| Oooh, that sounds like a good idea.
That's part of why I don't want to get a new one...it's either get a compy with vista or switch to a Mac...not sure which is less appealing right now...

| my vista works fine its mostly me figuring out where everything is, if you get vista make sure to get the highest amount of ram possible. Makes it run better.
I don't care for macs, much they cost twice as much even 3X oh they are good for art but if you aren't professional it isn't really worth it. <.<;;
I sit next to these girls at school and they both have macs and they say macs are better then all the other brands. when i ask who bought the lappy...it was their dad.

| Heh...the friends of mine that have them bought them without parental help.
Mmm...RAM is always a good thing....Wish there was some way I could just get XP instead of Vista, and still get all teh new Office things...
I really don't want to have to take the time to find where everything in windows is again...

| herm well I do think its a waste to pay twice as much for a lappy with the same whistles and bells <.<;;
I think some stores give you a choice for the operating system but i think they charge extra or something.

| No I think XP is a customization now since everything is pretty much vista... That what happened when I ordered mine, extra money for XP so i said "nevermind" and got vista, with a nicer graphics card so I could finally play spore.
shocking isn't it?

| Eh...kind of.
I can play Spore on my XP laptop with no problem...^^;;
Just can't connect to the online server for some reason.
Meh, if I get a new compy I'll just reinstall the game.

| being connected might not be as good everytime I log in there is a new patch, and the patches take forever to down load too.
On though other side its nice to run into someone else's creation and then eat it. ^^
