| Amaya finished eating and went out into the sunny day again. Now she was super thirsty! The salty beef broth had dried her mouth even though it sloshed in her stomach. Was it strange to enjoy that wobbly sound? If so she'd be strange, because she'd gone hungry more then twice in the past few months as she traveled. Being allergic to many different foods made it hard for her to eat much of anything. It was as if she had been starving in plenty.
But Elen had trials for everyone, and there was always fruit ice somewhere. The delicious treat had spread from her homeland (where most people didn't ever drink milk (was that why she was short?)), so long ago that most everybody had a version of it. And there was this town's. 'Sorbet' read the sign. Sorbet was softer then fruit ice, and this stand had many flavors.
Amaya begged with the stand owner to open a little bit early and sell her one, but it was the promise of a new sign at a cheap price that finally coaxed him into selling her both strawberry and peach sorbets. With a meeting time at the eve of the day and so much she couldn't eat it on her own, the satisfied woman took her sorbets down to the lotus trees to find her spot again.
The trees were worse than when she had left the night before! How could this have happened? She wasn't even certain she could find the spot again.

| Squid moved to the food booths, tummy rumbling slightly. Yesterday had been a busybusy day for Squid's puppetmaster and poor Squid hadn't gotten to eat at all. Squid sniffed appreciatively at Maeve's food, ordering the same thing, sitting a little ways away from her to eat.

| Squid smiled, waving one tentacle at Maeve while another was wrapped around a pair of chopsticks feeding the food in to Squid's beak. After swallowing a bite, Squid said ''Hello. How are you?'' Pause ''I hope you don't think I'm a creeper, but your food just smelled so good. It... inspired me to get a bowl of my own!'' Squid laughed

| ((Starting from where I left, my character went to bed. XD))
Ella woke up, stretched and yawned.
She says silently: "What a beautiful day, and another perfect day to check out the festival". So she went to the festival, and placed herself at the grand fountain, playing with twigs and lotus petals lying around.

| (*Picking up from wherever*)
Garu didn't sleep well, and she looked more disheveled than normal. The room at the inn she'd gotten had a great view of the festival, but let in a lot of noise from it, too.
She went to the festival grounds to find a good meal. Kind of nice to have all this sweet and fatty food to eat, for once. She went to a stall and got a hearty bowl of marinated beef and rice and sat herself at an empty table.
As she was looking around and slurping up the tender strips of beef, she nearly choked when she saw the strange squid-like.... woman? talking to someone.
Most people would turn away, but not Garu. She stared at the pair while deftly stuffing food into her mouth with the chopsticks.

| Rhee cracked an eye open she had fallen asleep standing up under a few of the trees. She still hadn't seen any fireworks yet and was eager to make that her goal today. yawning Rhee started for the games area.

| Ella went to see some booths, and was delighted to actually see a booth selling pasta. Ella was unbelievably hungry and went to buy her a bowl of spaghetti. "Yummy, this is amazing!", she said, smiling.

Realising she was running late for the festival, Lunar stepped out of her carriage and thanked her driver profusely.
"I'm so sorry for the rush.. I wanted to get her before dark falls though." She smiled.
He nodded and uncurled his hand to her.
"Oh! Of course, I must apologise." She coo'ed and opened her clasp purse to hand him a few Silver.
He smiled at her and she wished him well on his way and began to step forward to the festival.
Upon entering onto the hill she was already smiling, the sight was just beautiful and the people so happy. The stands bright colours and intense scents pleased her senses. Upon the greeting from fellow friend Chu, she bowed gratefully.
"This is a wonderful festival, Chu. Absolutely delightful. If you dont mind me, I shall be off to sample some of its delights" She grinned happily, bowed again with grace and made her way over to the stalls.

