1x1 Koko-kun and Nikki

[Koko-kun]

This is continued from another forum we were at that got shut up and takes place in the Bleach universe.

Noza took another swing at Kuroi, determined to finish his training. She blocked though and snapped the sword with her claws. She swung her sword and knocked Noza back into a cliffside.

Climbing from the rubble and looking worse for wear, Noza staggered to another sword and picked it up. As he began to charge Kuroi held up her hand and said, "Noza stop, you need to rest before you kill yourself. You are working hard but you should not push yourself too much, you still have two days to finish the training."

Noza nodded and collapsed on the ground. She picked him up and called for Ururu to come over. Ururu jumped to her feet and brought over a mat, pillow and blanket. She treated his wounds, stopping the bleeding and bandaging them up. She lay him down on the mat and pulled the blanket over him. He drifted off to sleep, thinking about how he was going to finish training.

Kuroi smiled down at him and though Noza I know you can finish this training. You are a smart guy and you will come through on this

[Nikki]

{Lalala don't remember where I left off so I'ma BS it. Plus you're not responding to me on AIM xD}

Nikki ran out of the changing room dressed and refreshed. She wanted to make Noza proud of her, so she wanted to do her best. As she looked for Noza's copy, her search came up empty, instead of finding his copy she found Noza on the floor being tended by Ururu. "Noza-kun..!" She whispered under her breath as she ran over.

Nikki kneeled down next to Noza. "Ururu-chan is he okay?" She asked with a worried look on her face, her voice barely going above a whisper.

[Koko-kun]

Ururu looked up and said, "He'll be fine, he just pushed himself a little too hard during training. Bankai training is pretty vigorous. Even if he succeeds he will probably be bedridden for several days. He is actually the first person to try this training."

Noza started to shift in his sleep, having a nightmare.

He opened his eyes and saw blood everywhere. The aftermath of violence could be seen for miles. He walked along the streets taking in the horrible scenes before him. His eyes opened widely as he saw the injured bodies of Ururu, Yoruichi, Nikki and another girl. "OH MY GOD!" he screamed as he dropped to his knees. A shadow came over him and the world faded to darkness as he whispered, "...I failed."

Noza's eyes shot open and he sat up covered in a cold sweat. He looked around and saw Ururu and Nikki sitting there watching him. He looked over to see Kuroi smiling at him and he could even see Yoruichi peaking from behind the rocks. "Thank god," he whispered before he smiled and collapsed again.

[Nikki]

With a small cringe Nikki nodded at Ururu. Bedridden for several days..? I hops this training is worth it.. she said to herself. Looking down at Noza she let out a small sigh. I'll take care of you. I promise.

"Noza-kun..?" Nikki said as he suddenly woke up and looked around with a glazed look. As quickly as he woke up, he fell back asleep. Worried she continued to sit there. Not knowing what to do for her own training, and frankly not caring. She wanted Noza to be okay before she went on with what she needed to get done.

[Koko-kun]

A few hours later, Noza slowly opened his eyes. His vision coming into focus, he noticed Nikki lying with her head on his chest, sleeping soundly. He smiled and shook her a bit, saying, "Nikki-chan I do love our close contact but I'm afraid I have to continue my training."

Getting up he stretched out his limbs, trying to rid himself of cramps and tight muscles. He looked back over to his battlefiend where Kuroi was happily sitting and drinking tea. He thought to himself, Which one could possibly be my bankai? It seems like a waste to blindly grab swords and charge. All that does is waste my energy. Wait! When I got my zanpaktou I had to follow my reiatsu string to it. Maybe that will work here.

He closed his eyes and focused, trying to find which string led him to his bankai. He searched around and found the red one and pulled on it. Opening his eyes he followed it to Kuroi.

He thought Well that was useless, it just led me to my shikai. There must be something I don't understand about bankais

Then it hit Noza like a ton of bricks. He grew a devilish smile and yelled to Kuroi, "Hey Kuroi-chan, let's get back on track. Also, come out Yoruichi, I know you are there and I have something to say to you."

