OKAY! So.. i heard of this site from a yahoo answer since i was absolutely sick of the other avatar sites i've been on.. and i wanted to give THIS site a try!

But.. i'm brand new.. and have just been exploring with everything.. and i think i'm gonna need to explore some more..

Hello~! Welcome to the site. I hope you don't get sick of Mido like the other avatar sites. After all, the weather here is lovely and anyone who quits is just missing out.

What've you found so far?

Well i found out how to actually decorate the avatar for one thing.. that was actually hard to find.. but that's only because i'm blind..

I also found some of the shops, and learned that in order to get lots of silver.. you need to post. But that's normal since i tend to talk a lot.

Also, i was just confused on how there are like.. different currencies. Copper, for one, is something i didn't even understand how i got it. Silver.. i guess, it the typical currency, and i don't know if there are any others..

But i need to like.. learn how to equip weapons... i'm gonna go try another battle.

And, yes, i will not get sick of this site. i like it.. i like being able to catch sites when they're fairly new, since then i get more attached to them.. unlike Gaia... man, i just hate it there. everyone's so startlingly rich, and they're allowed to buy stuff (I can't) and ect... so yeah.

I've got a lot to learn.

You earn copper by posting in the fun and games section. I only recently noticed that games sections on a lot of sites earn you less than the others.

There is one other currency, gold, which you get by donating money to the site. Gold is used to buy the monthly ancient relics.

You don't equip the weapons. When you buy them they are automatically on the drop down list for attack when you battle.

You can also get silver from battling.

Don't worry, you're learning faster than I did. It took me a day to figure out how to decorate my avi, even if it was the old and more confusing avatar page.

I spent all my money on gambling when I was on Gaia, and even then it wasn't very much...

I had a buy error glitch.. and i couldn't buy the weapon.. but now i got it. the direct buy button didn't work.. had to do the long way. but i'm fine now.

lol... i guess that's a small thing that happens with brand new sites.. but yeah.. i know how you feel.. happens a lot on like.. other sites.

When I first joined, it was at like 2 in the morning. So I spent HOURS exploring and figuring things out [I never made a Welcome Mat thread for some reason]. I was on here tinkering around until at least 8am.

I hope you like it here! I think you'll find that it's better than Gaia

@Ace I totally agree. It would be even worse if you didn't want to actually TALK to any of those thousands of people. x) Whenever I log on here and someone else is on, it's usually someone I like talking to

exactly. i'd rather be alone surfing the site and have NO lag, and maybe a conversation with a person or 2, and all that other jazz, than have who KNOWS how many people online, who KNOWS how much lag, who knows how insane the marketplace is, and all of that other stuff..

Even in the games.. there's a zillion different little rooms you can go into to play a GAME... *a little weird as it is* and there's tons of people chatting, and doing other games, and it's just chaos. here it's kind of nice.. there's.. a good kind of quiet..

but not too quiet.

Yeah, when I come on I always know at least one or two people, and if I don't I at least know of them.

Yeah... well i'm gonna go explore in the battles.. and see if i can actually earn some silver.. not just waste it..
