| I just wondered since in the general rules thread it says they're not allowed, and then there's a separate thread dealing specifically with it too, yet going through the threads I see tons of people making "spiffy" posts.
Aren't they breaking the rules, or are certain people allowed?

| According to what I know, they're not really allowed here.
So I'd give whoever had a noticeably awesome and colorful post a warning. x)

| I think actually it's mostly because people get used to posting with certain stuff like colours, bold and whatever and then they're so much in the habit they forget which forum they're posting in.

But I just saw this little checkbox where we 'post a reply' that says "disable HTML". That'd be so useful in this forum. It's just that, well, it IS hard to notice at first. I've never paid much thought to it, and I've already posted a thousand messages

| I moved this to the help me forum(and added on to the topic to avoid confusion) since this isn't really a forum to ask questions in, even if the question is about the fun n' games forum.
Also you are correct spiffy posts are not allowed. If you see somebody doing it please PM a mod so we can give them a warning and edit all of their posts. ._.

I do forget that even though there are many avatar forums, the rules might still differ a bit

| They only arn't allowed in the fun and games forum.
In the rest of midorea you can use up to two seperate instances of code. So like colour and bold, or bold and italic, list and colour or whatever.

Hm. I agree with the habit on spiffy posts.
Sometimes I may do that and have to edit the posts to make sure it follows the rules.
