Giving a home

((Yazoo- Oh sorry. When I saw the post of you leading adnalus into the bedroom I thought it was night time in the thread.))

(We've already got this established, so all we can do is remember to read things thoroughly and be more mindful. And bigger please, and not green.)

[Chere and Rose]

((Right. Sorry. Guess I'm a bit mussed up this week.))

Roy looked at the silent girl. She seemed to be trying to say something but he couldn't tell.
"I'm home now."
He whispered to his wife faintly.

[Yazoo]

[It was night time, but not morning. That, and seeing as Adnalus is... well... in a different house a good night at least should be given, right?
Anyway, mistakes happen.]

Delilah has a blink a few times to register the person in front of her, barely noticing Adnalus and absentmindly patting the childs head lightly.
"... Roy?" she cocks her head to the side slightly. Really, she didn't expect him to... well... come back without even telling her anything so this is a pretty big surprise.

[Yare]

Adnalus looked up. Delilah seemed to know the man. She tugged on the woman's night shirt and glanced at the man called "Roy", silently asking who he was.

[Yazoo]

Delilah blinks again, suddenly reminded of the added weight attached to her, she looks down before smiling at Adnalus. "This is my husband, Roy. He was away for work for some time but now he's come back." she explains to him before looking at her husband.
"This is Adnalus, I found her in the rain yesterday. I'm taking her home tomo-ah... today."

[Yare]

Adnalus looked at Roy, still hugging Delilah. Husband? She remembered that...they became daddies. She wondered if Delilah and Roy had a child.

[Chere and Rose]

((Okay.))

"Yeah, I'm back" Roy chuckled. He was so glad to be back.
"I was going to call you but I got held up and the phones were dead."
Roy looked back down at Adnalus.
So peculiar that she was so silent.
"Now why would anyone, want to leave a nice looking child like you on the street? When it's raining too?" Roy stated this in voice slightly louder than neccesary.
He and smiled. Then, turned towards Adnalus
"Good morning."

[Yare]

Adnalus gave a shy little wave, but stayed close to Delilah. There was something about him that made her scared.

[Yazoo]

Delilah runs her fingers through Adnalus' hair before holding out her arms to Roy. "How about, instead of giving excuses you give me a hug." she chuckles, a small smile on her lips.
She had been pretty lonely when her husband left, after all. Of course the people on work made her forget about the lonelyness but they didn't do much about the quiet house.

[Chere and Rose]

Roy accepted the open arms wawrmly.
It had been awhile since he'd been embraced.
"So how have you been?"

[Yare]

Adnalus looked at the pair, feeling slightly left out. She was also feeling hungry. She looked between Delilah and Roy, and waited to be noticed.

[Yazoo]

"I've been good," Delilah smiles "how about you? How did the trip go?"

[Chere and Rose]

"The weather is...different there. The meetings went smoothly and the company seems okay."

Roy gazed into Delilah's eyes for another moment before changing the subject.

"Erm, so you have any idea where little Adnalus lives?"

[Yazoo]

"Hmhm~ I'm taking her there tomo-eh... today. I talked to the neighbour and we agreed to meet up at 11." shrug~ <3 "Aren't you tired after all the travelling? You should be going to bed now."
