4 cup oil in a pan. Yes that seems like a bit much but that's what it said and I haven't the skill to question it. But when I set the tater tot on it started sparking off like fireworks, and I freaked out, yanked it from the stove and ruined my mom's plastic place mat that she keeps in her coffee making area.

Now Macoroni and Spaghetti I can make fine on my own I know how to boil water and stir the noodles which is basically all that is. If you gave me a recipe and told me to follow it I wanna believe I probably could but I would prefer supervision.

I find cooking extremely easy. XD; I think it depends on the person, really. Some people just can't cook, some stick to the recipes word for word, and some just completely go off on their own. xD
But from my own experiences I prefer to cook, even though I'm lazy, because when I let other people cook bad things happen. It either turns out horrible or the house is being burned down. n_n

@Chu how did your breakfast turn out for Raz? 8D

Cooking CAN be easy. It depends on what you make.

I can make the best scratch pancakes and cinnamon bread known to man, but I have no idea how to make spaghetti. >.<

Making home-baked bread without a bread maker is HARD. T.T

Yeah I would not know how to make spaghetti sauce, I can only just pour it on from a jar. But a friend of mine's mom has the most awesome sauce I have ever tasted. She made it once when I went on a trip to Lake Tahoe with them. I could not believe how good it was...but I never did get the recipe and I don't see that friend anymore she went all emo and moved far away with her on and off boyfriend. She does not get along with her parents currently, she doesn't like them.

My mom also adds stuff to a certain type of store bought sauce. It's really good too.

I use jar sauce too, unless I'm following a recipe. Those are easy though, can of tomato sauce, can of tomato paste, some diced tomatoes [fresh or can], some people add BBQ sauce, a pinch of brown sugar, and Italian seasonings [basil, bay leaves, that sorta stuff], maybe salt and pepper. Also mushrooms, onions, meat balls and or sausage is good too.
