| ".... That makes it sound really ominous. Minutes to spare from what...?" Aimee asked, her tone almost scared.
"If he'd taken any longer, you would have been bedridden for probably a month, at least, before you would be able to stand on your own weight.... with crutches." Victoria answered.
".... oh holy shit. I'll have to thank him for that then." Aimee commented.

"Well... he -did- say he would take care of you." he said.
"Seems he's a man of his word." he added.
"He really should know that you're up now, though." he commented.

| "Oh, also, you're going to be stuck with crutches for about a week after you're out of here." Victoria told her daughter.
"You can be without for a bit each day, yes, but too long and it will start to hurt again." she added before looking to Emery.
"Want me to go and tell him?"

"Yeah, go ahead." he told her.
"And we should tell him about his parents when he's here, as well..." he added with a sigh.

"What about his parents...?" Aimee asked, curious.

Victoria found Salem rather easily, he was just outside, after all.
"Hey, Xeccan." Victoria said as she approached.
"Aimee's awake."

Salem snapped to attention when he heard Aimee's name.
"What? She is?" he asked, before sighing.
"Oh, thank heavens..." he then said, relief in his tone.
"How... how is she?" he asked further, a little unease to his tone now.

| He walked in, and saw that Aimee was, indeed, awake.
"Aimee!" he said.
"You're awake! How are you feeling?" he asked her.

| Aimee looked over and just smiled when she saw Salem.
"I'm all right." She told him honestly.
"I still hurt, but not as badly as before." she added.

| He just continued to smile, before the headmaster cleared his throat.
"Now... I have some news about your parents." he told Salem.
"What... what is it?" Salem asked.
"It seems that they are both dead." Emery told him.

| Aimee sighed. She wasn't surprised. She hadn't expected the ministry to just leave them be or anything. She was curious as to what happened, but she wasn't about to ask, not while she had no idea if Salem wanted to know or anything.

| "What...? How...? Why...?" Salem asked, obviously in shock.
"It seems that they were so loyal to Salazar, that they kept suicide pills with them, in case they were captured." the headmaster said.
"They took them as soon as Emery and Victoria left them with the ministry." he added.
Salem just slumped into a chair, a myriad of emotions, ranging from relief, to sadness, to anger, to happiness in his eyes.
