What kind of pie (or cake) do you like

just thought id ask everyone out there what kind of pie they liked


disscuss making of the pies

hang out and talk about pies

do whatever as long as its about pies or cakes

after all pie is an essential food group

lol yes... pie. I love pie. Cherry pie. Apple pie. Coconut pie. Pumpkin pie. Pecan pie. Banana creme pie. Lemon or Lime meringue pie. Any kind of pie is fine.
I'm not fond of cake... I don't like icing and in general cakes are just too dry.

But I do, without a doubt, love tiramisu. It's sort of like the in-between cake and pie. Mmm, delicious.

I'm not really a pie person, but if I am eating pie its either pumpkin or banana cream pie.

Cake however... it doesn't really matter but I have a homey association with angel food and cheese cake (my mom makes amazing new york cheesecake)

I love apple pies, cherry pies lemon meringue pies, pecan pies, if it's in a pie crust and has filling, I'll eat it. XD Wel..except for meat pies..not too fond of those..okay..it has to be fruit filling. XD

Cake wise..I'm not too fond of icing or frosting but if it's in moderation, i'll eat it. I love cheesecake though. Angel food cake is heavenly too. I love the little cakes you buy at the asian bakeries. They look great and tastes great!

I'm with Chu on this one. I don't really care for pie.

I like me some Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese icing and dusts of cinnamon and chocolate shavings mmmmn.

Whenever I eat pie it just seems HEALTHIER than cake. I don't know why.
But I LOVEEE CUPCAKES, not so much the huge cakes.
Unless it's someones birthday or something. [or my birthday (:]

But pie is good anytime, anywhere.

All pie. Any pie. Except sweet potato pie.

I never got the general understanding of the purpose of sweat potato pie.

I like Jespie, though. Shephard's pie is what it's called.

It's egg, flower, sugar, that's about it. Oh, and I think a little milk? I don't know, I've never made it, but whenever someone makes it, I just scarf it down.

Especially if it's made to be like brownies omgggg.

I feel like I gained weight just talking in this thread.

As far as pie goes I'm fond of extremely fond of apple. >w< And homemade strawberry rhubarb is pretty wonderful.

However my all-time favorite dessert is cheesecake, without a doubt. The words to express my supreme love have not yet been invented.

Marbleized strawberry cheesecake is my ultimate favorite cake of all time.

Period.

There is no cake better ever.

Because it has the creamy creamy cheesey cheessey.

And strawberry.
