I'm wondering why, I'm not earning sliver in the rps but Copper, in the 1X1 section but in the OCC Section, I get Sliver, please explain to me?

I would assume that it was a personal choice made by Catghost and or AriKana. . .

Ok, well I would like one of them to answer, it seem unfair, that people who roleplay in one-on-ones can't get sliver and only the newbie money, which doesn't even exchange well.

well in all honesty you get more copper then you do get silver. . . Also it kinda makes sense to me for the same reason as the fun and games section. Its too easy to talk a lot on your own and not really do much to earn the silver.

with one on one rping you are basically or almost just having a chat between two people. . . That could easily be held in personal messages.

But i hope they can give you an answer that you find acceptable.

Not really rping one-on-one is done for people who like rping and can't really do well in group rps. Also, thread rping is better for people who want to keep track of all you write you can do that in pms. I still don't understand the reasoning behid this. No everyone is good with talking with groups of people in the sliver earning threads or the battle sytem.

Honestly I do understand the issue of talking and or rping in a large group. However I dont see why you couldn't rp with someone on a one on one basis in a rp with others. . . A lot of times thats how i see rps go. . . they break down to a bunch of groups of two's.

Anyways. . . its not up to me. . . but I hope that Cat or Ari can explain the reason behind it better then I can.

All and all you do still earn a currency and you can convert it to silver. . . sorry that it doesn't seem like enough to you.

Ari chose to make it so you only earn copper in the 1x1 RP.
This is to prevent abuse, and also like Hiro said you can earn copper allot easier than silver.
Perhaps Ari could explain it a little better when she gets back..

Truthfully... I don't know. But that's what Arikana said is the reason she set it to copper.

Oh, the only abuse I could see is one person having alot of one-on-ones, but then again I don't see that as a problem unless the are rps that break the rules, or unless your like kinsaki and like you can only have three threads in the rping area.

Most sensible vision of abuse in 1x1 Roleplays:

A thread is set up amongst two people who only want all the silver. So, they go in and post stuff like this:

*I walk in*

"Hello!"

*takes a seat and drinks beer*

That post right there would take all of 5 to 15 seconds for someone to write, and would get them, probably, 10 silver, maybe more if they're using a lot of BBCode.

Then, the other person posts immediately after with something of about the same callibur and the monotnous process continues.

At a rate like that, the two could earn upwards of 800 or so silver each in an hour.

Then, look at RPers like me. I could make a post totalling about 20-30 silver in quantity in the same time with extreme ease. Therefore, I could earn upwards of 1600-2400 silver in an hour.

That's a lot.

So, you take that number and divide it by 5, since 5 copper exchanges into 1 silver, and you get 480 silver at the maximum rate in 1 hour.

Which is more reasonable: About 2k in silver in an hour, or 400 silver?

Having it grant silver in that forum just encourages bad RPing, which we don't want.

I'm sure that's what Scribbz (ariKana) was thinking when she changed the functions of that forum to grant copper instead of silver. :3

It is to prevent users from using the forum to earn extra silver. Cause honestly, I just see 1x1 roleplays as a way for users to possibly post redundant and/or repetitive lines. ^_^;