| Username: Aaya-Tan
Character Name: Aayanoru (Aay)
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Clan: Fuu
Bio: A woman of many ambitions, there's little she hasn't or won't try. Born in an only child/single parent household, she's learned that she needs to be independant, and wanted desperately to at least try to become someone who's worth something. She started studying science and alchemy when she was just 12, and since then has become a fantastic alchemist. Even to the point she has her own little Odds and Ends shop in town. She lost contact long ago with her mother, and most of her family lives on the other side of the planet. She moved back and forth between the states and Japan to see her grandparents and her mother, but eventually settled for her own small place off in the country side. She always enjoyed watching the Sakura fall, and has attended the festivals each year.
Image/Description: Aay (Note, all artwork shown is made by HAND, MY OWN ARTWORK. Do not steal/reuse/recolor/trace. Thank you.)
[ Description ] (It's long, I warn you.)White hair with red tips due to an accident in the workshop. Apparently powdered mercurial scales, even if condensed into a powdered form, still has effects. Also, leaving a window open on a windy day doesn't make the powder any less easy to work with. It created a pretty potent bleaching agent. Her hair was originally completely red, but thanks to the dusting, only the front bangs are red still. Two colored eyes, one red and one blue, no, there was no scientific accident there, just a genetic trait in her family. It skipped her two sisters, but her youngest brother also shares this similarity. She usually wears a dark makeup around them to accentuate the color and her lashes, also a dark red almost black. Her skin-tone is the average bookworm's pale, with three clawmark scars on her face from an incident that will be rehashed in history. She's fairly top heavy, and has curves, though she generally's self concious about it and won't respond if you call her out on it. She's got a little baby fat around her face, though you can still see her cheekbones just a smidgeon.
[ Attire ] She usually wears dark attire, such as blacks, browns, or dark green robes. Mainly a vest-type top with the robe tucked in underneath, a corset of some sort, usually with black lace, and leup handling gloves as she has to deal with her alchemy. The sleeves are slender, they only reach about an inch and a half below the wrist, and the robes material is made out of a thick cotton-like substance that she fiddled with herself. The inside of the robe is lined with a sweat retardant material so she doesn't end up stinking like a dead leupak. Usually while working at the shop, she'll have on a small choker around her neck, hiding a single scar across her throat, it's black with white lace and a single silver pendant hangs down from it with her name engraved in calligraphy. She doesn't like wearing skirts save for work, but generally has on a pair of black slacks with large pouched belts on her hips (Much like a handy-man's belt, she uses the pouches to store tools, powder satchels, vials, things that she generally uses for her alchemy, also a small vial of ink and some quills for those random burst of inspiration). She wears a pair of small specks, on the end of her nose. They're mostly for show and reading very very very fine print, otherwise, they just look good. She has no earrings or other bangles, though she has a tendency to wear a ring once in a while, carved out of onyx that was a gift of a friend. Around her neck she always wears a single locket, a golden moon that opens up into three separate parts. In it are separate pictures, one of her parents, one of her brother and sisters, and one of her best friend Dominique. The pictures are sepia toned, and very awkwardly cut, so it's not easy to see just who they are unless you were there or she told you.
Other: She owns a cat and a tarantula (Small world considering she also has a spider phobia), the cat (Muse) stays with her at all times, and can generally be found hiding out around her or some such.
Post Count: FOR CHU’S USE ONLY.
(Because I'm so awesome I start LATE.)
The Lotus Viewing Festival. She couldn't believe her luck. This was the most beautiful time of the year, in her own opinion, and she was here, once again, to view nature and all of it's splendor. Aay stretched her arms high above her head, popping her spine and cracking her neck slightly. That evening she wore a dark black kimono with golden trim along the bell sleeves, obi, and bottom of the skirt. Her neck, shoulders, and collarbone were laid bare to the world, porceline white skin glowing almost against the dark material.
Her hair was tied up for once instead of around her neck, forming a braid and then pinned into a bun at the top of her head, allowing the white locks to blend somewhat with the red bangs. She had pinned all of her hair back to let her face be visable. It was less shady to deal with someone whom you could see entirely as opposed to someone always hidden under a mass of hair. She chuckled to herself as she righted her specks on her nose, pushing them up and turning to face the small pathway. It seemed a lot of folks where there this year, and she was actually somewhat happy for it.
It wasn't any fun watching such a beautiful sight on your own, of course, but, she always had Muse. The sandy colored cat let out a gentle purr, bright blue eyes literally glimmering in the passing lamp light. He reached out, swatting at a firefly as she walked, geta barely making a sound as she passed along the slightly crowded pathway.
Maybe she should start a conversation with someone. Or perhaps she should wait. She prefered to wait, in all honesty. People were strange and odd, and even though she, herself, was both of those things, she didn't feel like pushing that onto others. If they wanted to speak with her, they could. She found a spot next to a tree and sat down quietly. She had a small sack beside her that she set down. She had purchased small bits of food and sparklers along the way, and she chuckled as Muse instantly slid down from her shoulder to curl up in her lap. She stroked her fingers down his striped back, playing with his large ears and giggling as a rumored prehensile tail wrapped around her arm. There were times she wanted to test it, but, Muse didn't seem to care for being treated like a Monkat.
She brushed her fingers again through his fur, and lifted his eyes to quietly watch the sky above her. It was a little chilly this time, but, she just righted the sleeves of her kimono and let her head rest against the bark of the tree she leaned against. She was such a vivid contrast against the earth, it wouldn't be long until someone possibly noticed her, be it negative or wanted attention. Though Aay didn't necessarily want attention so much as company.
