It saddens me so that I can't have the back layer of the Elemental Capes used behind the True Form of the Deities. I believe that the back layers of any items shouldn't be cut out, for this reason. The back layers of anything don't really have much that it'll block right? I mean, they're meant to be behind an avatar. Especially with something like a cape. And plus, from what I can see, if you don't cut out the legs in the elemental capes all you need is one behind layer for both male and female.
I hope I explained this properly, I have a headache. -_-;

| Yeah, but even so.. it'll look like the cape is going right through the body rather than behind it.. D:

o-o If you create a layer BEHIND the avatar, it shouldn't..? And if it's layering under other items then just create a layer between the two problem layers?
It's.. not hard to do, if I remember correctly.

| Um, the reason they're cut out is because I pixeled them that way. So if I just wanted the behind capes without cutouts I'd have to go back and fill in the spaces were the legs go(and then do the recolors, save them and upload them etc. etc.).

| Scribbz is correct.
The behind part of the capes ARE layered behind the base. However, since the True Form base is much longer than the capes, there's not enough cape to cover the horse's body.
So that's why you get that awkward "horse phasing through the cape" effect.

| Could he have like a little pool of cape fabric hanging off our pony butts?

But then you'd have regular avatars running around with random floating capes in the shape of a horse's ass. XD
Plus, Cat would have to pixel all the capes new poses.

or could be created as a separate pose or something.
that way there isnt a floating cape behind the avatars.
but that in the end will still make more work for Cat.

... Do any of you own horses? Or have the least bit of passionate interest in them? If you put a blanket over a horses neck, it won't automatically cover the horses rump. It would go back slightly and hang over the sides, which wouldn't no noticeable cause the right side (looking at the image, technical left) goes out far enough that it's not noticeable. So all that's needed to be done is fixed the cut out of the legs. >>; Centaurs are half human. As half human, they would wear it as it is. The small edit that's needed to be done is fixing the back layer.
There isn't any special or technical edits truly needed to do this.