Yoruichi slowly came out from behind the rock and Noza grew quiet beforing shunpoing to her and wrapping his arms around her. "Yoru-chan," he said, "I am going against my better judgement and I have decided to forgive you for hurting me. However, Nikki-chan has a special place in my heart, so I'm afraid I cannot love you like I once did."

Tears grew in Yoruichi's eyes as she nodded and hugged him fiercely. He whispered, "I'm going to continue training, why don't you go talk to Nikki-chan and learn more about her. I have a feeling you two will be seeing a lot of each other."

He released the hug and walked to a blade. Picking it up he shouted, "OK Kuroi-chan, here I come again!" Noza charged it while Yoruichi walked over to Nikki-chan. Kneeling down beside her she said to her, "I know this is going to sound awkward because you probably hate me, but you wouldn't mind sharing him would you?"

[Nikki]

Reluctantly Nikki woke up from her nap with Noza as he woke up and said.. something. She was in too much of a daze to comprehend words. "Nnn..." She groaned as she sat up and rubbed her eyes in a very sleepy manner. She sat there, unknowing of what to do. Keeping her partly glazed look fixated no Noza and what he was doing.

Noza walked over to Kuroi then randomly called out Yoruchi. Nikki cocked her head to the side and suddenly he disappeared. ".. Ehhh?" Nikki looked around for Noza, feeling as if she was still too tired to really keep up with anything.

In the distance, she found him embracing Yoruchi. Her heart sank and she immediately looked down at the floor. She stayed sitting in quietly not moving an inch.

"...you wouldn't mind sharing him would you?" Nikki looked up with a puzzled look, only to look up at Yoruchi's face. Nikki quickly looked away and didn't answer. Of course I wouldn't share... She growled to herself. Not with you. Not with anyone. Subconsciously her cheeks puffed up with air and she fixated her eyes on some random rock in the distance.

Nikki wanted to be strong and say those words out loud, but she sadly knew her place when it came to power. Yoruchi would have no problem ripping her limb to limb. Even if Noza would come to save the day - she's not even sure if she would even last that long.

[Koko-kun]

Yoruichi sighed and said to Nikki, "Look, I know you hate me, you obviously want to be with Noza and I have hurt him in the past. He is a good guy and I should have never hurt him like I did and over there was actually him forgiving me. It wasn't him professing his love for me. He actually said he couldn't because he cared too much for you. I was simple wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing him. It's okay if you don't I would understand why."

Meanwhile Noza was fighting Kuroi with everything he had. However, each sword he picked up was easily destroyed by her and he was subsequently hurt because of it. After picking himself up off the ground for the tenth time he stood still and thought for a moment. Think Noza think! What is the meaning behind my energy still leading to Kuroi even in bankai training. Wait, just maybe, it's worth a shot.

Noza opened his eyes and grabbed the closest sword to him. He yelled out, "Nikki-chan, please do not be angry for what I'm about to do. You too Yoruichi, last thing I need is a couple of pissed off females in about 2 minutes."

He charged at Kuroi with a sly smirk on his face. It threw her off a bit but she was still able to attack when he got close, only for him to dodge. She looked surprised as he brought his sword down to attack only for her to block it and break it again. However, as she came for an attack with her claws, he grabbed her arm and held it behind her back. When she tried to attack with the other sword, he grabbed that arm and bent it back over her shoulder. What is he doing? she thought.

Noza suddenly closed the gap between them and kissed her right on the lips before breaking and saying, "I win Kuroi-chan."

[Nikki]

With an annoyed grunt, Nikki asked "What do you mean by share?" Nikki seemed to be acting like a spoiled brat who didn't want to play nice with the other kids, but she didn't care. She wanted a straight forward answer, else it would indefinitely be a no.

Nikki looked over at Noza when she heard his voice. "Huh?" she questioned, but soon she found out what he meant. Nikki's face turned red and she quickly snapped her head to the side and fixated a sad glare at another random rock in the distance.

[Koko-kun]

Noza said, "I figured out the meaning of the training Kuroi-chan. You are my shikai, and a bankai is still the shikai just a different form. The entire time, my bankai was right in front of me, because you are wielding it."

Kuroi smiled and said, "Wow I did not expect you to figure that out so fast Noza-kun. However know that when I return to your body you will probably be unconscious two to three days while you body and mind adjust to this new power."

