| He faced her, looked down to where his legs and the vines were, before facing her again.
"....I had a feeling there was more to you than there seemed." he told her.
"And... well, I suppose we all must go at some point." he sighed.
"I'm just thankful that I've made it as long as I have." he added, before smiling some.
"Just please make it painless." he asked of her.

| "Hah, painless? Really?" Anna asked with a laugh.
"Sorry, I don't do 'painless'." She added with a small growl as the vines that were around his legs started to climb upwards, tightening as they went.
As they were tightening around him, there was silence from the child in front of him before he heard, clear as day, a gunshot. It was close, and he could smell the fresh blood from the wound shockingly well.
Anna stumbled back as the vines around Andrew fell away moments before she dropped to her knees.
"Shit..." She said quietly, pain in her voice.

| He could feel his breath getting short, as the vines climbed up, but when they suddenly loosened after the gun shot, he had a strong feeling he knew what had happened.
He quickly made his way over to her, feeling for her shoulders. When he found them, he knelt down.
"Hey, are you okay?" he asked.
"Do you need medical help?"

| She didn't say anything, just grabbed his wrist and vanised in a flurry of leaves, along with him. They appeared in a rather modest apartment, that was obviously owned by someone with money.
She got to her feet, carefully, intending to head to the bathroom to check the wound over. She didn't manage to make it three steps before she was on her knees again. As she fell, she sent out a mental cry, hoping beyond hope that Rene would hear it.
RENE! She screamed mentally, her pain evident in her 'voice'.

| Andrew had no time to react, or say or do anything, when she caused him to vanish with her, and appear somewhere else.
He also didn't expect to be shoved away from Anna roughly.
"You bastard!" Rene hissed at him.
"What did you do to her!?" he demanded.
"Calm down, there's been a misunderstanding." Andrew replied.

| "It... It wasn't Andrew." Anna said from where she was, leaning against the wall. Andrew had been kneeling next to her, trying to help as best he could when Rene arrived.
"I... someone outside..." She started, trailing off as she moved her hands, allowing Rene to see where she had been shot. She wasn't sure if it was a stray bullet, or if it was intentional since both were very possible in that area.

| Rene just shook his head.
"All right, you need work done." he said, as he picked her up.
"You." he said to Andrew.
"In the living room, and stay there." he ordered, before starting to carry Anna off.

| Anna didn't say anything as Rene picked her up.
"Follow... the wall Andrew. You'll find the couch against it." She told him, having picked up on him being blind. She just rested her head against her cousin though, obviously relieved that he'd heard her.

| "All right." Andrew replied, as Rene carried Anna off into her room.
He took her inside, and shut the door behind them with his foot.
"Geez... you really shouldn't let your guard down, you know." he told her.

| "Oh?" he asked, as he laid her down on the bed, and examined her wound.
"Saving him for a snack for later, eh?" he asked further with a chuckle.

| He seemed to freeze mid-motion, as she admitted that.
".....what?" he asked.
"Ok... who are you, and where's Anna?" he asked further, his tone ominous and distrusting.

| "I..." Anna started before freezing, obviously in pain. A small cry escaped her lips as she tensed up from it.
".... believe what you want." Was all she said, through the pain no less. She realized that her saying that would just make it worse for Rene though. She would always argue with him, not just let it slide like that.

| He gnashed his teeth some, before narrowing his eyes.
"Your full real name. Now." he said.
He knew that only her and himself knew her real full name, so this would serve as the test to see if she was an imposter or not.
