| No! XD It's Japanese. Koneko is kitten.
Unless she got the name from Sailor Moon (her boyfriend calls her Usako) in which the name would basically mean Bunny Cat, since usagi is rabbit and that's her name, so Usako is simply a pet name. Neko is cat.
o-0 Did you get Usako from Sailor Moon?

| Pretty much. When I took Japanese, my classmates gave me the name 'Usagi.' Since I'm a Sailor Moon fan, I took it and ran with it. lol. Unfortunately, the name 'Usagi' and 'Usako' are usually taken on most siteds, so I added neko. *it works, since HAruka also calls her Koneko. >.> ish a dork*

| Alright, I understand. Radical Ko means small, so I suppose Usako could mean bunny or small rabbit, considering koneko is kitten, or small cat, and koinu is puppy, or small dog.
8D I love Sailor Moon.
Yeah, I'll be starting my third year of Japanese next year, so I'm still not making the connections between radicals and such. Sorry.

| Sorry Maverick, don't mean to confuse!
@Chu- It's great that you've completed two years though! Whenever I go back to school, I'd be starting my third year as well. *ish on a break from classes* It's a great language to learn, and a great culture behind it.

| It's a really fun language. :] Much better than Spanish, if you ask me.
I can't wait for my third year though. Hopefully I can add some more kanji to the (small) list that I know.
By the way, I warmed your eggies. ^_^

| @Chu- Aww, thankees! I'll be sure to click back, iffins you have any critters at GPX! And good luck on learning kanji. >.< I'm absolutely horrible at kanji!
@Weaseldale- If it helps, I didn't get to start taking it until my fourth year in college! Every single semester of my first three years I tried to get into the Japanese I class, and never could. It's that popular, even at a college that didn't offer a Japanese major or minor, but just a certificate. XD;

| Oh, then I guess I'll take it in college. My dad would rather I learn Manderin Chinese, but he'll have to live with Japanese when I take it.

| Chineses is easier to learn if English is your native tongue though; the sentence structure and such is the same, I hear.
