| Vincent sighed.
"I'll go see if I can get her to talk to me." he assured Cass.
After their goodbyes had been said, he hung up, and vanished from his study, appearing at the door of Demi's house.
He knocked loudly, and upon receiving no answer, poked his head in.
"DEMITRA!" he called.
"It's me, Vincent!"

| He didn't get an answer, just the echoing silence throughout the house.
Before he could step in though, a tall woman with dark enough red hair that it looked black came downstairs and met up with him.
"Fuck off Vincent. I am not interested in entertaining today." She snarled as she approached. As she neared him, he would be able to see that she hadn't been eating much in the past bit.

"Now what's this I hear about you declining bounties from Cassandra?" he asked her.

"I'm just not interested in risking my life for money at the moment. If that's a crime, call the fucking cops." She snarled.

"One would think that without the tension of having Kaia around, you'd feel a little more light-hearted, and ready to take on more bounties."

"Demitra." he said.
"Holing up alone, and bottling things in, is never the solution." he told her.

| As he spoke, he could feel her temper sparking, and rather violently.
"Vincent... fuck... off." she hissed, her tone promising violence if he didn't comply. Of course, she wasn't in any shape to.

| "I've already said my piece." she snapped before heading towards the stairs that were connected to the kitchen, obviously intending to leave him be. That something about her, she would always argue everything when given the chance. Why wasn't she here? She stood up for her beliefs, her opinions. Yet... she wasn't going to contest Vincent here.