He nodded and released her shunpoing over to Nikki. He noticed her saddened look and grabbed her chin. Turning her head to face him, he smiled slyly, the same look he gave Kuroi. He leaned down and kissed Nikki on the lips before pulling back and promptly collapsing.

[Nikki]

Nikki's annoyance quickly blew away as Noza grabbed her chin lightly. Her cheeks flushed slightly as she held her breath. Her heart began to race as her head was turned towards Noza and she saw his sly smile. A small kiss happened and tho it ended fast, Nikki wished that small moment would last a lifetime.

Snapping back to reality, Nikki spazzed slightly and hovered over Noza's unconscious body. "Noza-kun! Are you okay?"

[Koko-kun]

Kuroi said to Nikki, "He's going to be fine, I told him he would be unconscious while his body adapts to his new information. Now I must be going." She slowly faded away into nothing and formed back into Noza's zanpaktou.

Ururu rushed out to help him and said, "Let's take him to a room upstairs so he can rest." Yoruichi nodded and lifted him up, saying, "Nikki, you are a lucky girl to have his heart, but if you break it I will claw your face off." With that she slowly walked up the stairs to a room.

Once they got upstairs they were met by Kisuke, who had a surprised look on his face. "He finished already?" he questions. Yoruichi smiled and said, "You missed a lot Kisuke but yeah he did it. Not surprising from him, he was always captain material, but I was too late to realize it." Her face saddened a bit as she took him to an empty room and laid him on the mat. Pulling the blanket over him, she whispered, "Even if you didn't pick me, I will never love another Noza-kun, I'm always going to be here if and when you need me." She secretly kissed him on the lips slightly before Nikki could see and walked out of the room.

[Nikki]

Nikki nodded at Kuroi and looked down at Noza with a soft smile. Nikki wanted to say something to Noza, but she didn't know what she wanted to say. All she knew is that she never wants to leave Noza's side and she wanted to work harder then ever, to try to make him proud of her.

Nikki picked up Noza's zanpaktou and walked alongside Ururu. Nikki ignored Yoruichi's threat and continued up the stairs. "I'm not you..." Nikki muttered softly under her breath. A deep passion of hatred flared in Nikki's heart, she didn't even enjoy hearing Yoruichi's voice let alone seeing her.

Zanpaktou in hand, Nikki walked over to Kisuke. She looked up at the tall and scrawny looking man with the weird hat. "Kisuke-sama? I.. I want to make Noza proud of me. I don't understand what I'm supposed to do, though..." Nikki looked down at her feet. Shutting her eyes tight she bowed down as low as her spine would allow. "Please help me, Kisuke-sama!"

I want Noza to be proud of me...

[Koko-kun]

Kisuke smiled at the girl's new found resolve. He nodded and said, "Well I guess we have to start with the basics. You don't have a zanpaktou do you?" She shook her head and said, "My zanpaktou thinks I'm weak, that's why I need to prove to her that I am strong."

Kisuke was surprised to hear that but continued, "Well Nikki-chan, we have a whole day to crack down if you are up to the challenge. However, I am not best suited to teach you. Yoruichi would be better than I am, however I know you hate her. I wish you would tell me exactly why though when Noza has already forgiven her."

Yoruichi was hiding behind the wall listening and thinking, "Dammit Kisuke what are you planning?"

[Nikki]

Nikki's face flushed with annoyance. "Why her.." She whispered. Nikki didn't like that idea at all, in fact it made her stomach knot. "Couldn't it be anyone else?!" Nikki nearly yelled at Kisuke, and she realized this. She hung her head and whispered an apology.

[Koko-kun]

Kisuke sighed and said, "She would be a better teacher than I would, I can do many things but Yoruichi is more suited to teach people than I am. Noza forgave her, which means she is pretty much under his command. She will never stop loving him, but you beat her Nikki."

Kisuke said, "The wealth of my knowledge in is zanjutsu, or the art of wielding a zanpaktou. Yoruichi specialized in hand-to-hand combat and Noza specializes in Kidou. Together the three of us are the greatest teachers ever, but starting out Yoruichi is the best to teach you, so please do this for Noza."
