I've never been in an earthquake. I'm glad we don't get them here. It's one less thing to worry about with all the other crap we get.

I remember lying in bed one night when there was an earth tremor, the sad thing is though for the few seconds it lasted I wasn't scared because I though it was someone getting up downstairs and moving around. I only found out the next day what it was when it was on the news, some students said they though it was terrorists attacking even though it was only like four seconds of slight shaking, a few of their bricks had fallen off their probably already lose chimney but that was all. I figured they had most likely been been high or drunk... seemed like that was what they'd been doing anyway with the way they sounded.

Where I live right now has earthquakes many time a day. But they're so small, it doesn't feel like much. D:
So I can technically say that I've been through an earthquake. I just haven't been through an earthquake that is really strong. D:
I've been asking my parents about having an emergency preparedness kit for earthquakes, but so far we aren't really doing anything about it.
But the good thing is that my school tells us about earthquakes and stuff, and we have drills for earthquakes, too.
