The Seven Holy Tribes of Midorea have been a mystery to us for too long. Although the Great Gated City is meant to be a neutral party among the tribes, we do not need to remain ignorant to the rich cultures around us. Today, I want you, Midoreans, to research the Seven Holy Tribes and bring me cultural items from those that you find most interesting. The three most fascinating items will be taken by us and made into Black Market Import items for everyone to experience and enjoy. It is our hope that the distribution of cultural items will help enlighten the masses to the tribes around them.
----
I will provide known information on the tribes below; however, it is very limited. Use the information provided to either do some research or use your creativity and come up with concepts of items based on any of the tribes listed. You do not have to be an artist (pixel artist or otherwise) in order to compete in this contest. As long as you can make a rough sketch of your item OR provide a detailed written description of it, you may participate. However, there are some restrictions. Please keep reading below.
Deadline: Tuesday, May 28 at 11:59PM EST.

| The Seven Holy Tribes
Read up on the tribes and ask questions if you still need clarification. I’ve provided real-world influences, key traits, how they were destroyed, and an item that was already created with the tribe in mind.
The Seven Holy Tribes of Midorea have been around as long as recorded history can date. Each has its own province in Midorea, but none are as great as they once were. They faced catastrophes at the end of their own Earth Cycles, wiping out most of their inhabitants and their culture. Here is what we know about each one:

Item Name: The Jobian Shepherd's Wrap
Tribe: Jobe
Picture and/or description:
Comments: We have a crook, so why not finish the ensemble? When I saw that the Jobian Crook was a nice, simple item, I decided it would look even BETTER if it had a matching headpiece to go with it.
Feel free to give me commentary or suggestions! |

Item Name: Jaguar Warrior Headdress
Tribe: B'asat Equi
Picture and/or description: And yes, those flowy things on the back of the piece are feathers, too much work to make them look pretty.
Comments: Number of feathers and colors can be whatever. Based off the Aztec Leopard Warrior http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:AztecLeopardWarriorv2byGeorgeSStuartt.jpg
Too tired to put any more thought into this (already made like 3 previous fail versions of stuff for the B'asat Equi). It's so much harder to design something than you would think. |

Item Name: Pyramid-san
Tribe: Cyphirias
Picture and/or description: http://i43.tinypic.com/a25938.png
Like the top part of the image, but I got tired of drawing it.
Secondary pose: http://i39.tinypic.com/dh8vmf.png
Another idea of the secondary pose would be the Eye of Horus behind the character.
Comments:
The lines on the bricks are the darkest shade. The outlines of the pyramid and the shading are the second darkest shade. The solid color of the bricks are the third shade. I guess I didn't use the lightest shade...
The eye was going to be the Eye of Horus, but I couldn't make it fit, so I made it a standard red eye (which I drew). |

Item Name: Sun and Moons weapons (the alternative name I had was Taiyo Mun Lun, literally Sun Moon Wheel, but that's Japanese aka dragon tribal (the Chinese name didn't seem as eloquent), I don't know, I can't think of a better name)
Tribe: Horai
Picture and/or description: Here
Comments: The crescents of the weapons represent the astronomical bodies of Midorea: the two moons, the Sun and the Deity moon.
My main inspirations were: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deer_horn_knives
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_and_fire_wheels
Ahahha I just thought of a cheesy pickup line: Babe, are you a planet? 'Cause your body is astronomical! |

Item Name: Golden Leaflet
Tribe: Cyphirias
Picture and/or description: http://i43.tinypic.com/2v1n5nl.png
Comments: I made it randomly, but I think it could be made using different colors and such as well. It was fun to draw o3o It could probably also be made for different parts of the body...Or with a cape or something around the neck. I came up with various ideas, but just drew the simplest one.
Taking part in the contest for fun~ I did a really quick search in the dream editor thing, but I may have missed something like it- if so, let me know. But... I do love paint o3o So, how are things? |

http://i.imgur.com/iabkJ8K.jpg?1
- the staff should be larger
- the necklace and the Scarabaeus Top are separate things
- there are Lotus Petals in the Tiara
Comments: I love the ancient Egyptian culture. So I drew a set for the Cyphirias-Tribe.
This Tribe lived in the desert and there are the oases the most important thing... with the Baby Palm! |

Tribe: Lebel
Picture and/or description:
Comments: Ok so, I don't like the shawl or the legwarmers in the the first one, but I liked the armbands
I like the shawl and legwarmers in image two
Image three is to show off how it looks without the shawl
Aaand, this is simply just to show off my idea, I by no means think that those images would be what would actually be used.. I made this in paint >_>;
Oh, and those are supposed to be the normal Midorea colors, not those colors exactly ^^; |

Item Name: K'iin Ch'iich Wings
Tribe: B’asat Iqui
Picture and/or description:
It's a little hard to tell, but the background is a pale, flesh tone color, with the other colors being red, yellow, brown, and orange.
Comments:
I got inspired by the wings of an eagle that was on a Mayan totem pole, and thus these wings were created c:
K'iin Ch'iich means Sun Bird, and the eagle was "affiliated with the dawning sun, and is a magnificent celestial power, able to shine light into our world" according to the Mayans. |
