| They didn't say anything, just held a manilla envolope out to him.
"We do not need Remmington's approval of this, when the council over all approves." They stated.

| Inside was what was needed from the council to take Averie, all signed by the council members that were needed if they weren't going through Hollie for it. Although, he knew that it was a matter of time before she found out.
"Also, by decree of the council, and you will find this on Page twelve, section C subsection 2, you are to tell us where Demitra Fyrane currently is."

"Sorry, can't help you." he said.
"You may have the authority to take Officer Winchester, but even if I -did- know where Demitra was, I wouldn't say." he told them, before taking out his phone.
"Though, I do think I'll call Hollie Remmington, just to make sure this is all on the up-and-up." he added.

He then brought the phone to his ear, and prayed for her to answer quickly.

| She said that so loud, that Rene had to pull it away from his ear, causing everyone else... the members -and- Averie... to hear her displeasure.
Rene waited until she was done, before bringing it back to his ear.
"Got it." he replied, before he quickly came between Averie and the Council members.
"Sorry, I have my orders." he told them.
