Would it be a good idea?

Greetings dear roleplayers of Midorea, I come to you with a question.
First some explenation is in order;
I am a yaoi lover. I roleplay yaoi ONLY (on sites, however, I'm forced to go no further than shounen ai xD)
So, I thought about creating a shounen/shoujo ai roleplay (I haven't seen one around here) No straight couples though. Boys could play as girls and girls as boys though, if it is what they wish.

So this is the question: Would it be a good idea to start such a roleplay?
How many people would join?
Should I come up with an unique plot or any common plot (battle between races, cafe, school rp) would do?
I'm personally a fan of fables, so fantasy roleplays are my favourite.
What do you think?

Ehh... I'm not a fan of Yaoi/Yuri roleplays. However, I still voted that it'd be a good idea simply because I don't really see why you shouldn't. Just because someone doesn't like it doesn't mean you have to not post it.

And if you want to, why shouldn't you?

though when you get bored with hetero roleplays you know where to find me~ ^.^ *cackles and runs off to reply to glimpse*

@glimpse: Ah, it's not like I hate heteros or something xD *is one* just that I want it to be a roleplay for minorities and if I let heteros join it will most likely end up heteros being the majority of roleplayers and then my plan would go down the drain (I tried once in one site but I got overrun with noob hetero roleplayer that had barely any common sence, illiterate and didn't manage to read the rules... was it so hard to read 7 rules and 4 lines about the rp? *gets angry just remembering the annoying times*... strange enough but people who rp yaoi rps tend to be very literate and descriptive.... now I wonder why >3... )

I'm game, but I warn you, I rarely write short posts (Which I'm sure you've noticed seeing as you were in the Festival rp).

Yaoi was basically one of my first real open doors into the Advanced Lit category of roleplay. I think it'd be pretty cool, there's none that I can see on here, on the boards.

I think the reason folks are more literate with the same sex roleplays is because most of the time, only writers are into it. A lot of times, heterosexual roleplay is associated with just cybering, and most of the time the folks that do that strictly (Not all mind you), don't see reason to put a whole lot of effort into it because it's always roleplayed over pm's or im's.

And a lot of times, people have to up the bar. <3 So, if you're still around or up for it, I don't mind playing, so long as the plot's not centered around the romance and more around an actual story line. I love story lines. Omnomnom. <3
