| ooc: That's perfectly fine. ^^
bic: Demetria sighed, turning around all the way and sitting on the ground with her arms wrapped around her knees. "Well that's quite the reassuring statement," she murmured softly to herself, still observing the clearing and thinking silently. At the sight of the baby, her eyes widened significantly and she jumped back to her feet. Unsure of what to say, she just stood there with a somewhat lost look on her face, her mouth halfway open in shock.

| The girl smiled and giggled, reaching towards Loner as he held her. 'Danielle,' he said, 'how did you get here?' The baby giggled. 'Badda,' she said.
Loner sighed, and stood up. He looked around at Demetria, realising she needed an explanation and wondering whether or not it would sound too suspicious to start with "She's not my kid".

| Demetria felt bad for staring, but she couldn't help it. "Uhm.." The little girl looked so similar to him, they had to be related. But.. how? And how in the world had she ended up in the same situation as they? "Who is that?" She reluctantly pointed at the little girl, still flabbergasted from the discovery of the infant.

| Loner cast around for a way to explain, a task not made easier when the baby began tugging playfully at a lock of hair. 'She's...my sister,' he said, figuring that was the easiest way to phrase it. He bit his lip. 'But she was at a sitter's...someone in the neighbourhood I knew. She shouldn't have been able to get here...'

| She released the breath she had unconsciously been holding when he confirmed that the toddler wasn't his child, relieved. A new wave of anxiety washed over her, still fearful for her brother. No. Zachary isn't here. I would have found him by now. She thought to herself, biting her lip and taking a deep breath to calm herself. Demetria ripped her stare from the two and walked around the perimeter of the clearing they stood within, trying to get a good idea of where they were.

| Loner put the girl on his shoulders, holding her ankle in one hand. She gurgled, and immediately began working at making patterns with his hair. He came to stand beside Demetria.
'Do you have any idea of the way we're supposed to take?' he asked quietly.

| She frowned, still searching through the trees. "Not exactly. The forest is oddly thick." Turning back to him, she observed the little girl quietly. How pretty she is.. She thought to herself absently, turning and watching the water flow. The movement of the fluid gave her the glimmer of an idea. "I wonder.." she started, still thinking, moving closer to the stream. "Could we follow the water?" Demetria looked down the stream a little, noticing the forest was still fairly overgrown around the banks of the tiny source of water, but it could only help, she hoped.

| 'That's certainly advisable,' Loner said. We'll have water, and food tends to grow along banks.' That sparked an idea in his mind. 'Speaking of which, we should probably stop for food as soon as we see it. We haven't eaten yet today, I don't know if she has,' he pointed up to his sister, who took the opportunity to grab his finger and shake it, 'and we don't know when we'll find it next.'

| At the sound of food Demetria's stomach grumbled unhappily, voicing it's want for nutrition. "Kudos to that." She sighed, rubbing her belly softly. Looking back to the stream, then down at herself, she crouched down to roll up her boot-cut jeans, revealing her hi-top black converse that had been drawn on with many a sharpie. Standing back up, she adjusted the blue t-shirt that sported a large white peace sign, happy for the sleeves so she wouldn't burn in the sun. After quickly tying her hair up with an extra rubber band on her wrist, she was ready for the trek down the water. "Hopefully we find something soon." She commented quietly, moving to the edge of the stream.

| (OOC: Converse? Sorry, I'm basically illiterate when it comes to slang or clothing))
Loner glanced at the tiny stream. 'You won't have to worry about getting wet,' he said. 'Your shoes should keep you dry enough. Even if they didn't, we should walk on the bank. Water that shallow makes it harder to grip onto a surface, and neither of us would want to fall.'

| ooc: These, I'd show you my sharpie'd ones but I don't have a picture of them currently.
bic: "Better safe than sorry." She grinned, looking again down the water at their path. "Here it goes.." Demetria stepped across the stream so she could walk next to Loner and his sister, and moved down the stream slowly.

'I wouldn't stay across, if I were you,' Loner said. 'This is small, but it'll probably diverge. When it does, it'll get deeper, and faster, and we wouldn't want to double back to have either you or me cross again.'

| Name: Marina/Killerkitty
Age: 15
Description: Tall, pale skinned, long black hair, black emotionless eyes, usually has a tabby cat called Snooper on her shoulder, wears black clothes
Overall: Has a strange air about her that makes people tense, is veery good at sneaking around
Background: Most of her life Marina has been brought up as an orphan. A lonely, solitary child, she never played with all the other kids. She envied and hated them for being so happy.
The only thing she loved was reading. Reading and cats. She would go outside and pet one of the street-cats (they all knew her well) and then go to her room and start reading another chapter. After that, she would stare out the window at the children having fun.
Then finally the day came and she got adopted. But she still was unhappy with life, and all the good things in it. One sleepless night, she slipped out of bed and walked to the kitchen. There she got out the sharpest knife she could find.
Slowly, she walked up the steps to her foster parents' room. She went in. Looming over her foster-mother, she stabbed her in the heart. Then, to her foster-father, came the same fate. Marina did not know that she was being watched.
She ran out of the house with a rucksack. In the rucksack was the set of books "The Lord of the Rings", a torch, the knife, a pair of clothes, and food enough to last her for a few days (she didn't eat much).
She whistled twice, and towards her came running a tabby cat, named Snooper, her only friend.
She walked down the street in the shadowy parts, so as not to be noticed as easily. Then suddenly a tall dark figure appeared out of nowhere in front of her. He spoke.
"Hello, I'm the Dark Lord. I already know who you are, Marina. I've been watching you all these years. I can see lots of hatred in your eyes. Join me, and you will become powerful."
Marina kicked him hard in the stomach. The dark figure fell to his knees.
"Sorry mister Darkness, but I live alone. And it's Killer-kitty now."
