Then, before she could protest any more, he made a shallow cut on his arm, so that the scent of his blood would fill the room... to her, anyway.

| She froze for a moment, trying to hold back. As she was there, and refraining from attacking him, she couldn't hold back for long though. Moments later, she lunged, and Vincent wouldn't have even seen her coming before he felt her behind him and her fangs in his throat.

| He couldn't help but to yelp out in surprise and pain, from the suddenness of her plunging her fangs in.
He barely had time to slam some magic into his chest to increase his blood production, so she wouldn't outright drain him dry.

| It didn't take long at all before she had him on his knees as she drained him.
-
Rocky heard Vicnent's exclamation and looked up to the ceiling.
"what...?" she asked before quickly making her way upstairs to see someone feasting on Vincent. Instantly, the vampire found themselves torn away from Vincent by a whip made of fire and pinned to the wall.
"Vincent!" Rocky exclaimed as she made her way over and knelt by him.
"Are you alright?" she asked as she covered the bite location with her hand, in an attempt to stem the blood flow.

| Vincent looked to Rocky, and smiled slightly.
"Heh... thought... you weren't coming up." he said, before looking to Kaia.
"And you can let your granddaughter down now... I was allowing her to drain me." he informed her.

| Rocky looked over to Kaia as the flames around her faded and vanished.
"Thanks." Kaia said before getting to her feet and wiping her mouth.
"Vincent. I told you no for a reason." She added.
"I did not want to do that. Couldn't you bloody well respect it?" she asked before shaking her head.
"Whatever, I need to get over to Jadens." She added before heading towards the door. She was stopped by a wall of flames though.
"Kaia... Please.. don't leave.." Rocky half begged. Kaia just sighed.
"I have Jadens old cell, call me. I just need to clear out for now. Don't worry, I'm not leaving the city, I'm sticking around until Kiah's out of the hospital, at the very least." She told her grandmother.

| Vincent sighed as he healed the wound on his neck and looked to Kaia.
He made his way over to her, and whispered to her.
"At least go and give your grandmother a hug." he said.
"She's been miserable since you left, and it's only gotten worse since Kiah's been in the hospital."

| Kaia didn't have a chance to say, or do, anything before she found Rocky's arms wrapped around her with enough force tocause her to stumble back a step.
"Whoa!" She exclaimed as she hugged the woman back.
"Relax, I'm fine. And Kiah should be aswell."
"What? What makes you say that...?" Rocky asked.
"I went and saw her earlier today."

| Kaia looked to Vincent and nodded.
'Yeah, it is." she told him honestly.
"I'm furious that she's doing this again. She was anorexic when we were younger, and she slipped back to that, yet took it farther. Once she's out, I have every intention of beating some sense into that head of hers." She added as Rocky stepped back and sighed.
"I doubt it'll change anything." Rocky commented.
"You really think that'll stop me?"

| Vincent just chuckled.
"Same old Kaia." he said with a smile.
"Well, it's good that you're back." he told her.
"And Kiah should improve vastly now... seeing as we believe this started about 3 months after you left." he added.

| "Yeah, it will. From what I heard, from her, she stopped eating BECAUSE I took off." Kaia said with a sigh.
"Regardless, I do need to head out. I'll catch you two later. as I said, I'm at Jadens, so it'll be easy enough to track me down." She added before heading to the door.
"Oh, and Vincent, thank you, but next time I say no, don't force my hand." she added before leaving.
"... She seems different than when she left..." Rocky commented as the door closed behind the vampire.

"I just felt that you really needed to feed is all." he added, saying goodbye before Rocky shut the door.
"Yes... I agree." he said to Rocky.
"She seems a lot more grown up now."

| Rocky just breathed a sigh of relief as she lowered herself to her knees. Already, Vincent could tell that she was feeling better, that there was a notable shift in her mood already.

Kaia walked to the end of the drive and vanished from her spot. She appeared outside of Jaden and Desiree's building, hidden by some bushes, and pulled out the cell again.
Hey, I'm outside of the building. Want to let me in, or do you want me to just appear up there? She sent as a text to Jaden.

| He knelt down as well, and hugged her, holding her close.

Go ahead and appear in the suite. it said.
